Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft eine Obermatratze für ein aus einer Ober- und einer Untermatratze besetehendes Matratzensystem gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
- Herkömmliche Obermatratzen mit Spiralfedern enthaltenden Federkernen weisen im wesentlichen überall die gleiche Federcharakteristik auf. Dadurch entspricht ihre Nachgiebigkeit nicht in allen Bereichen des Bettes der zu erwartenden Belastung. Ausserdem sind Spiralfedern in Herstellung und Einbau verhältnismässig kompliziert und stellen als Metallteile einen unerwünschten Fremdkörper in der Obermatratze dar.
- Aus der DE-A-29 42 174 ist eine Obermatratze mit Federelementen bekannt, welche jeweils aus mehreren sich über die ganze Länge oder Breite erstreckenden wellenartig gebogenen, abschnittsweise miteinander verklebten Streifen gebildet sind, so dass die Federelemente horizontal und quer verlaufende prismatische Elemente bilden. Die Streifen können aus einem Faserverbundwerkstoff hergestellt sein. Da sich die Federelemente jeweils über die ganze Ausdehnung der Matratze erstrecken, ist jedoch eine flexible Anpassung der Federcharakteristik an lokal zu erwartende Belastungen nicht möglich. Diesbezügliche Anpassungsfähigkeit zu erreichen, ist offenbar auch nicht beabsichtigt.
- Zudem sind die Federelemente nicht einfach zu montieren, da sich Längs- und Querelemente kreuzen und eines jeweils durch eines der prismatischen Elemente des anderen durchgezogen werden muss. Die erwähnten Elemente dürften bei Einfederung überwiegend an den Kanten deformiert werden, sodass dort Ermüdungsbrüche zu befürchten sind.
- Der Erfindung liegt demgegenüber die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine gattungsgemässe Obermatratze zu schaffen mit Federelementen, deren Federcharakteristik an unterschiedliche lokale Belastungen anpassbar ist.
- Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die im kennzeichnenden Teil des unabhängigen Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst. Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Ansprüche 2 bis 5.
- Die durch die Erfindung erreichten Vorteile sind vor allem darin zu sehen, dass die erfindungsgemässe Obermatratze sehr einfach zu montieren und an örtlich unterschiedliche Belastungen anpassbar ist. Die Federelemente weisen durch ihre Form günstige Charakteristiken auf und sind sehr belastbar und dauerhaft. Die Obermatratze erlaubt zudem Weiterbildungen, auf deren besondere Eigenschaften weiter unten noch hingewiesen wird. Insbesondere kann sie ohne weiteres vollständig aus Kunststoff und textilen oder textilartigen Materialien hergestellt werden.
- Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand von nur ein Ausführungsbeispiel darstellenden Figuren näher erläutert. Es zeigen

- mehrere Ausführungsformen eines Bestandteils (Federelement) einer Obermatratze gemäss der Erfindung.
- Die Obermatratze (Fig. 1) enthält zwischen einer oberen Auflage und einer unteren Auflage z. B. aus Rosshaar oder Textilfasern Federelemente 1.
- Erfindungsgemäss besteht jedes Federelement 1 aus mehreren übereinandergestapelten und fest miteinander verbundenen Rohrabschnitten 2 aus elastischem Material, vorzugsweise einem Elastomer und weist an seinem oberen und an seinem unteren Ende je eine Auflagefläche 3 auf zur Abstützung der jeweiligen Auflage. Einzelne Rohrabschnitte 2 weisen beidseitig Verbindungselemente 4 zur Herstellung von Schnappverbindungen mit benachbarten Federelementen auf. Die Federelemente 1 können je nach der gewünschten Federcharakteristik verschieden ausgebildet sein (Fig. 2). Z. B. können einzelne Rohrabschnitte zur Versteifung horizontale Verstrebungen 5 enthalten, die bei Halbierung der äusseren Rohrabschnitte auch als Auflageflächen 3 dienen können. Federelemente 1 verschiedener Charakteristik können nach Massgabe der zu erwartenden örtlichen Belastung in der Obermatratze verteilt werden. Auch durch das Herstellen oder Nichtherstellen von Schnappverbindungen zwischen benachbarten Federelementen 1 können lokale Steifigkeit und Federeigenschaften der Obermatratze beeinflusst werden.
Claims (5)
- Obermatzratze für eine aus einer Ober- und einer Untermatratze bestehendes Matratzensystem, welche zwischen einer oberen und einer unteren Auflage Federelemente (1) umfasst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes Federelement (1) im wesentlichen aus einem horizontalen zylindrischen Rohrabschnitt (2) aus elastischem Material oder aus mehreren übereinandergestapelten und fest miteinander verbundenen derartigen Rohrabschnitten (2) besteht und die Federelemente über die Fläche der Obermatratze verteilt nebeneinander in derselben angeordnet sind.
- Obermatratze nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes Federelement an seinem oberen und an seinem unteren Ende je eine Auflageflache (3) aufweist.
- Obermatratze nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei mehreren der Federelemente (1) jeweils mindestens einer der Rohrabschnitte (2) beidseitig je ein Verbindungselement (4) zur Herstellung einer Verbindung zu einem benachbarten Federelement (1) aufweist.
- Obermatratze nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbindungselemente (4) zur Herstellung von Schnappverbindungen geeignet sind.
- Obermatratze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Federelemente (1) im wesentlichen aus Kunststoff bestehen.
