Claims (5)

  1. An apparatus for applying a layer of mortar or concrete to a wall surface through spraying with a pneumatic conveying device (4-17) for transporting a solid-material mixture of the mortar or concrete to a nozzle provided with a water feeding means, the mixture including a quick-setting binder, especially a quick-setting cement, and aggregate,
    characterised in that
    a pneumatic delivery station (25) comprising a funnel (3) to be filled with aggregate and a rotor (9) mounted below the funnel and rotating about a vertical axis is provided, with a collar of vertical chambers (12) being arranged in the rotor, which chambers are open at the top and closed at the bottom in one segment of their circular path and open at the top and bottom in another segment, the chambers further being arranged between a feed (7) and a discharge (17) of the pneumatic conveying flow, and that a mechanical conveyor (27,28) for the binder leads into the funnel (3) and discharges (29) shortly above a floor (4) of the funnel (3).

    the conveyor (27, 28) discharges centrally above the floor (4).
  3. The apparatus according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in that
    an impeller (23) sweeping over the floor (4) of the funnel (3) is located below the discharge port (29) and preferably has a drive shaft (20) coaxial to or the same as that of the rotor (9).

    the conveyor (27, 28) comprises a conveyor worm (27) disposed in a jacket pipe (28) and laterally inserted through the funnel wall, said conveyor worm preferably also being provided with a variable drive, preferably an infinitely variable motor (31), as a metering device.
  5. The apparatus according to claim 4,
    characterised in that
    the conveyor worm (27) leads into the funnel (3) from a supply bin (26) adjacent to the funnel (3), preferably a trough-like supply bin (26) with a screw shaft and/or paddle shaft (31) above its floor, the extension thereof forming the aforementioned conveyor worm (27).
