Les dimensions du support font que la pièce ne peut être reçue que dans un sens donné et il en résulte, pour certaines pièces, que les chocs s'exercent sur des faces terminées, risquant de détériorer ces dernières. - Apparatus for removing sand from castings and including :- a fixed frame (1),- a mobile frame (2) mounted on the fixed frame (1) so as to be able to vibrate,- a support for the casting (12) from which sand is to be removed and mounted on a mobile frame (2), and- means (9) for vibrating the mobile frame ; wherein the support comprises two plates (10 and 13) between which the casting (12) from which sand is to be removed can be received with clearance (3), one of these plates being fixed with respect to the mobile frame and the other mobile between a pushed-back position in which it is distanced from the casting and an advanced position in which it is in contact with said casting.
- Apparatus for removing sand from castings according to claim 1,
