Abstract

A device is described for dispensing flowable media, which device consists of a container with a tube of elastically deformable materials and a valve device in the tube part, the device having a stationary contact-pressure part and a pivotable lever possessing a contact-pressure surface. The pivotable lever serves to compress the tube section arranged between the contact-pressure part and the contact-pressure surface, opening the valve device and dispensing the medium contained in the tube, the tube being connected to a pivotable section of the lever.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Abgabe fließfähiger Medien nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.The invention relates to a device for dispensing flowable media according to the preamble of claim 1.

Herkömmliche Vorrichtungen der eingangs genannten Art werden insbesondere als Seifenspender verwendet und sind z.B. in der US-PS 4, 130, 224 beschrieben. Hierbei besitzt der Behälter einen flexiblen Schlauch, der mit dem Gehäuse der Vorrichtung fest verbunden ist und durch einen verschwenkbaren Hebel zusammengepreßt werden kann. Während der Benutzung dieser Vorrichtung ist jedoch nicht sichergestellt, daß der Benutzer das abgehende Medium auf die von ihm gewünschte Stelle seiner Hand verabreicht bekommt, zumal der Beginn der Abgabe des Mediums zum einen von der relativen Lage der Hand mit Bezug auf den Auslaß und zum anderen davon abhängig ist, in welcher Lage des Hebels das Ventil öffnet. Dies hat zur Folge, daß Benutzer mit langen Fingern und großen Handflächen das Medium regelmäßig auf die Finger verabreicht bekommen, während bei Personen mit kurzen Fingern nicht ausgeschlossen werden kann, daß das Medium den Bereich zwischen dem Handteller und dem Handgelenk beaufschlagt. Dies ist unerwünscht und kann sich vor allem dann als Nachteil erweisen, wenn der Benutzer langärmlige Wäschestücke trägt. Ferner sind in den EP 0 045 830 und 0 329 532 Seifenspender beschrieben, die mit vergleichbaren Nachteilen wie der eingangs genannte Seifenspender behaftet sind.Conventional devices of the type mentioned at the outset are used in particular as soap dispensers and are described, for example, in US Pat. Eine zweckmäßige Maßnahme der Erfindung sieht vor, daß der Auslaß des Schlauches im unteren Bereich des Hebels angeordnet ist. Hierbei können diese Maßnahmen auch so getroffen sein, daß die der Andruckpartie zugekehrte Seite des Hebels eine mit ihm verbindbare Halteeinrichtung für den Auslaß aufweist. Im Rahmen dieses Erfindungsgedankens ist es besonders vorteilhaft, wenn der Hebel eine Stelleinrichtung mit einem Halteabschnitt umfaßt, dessen Lage in Längsrichtung des Hebels und auf diesem kontinuierlich einstellbar und hierbei feststellbar ist. In den Fig. 1 bis 7 ist eine Vorrichtung zur Abgabe fließfähiger Medien, z.B. Seife, Putzmittel oder dgl., die in einem Behälter 10 mit einem eine Ventileinrichtung 12 aufweisenden Schlauch 14 aus elastisch verformbaren Werkstoff angeordnet sind, dargestellt. Die Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Grundkörper 8 und einem Gehäuse 40, das mittels nicht näher dargestellter Halteeinrichtungen mit dem Grundkörper 8 lösbar verbindbar ist. Der Grundkörper 8 ist mit einer Wand 46 fest verbindbar und besitzt im oberen Bereich einen Träger 42 mit Haken 44. Die Haken 44 tragen den als Beutel ausgebildeten Behälter 10, in dem das Medium 22 untergebracht ist. Das Medium 22 kann flüssig, pastös oder auch körnig sein. Das untere Ende des Behälters 10 läuft in den Schlauch 14 aus, der im Übergangsbereich einen Ring 6 trägt, der sich auf einer Stütze 32 des Grundkörpers 8 abstützt. Die Stütze 32 besitzt eine Sicherung 30, durch die sichergestellt werden soll, daß der Schlauch 14 sich von der Stütze 32 nicht von selbst löst. An diese Stütze 32 ist auch der Hebel 20 angelenkt, der eine Andruckfläche 18 in Form einer angelenkten Platte trägt. Der Gelenkpunkt 26 der Andruckfläche 18 ist im mittleren Bereich des Hebels angeordnet, während das andere Ende des Körpers eine Druckfeder 24 aufweist, durch die die auf den Schlauch 14 wirkende Kraft teilweise reguliert werden kann. Die Andruckpartie 16 ist ebenfalls von einer Platte gebildet, die mit dem Grundkörper 8 gelenkig oder fest verbindbar ist, deren Neigungswinkel jedoch mittels einer Schraube 23 einstellbar ist. Von dem Neigungswinkel α der Andruckpartie 16 hängt es ab, welche Menge des im Schlauch 14 befindlichen Mediums ausgepreßt wird. Der Neigungswinkel α ist durch die Geraden 13 und 15 definiert, die sich oberhalb des Hebels 20 schneiden. Er kann von 0° bis 45° eingestellt werden, und zwar stufenlos. Größere Winkel können ebenfalls eingestellt werden, sie sind jedoch von geringerer Bedeutung. Im unteren Bereich des Behälters 10 sind ebenfalls zwei Augen 52 vorgesehen, in die zwei Dorne 54 einsteckbar sind. Der Behälter 10 ist daher endseitig fixiert, so daß die Bewegung des Hebels 20 keine Auswirkungen auf seine Lage innerhalb des Gehäuses haben. Der Hebel 20 ist in Form eines Bügels mit zwei Schenkeln 56 und 58 ausgebildet, die in ihrem unteren Bereich den Betätigungsabschnitt 2 aufweisen. Die Schenkel 56 und 58 sind um die Achse 60 verschwenkbar und können die in den Fig. 5 bis 7 dargestellte Positionen einnehmen. In ihrem oberen Drittel sind die Schenkel 56 und 58 gekröpft, um die Schwenkachse 60 möglichst im Bereich der Längsmittelachse 62 des Schlauches anbringen zu können. In dieser Position des Hebels 20 ist erfahrungsgemäß seine beste Wirkung erzielbar. Von einzelnen Teilen der Vorrichtung, z.B. der Druckfeder 24, abgesehen, kann die Vorrichtung aus Kunststoff bestehen, wobei die Teile durch Spritzgießverfahren herstellbar sind. Durch Aushängen des Gehäuses 40 wird eine Arbeitslage erreicht, wie sie in den Fig. 3 und 4 dargestellt ist. Hier kann nun der entleerte Behälter 10 ausgehängt und durch einen neuen ersetzt werden. Die Fig. 5, 6 und 7 zeigen, daß beim Betätigen des Hebels 20 in Richtung des Pfeiles 1 der minimale Abstand d zwischen der Andruckpartie 16 und der Andruckfläche 18 verringert wird, bis eine Position erreicht ist, bei der das im Schlauch befindliche Medium nicht mehr nach oben strömen kann. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt wird bei weiterem Betätigen des Hebels 20 auf das im Schlauchabschnitt befindliche Medium Druck ausgeübt, was dazu führt, daß das Ventil öffnet und das im Schlauch befindliche Medium nach außen gelangen kann. Die Öffnung 48 ist in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel Teil der Ventileinrichtung 12, die vorzugsweise als ein Überdruckventil ausgebildet ist. Welches Ventil für welches Medium angewandt wird, kann experimentell festgestellt und danach eingesetzt werden. Bei flüssigen oder pastösen Medien kann, wie bereits erwähnt, zweckmäßigerweise ein Überdruckventil verwendet werden, während bei körnigem Material ein Schlitzmembranventil vorteilhaft genutzt werden kann. Nach Erreichen der Anschlagstelle (Fig. 7) wird der Hebel 20 freigemacht, wobei er die in Fig. 5 dargestellte Ausgangsposition einnimmt. Daraufhin strömt in den Schlauch 14 das im Behälter 10 befindliche Medium, wodurch er aufgefüllt wird und die in Fig. 5 dargestellte Form einnimmt. Claims (14)

