Description
The invention relates to a printing unit tower.
Aus dem Fachbuch von Oskar Frei "Techniken, Systeme, Maschinen", Polygraphverlag, 1979 ist es bekannt, Druckwerke übereinander anzuordnen (z.B. Seite 13). From the specialist book by Oskar Frei "Techniques, Systems, Machines", Polygraph Verlag, 1979 it is known to arrange printing units one above the other (eg page 13). In the known printing units in satellite design (
The object of the present invention is to develop the generic printing unit tower consisting of at least two satellite printing units arranged one above the other in such a way that one with free access to the lower and the upper satellite printing unit Lubrication of the freshly printed ink is prevented in the subsequent satellite printing unit, or that continuous or intermittent cleaning of the ink or the satellite cylinders of the downstream printing unit is made possible.
This object is achieved by the characterizing part of claim 1.
In contrast to the prior art, in which adjacent blanket cylinders of a satellite printing unit can be placed against one another in a common, approximately vertically running plane, according to the present invention at least one satellite printing unit, preferably the upper one or, viewed from the application of the pressure, the respective downstream satellite printing unit, is so is formed that adjacent blanket cylinders can be adjusted to each other in an approximately horizontal plane. This has the advantage that an anti-lubrication or cleaning device can be arranged in an approximately vertical plane between the pairs of cylinders, which can be adjusted to the satellite cylinder. Thus, for example, in a lower printing unit, the printing material web already covered on one side with fresh ink, coming from below, can be fed past and around the side of the anti-lubrication or cleaning device, so that the other side can be printed, and then again down the printing material web, which is now printed on both sides, on the other side of the smearing prevention or cleaning device, can first be led out of the upper satellite printing unit. Of course, the lower satellite printing unit can also be designed according to the invention. In each satellite printing unit, the circumference of the satellite cylinder can correspond to that of the other cylinders or it can have twice the circumference. Can too Within the scope of the invention, two satellite cylinders can be used instead of just one satellite cylinder. Another advantage of the invention is that the printing material web, which is preferably coming from below in an ascending branch, can first be fed to the lower satellite printing unit, can be guided at the appropriate distance, so that the lower satellite printing unit remains freely accessible from both sides. The same applies to the upper satellite printing unit, since the web printed on both sides can advantageously be led out of the printing unit tower at a distance from the upper satellite printing unit.
The invention is described below using an exemplary embodiment with the aid of the drawing. This shows schematically a printing unit tower 1, which comprises an upper
The lower satellite printing unit 3, which, as mentioned above, can be designed either in a conventional manner or according to the invention, also comprises a
The
According to the invention, the lubrication prevention or
Within the scope of the inventive concept, it is also possible that the
