Definitions
- the invention relates to a carrier roller winding machine for winding material webs, in particular paper webs, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
- the invention has for its object to provide a generic support roller winding machine that ensures a quiet winding process even with soft types of paper.
- a counterforce can be set independently of the winding roll diameter.
- the path-independent counterforce is advantageously generated by friction, according to claim 4, an own weight component also acts.
- the damping roller can be made rigid with the smallest possible diameter over large working widths.
- the damping roller is accelerated to the peripheral speed of the winding roller before it comes into contact with the winding roller. This prevents a relative movement when it is applied to the winding roll, which could lead to web breaks.
- two driven support rollers 2, 3 are mounted, on which the winding rollers 4.1, 4.2 rest during winding.
- a traverse 6 extending over the working width is mounted in a height-adjustable manner, on the underside of which a freely rotatable pressure roller 7 is fastened.
- the pressure roller 7 presses on the winding roller 4.1 from above at the beginning of the winding process along the apex line.
- the additional pressing force against the support rollers 2, 3 increases the winding hardness if the dead weight of the rollers 4.1 is not yet sufficient.
- a swivel arm 10 is articulated on both sides of the machine.
- the two swivel arms 10 end at a distance above the support rollers 2, 3. They carry a swivel cross member 11 which extends over the working width and on whose side facing the winding roller 4.1 a damping roller 12 is fastened in a freely rotatable manner.
- the pivot levers 10 are selected so that the damping roller 12 is placed approximately horizontally on a winding roller 4.1 with a still small diameter and can be pivoted back into a rest position outside the area of a full roller 4.2.
- a brake bar 14 is articulated at both ends of the swivel crossmember 11, the free end of which extends approximately horizontally outwards and rests in guides 15 which are fastened on a further crossmember 16 of the frame 1.
- brake calipers 17 Arranged in the guides 15 as friction elements with different pressure are brake calipers 17, which, in conjunction with the brake strips 14 in the manner of a disc brake, oppose the pivoting movement of the damping roller 12 with an adjustable resistance.
- the damping roller 12 is either continuous or - as in the present exemplary embodiment - divided into individually mounted segments of approximately 1 m in length. Each segment is in extensive contact with at least one friction wheel 18.
- the friction wheels 18, which are also freely rotatably and coaxially fastened on the swivel crossbar 11, are arranged in such a way that before the damping roller 12 contacts the growing winding roller 4.1, the friction wheels 18 first come into contact with the pressure roller 7 resting on the winding roller 4.1.
- the friction wheels 18 are thus set in rotation by the pressure roller 7 and accelerate the damping roller 12 to the circumferential speed of the winding roller 4.1, so that no relative movement occurs when it comes into contact with it.
- the friction wheels 18 can be left out if the relative speed when accelerating the damping roller 12 does not lead to any negative effects.
- the damping roller 12 is as light as possible, preferably made of aluminum.
- the support roller winding device works as follows:
- the swivel arms 10 with the damping rollers 12 are pivoted into the position which corresponds to the diameter of the winding roller 4.1 at which the damping effect is to start.
- the desired frictional force on the brake strips 14 is set, that is, the resistance which a movement of the roller 4.1, 4.2 away from the support roller 3 is to be opposed.
- the growing roller 4.1, 4.2 presses the damping roller 12 radially outward against the resistance of the brake caliper 17.
- the resistance can be set to the desired values. It prevents the winding roll 4.1, 4.2 from running restlessly and thus ensures that the winding rolls rest evenly and that the winding process is quiet.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a carrier roller winding machine for winding material webs, in particular paper webs, according to the preamble of
In the generic carrier roll winding machines known from DE-OS 32 07 461, it has been shown in practice that, in particular when winding soft paper types, the winding rolls often become out of round. They therefore tend to jump back and forth between the two support rollers when winding up. This movement leads to a restless winding process. It can increase in a resonance-like manner and then leads to web breaks and, in extreme cases, to the winding rolls jumping out of the roll bed.
The invention has for its object to provide a generic support roller winding machine that ensures a quiet winding process even with soft types of paper.
This object is achieved with the features of
The subclaims contain preferred, since particularly advantageous, embodiments of the invention.
With the feature of
The claims 4 to 6 contain structurally advantageous embodiments of the invention, wherein in the embodiment according to
- Fig. 1 shows roughly schematically the side view of a support roller winding machine according to the invention.
In the
Soweit ist die Doppeltragwalzen-Wickelmaschine bekannt und z. B. in der DE-OS 32 07 461 beschrieben.As far as the double carrier roll winding machine is known and z. B. described in DE-OS 32 07 461.
On an
In addition, a
The
Die erfindungsgemäße Tragwalzen-Wickelvorrichtung arbeitet wie folgt:The support roller winding device according to the invention works as follows:
After the start of the winding process, the
