  2. A stay scissor assembly according to claim 1 characterised in that the actuating member (33) is produced integrally with the locking jaws (17, 18) and the connecting locations (35, 36) are disposed in particular at the outside edges of the locking jaws (17, 18).
  3. A stay scissor assembly according to claim 2 characterised in that the actuating member (33) is of a reduced thickness at the transition (35, 36) into the locking jaws (17, 18).
  4. A stay scissor assembly according to claim 2 or claim 3 characterised in that the actuating member (33) is of a reduced thickness approximately in the middle of the loop configuration.
  5. A stay scissor assembly according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the two locking jaws (17, 18) are connected together by means of a connecting web (19) at their ends remote from the actuating member (33).
  6. A stay scissor assembly according to claim 5 characterised in that the locking jaws (17, 18), the connecting web (19) and the actuating member (33) are integrally made from plastics material.
  7. A stay scissor assembly according to claim 5 or claim 6 characterised in that at its end region which is towards the connecting web (19) each locking jaw (17, 18) has a fixing projection (22, 23) which projects transversely to its plane and which in particular is moulded thereon and which is held rotatably in a fixing bore (25, 26) in the auxiliary link (12).
  8. A stay scissor assembly according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that disposed at the end of each locking jaw (17, 18) which is towards the actuating member is a fixing hook (26, 27) which embraces the end edge (28, 29) of the auxiliary link (12), that is towards the stay arm, and in particular the locking jaws (17, 18) are associated with the surface of the auxiliary link (12), that is remote from the stay arm (9), and that the end edge (28, 29) is convexly curved in the region of each fixing hook (26, 27).
  9. A stay scissor assembly according to claim 8 characterised in that the outside surfaces of the fixing hooks (26, 27) at the same time form an abutment for the actuating member (33) when it is pressed in.
  10. A stay scissor assembly according to one of claims 5 to 9 characterised in that the connecting web (19) extends inclinedly relative to a notional perpendicular transverse axis (40) with respect to the longitudinal axis (39) of the auxiliary link (12), wherein a notional longitudinal axis (38) of the connecting web (19) extends in front of the geometrical axis of the one fixing projection (23) and behind the geometrical axis of the other fixing projection (22).
  11. A stay scissor assembly according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the peripheral groove (14) of the mounting pin (10) is of a sharp-edged configuration and the free end of the mounting pin (10) is bevelled (15).
  12. A stay scissor assembly according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the locking jaws (18, 19) engage with a lunar crescent-like inner region (20, 21) into the peripheral groove (14) in the mounting pin (10).
