Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a trapezoidal air outlet box consisting of a cover with a connecting piece, a perforated bottom divided into three sections with a section horizontally arranged at a distance from the connecting piece and two sections which adjoin it laterally and rise to the outside.
Such a device known for generating a displacement flow from DE 36 43 175 A1 has nozzles arranged in rows as outlet openings over the surface of the air outlet box bottom, the center distance of which from one another corresponds to at least three to twelve times the outlet diameter of the nozzles. This device is intended to ensure that a substantially lower air volume flow is sufficient to obtain a stable displacement flow.
For production facilities with intensive dust development, such as in cotton spinning mills, it is advantageous to use air outlets that have a low-turbulence jet characteristic. In this way, the dust in the room should be reduced. If the supply air above the machines is blown out with low turbulence and the exhaust air is extracted near the floor, the low-turbulence air jets displace the dust particles to the floor and relieve the room air from increased dust concentration.
The air outlets previously preferred in such companies are designed in such a way that they generate highly inductive air jets with a long throw. This creates room air rollers that ensure an even temperature and moisture distribution in the room. Due to the increase in performance of the production machines, especially in textile companies, the dust development is so great that the technology of the air rollers, i. H. the highly inductive air jets lead to unpleasant dust concentration, since the dust particles are distributed throughout the production hall.
The invention has for its object to improve the known displacement outlet so that even less dust particles are mixed and distributed with the room air and an even better displacement towards the room floor is achieved, so that the dust concentration in the occupied area decreases further and in particular by the Air flow an upward movement of the dust particles is suppressed.
To solve this problem, an air outlet box of the generic type mentioned in the preamble of
The combination according to the invention, the air outlet cross sections through perforations and Forming swirl outlets gives the following surprising advantage:
The air flow from a large number of small perforations is naturally low in turbulence, the turbulence decreasing with a smaller diameter. An air outlet speed in the range of 0.2 to 2 m / sec can thus be achieved via the perforations. Low-turbulence air jets are unstable at such a low exit speed and tend to fall off quickly. In order to prevent this and to increase the depth of penetration of the air jets, the air outlet box is completed according to the invention by swirl outlets built into it. The air jets from the swirl outlets are highly turbulent per se, but in the air outlet box according to the invention they induce the supply air which emerges from the adjacent perforations and leave the ambient air largely unaffected. The swirl outlets therefore have the task of increasing the stability of the air jet which emerges as a result of the larger jet pulse.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the three sections forming the bottom and the longitudinal side walls of the air outlet box are formed from perforated plates, the holes of which have a diameter of 2 to 15 mm, preferably 3 to 8 mm, the hole spacing being chosen such that the free passage cross-section is 15 to 50%, preferably 20 to 30%, of the perforated plate area.
Preferably, several swirl outlets are each arranged in a row at a uniform distance over the longitudinal extent of the box.
Finally, an embodiment of the invention provides that preferably two baffles are arranged in the interior of the box, each of which can be pivoted about an axis parallel to the longitudinal central axis of the box.
By actuating the guide plates which extend over the entire length of the air outlet box, the proportion of the air volume flow which is blown vertically downward can be changed.
The air outlet according to the invention can either be mounted directly under the ceiling or suspended at a distance from it.
