Abstract

Process and device for removing the yarn turns from the spinning head 6 of a spindle 3 of a spinning or twisting machine for the purpose of the automatic removal of the full bobbin and its replacement by an empty tube. This type of machine comprises spindles 3 extending within a ring 21, on which slides a traveller 22 driven by the yarn 15 coming from a yarn guide 5. The ring 21 is mounted on a frame 2 which is displaced along the bobbin. According to the invention, the yarn guide 5 is first lifted into a partially raised position. Subsequently, the frame 2 carrying the ring 21 is raised to a level higher than the level employed during spinning; the spindle 3 is rotated approximately one turn in the opposite direction to the spinning direction; the spindle is rotated approximately one turn in the spinning direction, and the yarn guide is lifted into a completely raised position. <IMAGE>

Description

The present invention relates to an improvement of a textile machine of the continuous spinning or twisting ring type. More particularly, the invention relates to a method and a device for automatically removing full bobbins and for placing empty tubes on the spindles of a continuous spinning or twisting machine.

A ring spinning or twisting machine has several pins. Each spindle is equipped at its upper end with a spinning head and carries a tube on which the thread, coming from the continuous and guided by a thread guide, is wound.

Each spindle is mounted on the machine frame and extends inside a ring on which slides a cursor driven by the wire coming from the wire guide.

Each ring is mounted on a bench which moves along the spindle to deposit the wire on the tube, placed on the spindle, in order to form a coil.

It is in common use, as described, for example, in European patent n ° 0143770 to remove all the full coils of the same machine at the same time and to replace all the empty tubes on the spindles at the same time.

For convenience, the method applied to a single pin is described below, the method being the same for all the pins.

When the spool is filled with wire to its upper part, the bench supporting the ring on which the cursor slides descends directly from the upper part of the spindle to the lower part of the spindle, where a few turns of wire are wound.

Un dispositif de coupe de fil est décrit, par exemple, dans le brevet européen n° 0142486.At this point, the wire will be cut or broken so as to allow the coil to be removed. A wire cutting device is described, for example, in European patent No. 0142486.

In modern spinning mills for large yarns, it is customary to overcome the spindle with an integral part called the spinning head (or spindle head) and intended to reduce the tension of the thread at the delivery cylinder.

When the spool has been wound up and the thread cut, the machine being stopped, the thread coming from the delivery cylinder first passes over the spinning head, on which it is wound a few turns, then goes towards the cursor, passes in this one, and goes towards the base of the spindle on which were wound some turns of wire at the time of the stop of the machine.

The coil will then be taken by a gripping device which clamps the coil on its upper part to lift it and remove it from the spindle. This device must therefore surround the upper part of the coil to be able to tighten on it.

If the thread is presented in the manner described above, it may happen that the gripping device encounters the thread wound on the spinning head, clamps it at the same time as the spool and tears it up by winding up the spool.

To avoid this defect, the wire must be cleared from the spinning head before the gripping device descends onto the spindle, i.e. the few turns of wire wound on the spinning head must be removed. .

A system for achieving this objective has already been proposed in European patent No. 0112304. It consists in raising the spool to a level at which the top of the spool is placed above the level of the spinning head.

However, this system has the drawback of requiring special lifting means, distinct from the existing means of moving the bench carrying the ring. Indeed, these existing means do not allow the reel to be raised to a level higher than the spinning head.

The present invention provides a simple method and device for eliminating the turns of yarns from the spinning head, and do not require additional equipment.

According to the invention, the majority of the turns present on the spinning head are removed in a first phase by progressively raising, during the deceleration of the spindle, the thread guide located above the spinning head to a partially elevated intermediate position. In this position, the spinning yarn forms a balloon and is released from the influence of the spinning head.

The second phase, which aims to remove the residual turns, consists in raising the bench supporting the ring from its stop position at the base of the spindle, to a level higher than the level used during spinning . This level is between the top of the tube and the top of the spinning head. In this position, the portion of yarn between the spinning head and the slider approaches the horizontal.

The spindle is then slowly rotated by about one turn in the direction of rotation opposite to that of the spinning, which contributes to causing the yarn to jump above the top of the spinning head and therefore to release it from this member. .

During the spindle turn, the lower part of the wire between the cursor and the base of the spindle can be hooked by the spool and according to the invention the spindle is rotated, after the upper part of the wire has been released from the spinning head, about one turn in the spinning direction of rotation to unhook the lower part of the thread.

