Aufbewahrungsboxen für Schraubendrehereinsätze obiger Art sind bekannt. Sie dienen nicht allein nur der Aufbewahrung der Bits, sondern können mit Hilfe des in ihnen umsteckbar lagernden, zumeist als Magnethalter ausgebildeten Bits-Kupplungsschaftes zugleich auch als Schraubendreher verwendet werden, indem die Aufbewahrungsbox selber dafür den Schraubendreher-Betätigungsgriff bildet. Darüber hinaus erlaubt es der Bits-Kupplungsschaft aber auch, daß er mit seinem zumeist sechskantig ausgebildeten Ende in die entsprechende Innenmehrkantöffnung von Bohrmaschinen eingesetzt werden kann. Bei einer durch die DE-A-39 06 716 bekannten Aufbewahrungsbox der eingangs erwähnten Gattung besteht der Bits-Halter aus einem flachen, die Bits-Aufnahmefächer nebeneinander enthaltenden im wesentlichen quaderförmigen Gehäuseboden und einem damit über ein längsseitig verlaufendes Scharniergelenk verbundenen, entsprechend quaderförmigen Gehäusedeckel, wobei das Scharniergelenk quer zu den Bits-Aufnahmefächern verläuft und im Bereich des entsprechend gewölbt ausgebildeten filmscharnierartigen Klappgelenks der Bits-Kupplungsschaft sowie die ihn umsteckbar lagernde durchgehende Aufnahmeöffnung liegen. Diese Aufbewahrungsbox erlaubt zwar eine vergleichsweise gedrängte Unterbringung der Bits wie auch des Bits-Kupplungsschaftes, hat aber den Nachteil, daß die Aufbewahrungsbox bei ihrer Verwendung als Schraubendreher-Betätigungsgriff sich nur einseitig von dem dann den Schraubendreherschaft bildenden umgesteckten Kupplungsschaft erstreckt und somit nur vergleichsweise geringe Drehmomente aufzubringen erlaubt. Auch bereitet das Öffnen dieser zigarrenkistenartig aufklappbaren Aufbewahrungsbox zuweilen Schwierigkeiten, da der zwischen Gehäuseboden und Gehäusedeckel vorhandene U-förmige Öffnungsbereich rundum glatt verläuft und keinerlei Fingerbetätigungsvorsprünge aufweist. Darüber hinaus erfordert das Umstecken des Bits-Kupplungsschaftes aus seiner Aufbewahrungs- in die Gebrauchslage als Drehschrauberschaft, daß dabei die Aufbewahrungsbox wie auch der Bits-Kupplungsschaft jeweils von einer Bedienungshand in die andere übernommen werden müssen, was die Handhabung dieser Aufbewahrungsbox entsprechend erschwert.Storage boxes for screwdriver bits of the above type are known. Auf diese Weise kann der Bits-Halter zu seiner Montage mit seinen Lagerbolzen leicht in die Einschiebe-Aussparungen des sektorförmigen Klappdeckels soweit eingeschoben werden, daß die an seinen Lagerbolzen vorhandenen Rundköpfe in Höhe der Rundbereiche der Schlüssellöcher gelangen, so daß dann der Bits-Halter in dieser Position verschwenkt werden kann. Die Lagerbolzen am Bits-Halter sowie der beiderseitige Abstand der Einschiebe-Aussparungen im Lagerwangenbereich des Klappdeckels sind dabei zweckmäßig so gehalten, daß während der vorerwähnten Einschiebebewegung des Bits-Halters der Klappdeckel in seinem Lagerwangenbereich vorübergehend geweitet wird, so daß die Lagerbolzen des Bits-Halters mit ihren Rundköpfen in die Schlüsselloch-Rundbereiche einschnappen können und darin gegen unerwünschtes Herausfahren gesichert bleiben. Sodann oder auch schon vorher kann der Bits-Halter 2 mit in seiner Aufnahmeöffnung 13 eingesteckten Bits 1 und dem in die durchgehende Aufnahmeöffnung 11 eingesteckten Bits-Kupplungsschaft 12 gefüllt werden. Der entsprechende Auffüllzustand ist in Fig.3 wiedergegeben. Von dieser Position ausgehend kann die Aufbewahrungsbox durch einfaches Schwenkverstellen des Bits-Halters 2 um 180° in die in Fig.1 dargestellte normale Ruhe- bzw. Aufbewahrungsposition verschwenkt werden. In dieser Lage ist der Bits-Halter 2 soweit in den Klappdeckel 3 eingeschoben, daß die Hälse 4'' seiner Lagerbolzen 4 in Höhe der Flachbereiche 7'' der Schlüssellöcher 7 liegen, so daß in dieser Position der Bits-Halter 2 nicht verschwenkt werden kann. Vielmehr muß er dazu zunächst ein wenig aus dem Klappdeckel 3 herausgezogen werden, nämlich soweit, bis die Hälse 4'' seiner Lagerbolzen 4 voll in den Rundbereich 7' der Schlüssellöcher 7 gelangt sind. Sodann kann der Bits-Halter 2 verschwenkt und nach Umstecken des Bits-Kupplungsschaftes 12 und Wiedereinschieben des Bits-Halters 2 in den Klappdeckel 3 in die in Fig.4 dargestellte Schraubendreher-Arbeitsposition gebracht werden. Storage box according to claim 2, characterised in that the bits-receiving compartments (13) as well as the circular cylindrical portion (11') of the throughgoing receiving hole (11) for the bits-coupling shaft (12) set between the compartments are connected with each other by means of a longitudinal slot (14) provided in the bits holder (2), with the side walls (14') of the slot being provided with clamping ribs (14'') projecting inwardly in opposition to each other and providing a demarcation between the individual receiving compartments (13).
  4. Storage box according to claim 2, characterised in that pivot bearing pins (4) are provided on the rhombic bits holder (2) on both sides at the centre, said pins engaging in bearing holes (7) in the centre of the two side walls of the sector-shaped hinged cover (3).