  1. A device for dispensing flowable media disposed in a container (10), comprising a hose (14) made of resiliently deformable material, which has a valve arrangement (12) and extends vertically, a fixed contact portion (16) as well as a lever (20) rotatable about a horizontal axis (60) and having a contact surface (18), for compressing a section of the hose arranged between the contact portion (16) and the contact surface (18), while opening the valve arrangement (12) and dispensing the medium (22) contained in the hose (14),
    characterised in that the outlet (48) of the hose (14) is connected to a portion of the pivotable lever (20), and that the lever (20) is in the form of a bracket having two arms (56, 58) and that the pivot axis (60) of the lever (20) is arranged within the region of the vertical centre axis (62) of the hose (14).
  2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the outlet (48) of the hose (14) is arranged within the lower region of the lever (20).
  3. A device according to either claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the side of the lever (20) facing the contact portion (16) has a gripping arrangement (36) for the outlet (48), which is fixedly connectable to said lever.
  4. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the lever (20) comprises an adjusting arrangement (3) with a gripping portion, whose position in the longitudinal direction of the lever (20) and on said lever is continuously adjustable and, at the same time, securable.
  5. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the gripping arrangement (36) has a sleeve made of resilient material, retaining the outlet (48), and that the position of the adjusting arrangement (3) is adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the lever (20) and on said lever, by means of an adjusting screw.
  6. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the valve arrangement is held by the sleeve.
  7. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the contact surface (18) is part of a pressure member hinged to the lever (20).
  8. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the pressure member is resiliently mounted on the lever (20).
  9. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the hinged contact portion (16) is part of a plate member whose position is variable relative to the lever (20).
  10. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the back of the lever (20) and the contact portion (16) each define a straight line (13, 15) and that the straight lines (13, 15) intersect at an angle (a), the size of which depends on the operative position of the contact portion (16).
  11. A device according to claim 10, characterised in that the angle (α) is less than 45°.
  12. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the contact portion (16) is hinged to the device, is pivotable about the axis (11), and at the same time is adjustable.
  13. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the hose (14) and the container (10) are integrally formed and made of the same material.
  14. A device according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the upper end of the hose (14) is held by a support (32) of the device.