Advantageously, the wire guide is then raised to its highest level; in doing so the thread guide is also withdrawn inward from the machine, carrying the thread with it and thereby clearing the passage for the coil removal system.

The coil can then be removed from the spindle by conventional means and replaced by an empty tube.

The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings which show the different phases of the operation of disengaging the turns of yarn from the spinning head. All the phases of this operation will be referred to in the following as depointing.

En se référant aux figures:

  • la figure 1 montre la bobine après la descente du banc d'anneaux et la montée du guide-fil en position intermédiaire (première phase du dépointage);
  • la figure 2 montre la bobine après la montée du banc d'anneaux jusqu'à se position supérieure (début de la deuxième phase);
  • la figure 3 montre la bobine après le tour de broche (suite de la deuxième phase);
Referring to the figures:
  • Figure 1 shows the coil after the descent of the ring bank and the rise of the wire guide in the intermediate position (first phase of the depointing);
  • Figure 2 shows the coil after the ring bank has risen to its upper position (start of the second phase);
  • Figure 3 shows the coil after the spindle turn (continuation of the second phase);
  • Figure 4 shows the spool after the reverse spindle turn and the rise of the wire guide in the high position (end of the second phase).

Figure 1 shows a spindle 3 mounted on the frame 9 of the machine. The spindle 3 extends inside the ring 21 mounted on a bench 2 which moves along the spindle 3. The means of displacement of this bench 2 are electromagnetic; they are conventional in this area and therefore not shown in the figure. The spindle 3 rotates around its axis 24 using a belt 23; the means causing this rotation are also conventional and electromechanical in nature such as a servo motor with chain or pneumatic wheel such as a jack with crankshaft.

At its upper end the spindle 3 has a spinning head 6. The thread 15 from the continuous passes through a thread guide 5, which can oscillate around its axis 14; this axis is controlled by a conventional mechanical system.

Le guide-fil 5 se trouve dans la position d'enroulement de fil, représentée par le chiffre de référence 12.When the winding phase ends and the coil 1 is filled with wire 15 to its upper part, the bench 2 descends directly from the upper part of the spindle to the lower part of the spindle or a few turns 4 of wires are wound. In this position the bench 2 is in its stop position. The wire guide 5 is in the wire winding position, represented by the reference numeral 12.

It takes the position represented by the reference numeral 13, the arrow 25 shows the displacement of the wire guide 5.

The angle 7 formed by the wire with the axis 24 of the spindle (or of the spool) is relatively small.

In the second depointing phase shown in Figures 2, 3 and 4 the following operations are carried out.

Ce déplacement provoque un éloignement substantiel de l'angle 7 formé par le fil et l'axe 24 (Figure 2).First, the ring bank 2 is raised from its stop position at the base of the spindle to a level higher than the highest level reached in spinning. This displacement causes a substantial distance from the angle 7 formed by the wire and the axis 24 (Figure 2).

Le fil se trouve alors dans la position 11, à l'arrière de la broche 3.Then the spindle 3 is rotated about one turn in the opposite direction to the spinning rotation. This operation is represented in FIG. 3. The reference numerals 31 and 32 represent respectively the arrow indicating the rotation of the spindle and the arrow showing the movement of the belt 23. This movement results in the wire jumping over it. of the spinning head 6, and disengage it completely. The wire is then in position 11, at the rear of pin 3.

During the rotation of the spindle 3, the wire in its position 11 may have been hooked by the spool 1 in its part located below the ring 2, which can create an additional breakage of wire during removal coil 1.

In order to avoid this possibility of breakage, the last operation of this phase is carried out which consists in rotating the spindle 3 by about one turn in the direction of spinning rotation, the yarn then completely unhooks from the spool 1 (Figure 4). During this rotation, the thread guide 5 is raised from its partially raised position (shown in FIG. 1 with the reference numeral 13) to a fully raised position. This position is indicated by the reference numeral 17. The numbers 41, 42 and 25 respectively represent the arrow indicating the rotation of the spindle, the arrow showing the movement of the belt 23 and the arrow showing the movement of the thread guide.

La tête de filage 6 ne peut plus reprendre le fil, car celui-ci est maintenu hors de portée de la tête de filage 6 par le guide-fil 5.The spinning head 6 can no longer take up the thread, because the latter is kept out of reach of the spinning head 6 by the thread guide 5.

The coil 1 is then automatically removed from the spindle 3 by conventional gripping means.
