Description

The invention relates to a board covering, in particular for a liquid-tight and / or acid or alkali-resistant floor, consisting of boards with a polygonal outline, each of which has a flat top and a bottom that can be inserted into an adhesive bed, the joints between adjacent boards also being included the adhesive can be filled from below and / or with its own joint filler from above, and a plurality of elongate ridges with longitudinal axes running in several different directions are formed on the top of each of the plates.

A plate covering of the type mentioned is known from DE-U-87 09 931. In this slab covering, the elevations provided on the slabs are designed as rods, which are aligned at an angle to the edges of the floor tile, the rods being arranged in parallel rows of rods and adjacent rows of rods having rods with opposite angular orientation.

It is considered disadvantageous in this known plate covering that the rods only have two different longitudinal directions, as a result of which the increased slip resistance that can be achieved becomes highly directional and is not equally good in all directions. In addition, the teaching of this prior art cannot be readily applied to a hexagonal plate Transfer the plate covering, since the orientation of the elevations in the plate according to the document mentioned is based on its outer contour lines, only a square contour shape being shown here.

Another plate covering is known from EP-A-0 340 598. This plate covering, which is particularly suitable for a liquid-tight and / or acid or alkali-resistant floor and wall lining, consists of plates with a polygonal outline, each of which has a flat top, a flat or structured underside inserted in an adhesive bed and essentially Have plate flanks running perpendicular to the top. The flanks of adjacent panels limit joints which are also filled with the adhesive from below and / or with their own joint filling compound from above. The flanks of the panels are provided with a structuring that increases the surface area and allows the adhesive or joint filler to pass through the joint. This structuring consists of a multiplicity of depressions or projections arranged directly next to one another, which have longitudinal axes parallel to one another and essentially perpendicular to the top of the plate.

With this known plate covering, a very firm bond between adjacent plates is achieved, but due to the flat top of the plates, the slip resistance when walking on or driving over the plate covering is not sufficient in all cases.

The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a plate covering of the type mentioned, the plates are formed on their top so that regardless of the presence of oily or moist or silty deposits on these a sufficient slip resistance when walking or driving on the plate surface is guaranteed.

To achieve the object, a slab of the type mentioned is proposed according to the invention, which is characterized in that
  • that the top of each plate is divided into several mutually identical sectors with regard to the arrangement of the elevations,
  • that the number of sectors is equal to the number of corners of the plate,
  • that the boundaries between the sectors are formed by straight lines extending from the center of the plate and running through the corners of the plate,
  • that within each sector the increases are arranged in mirror image to the sector bisector and
  • that the longitudinal axes of the elevations within each sector run at different angles to the straight lines delimiting the respective sector.

The plate covering according to the invention advantageously offers excellent slip resistance when being walked on by people and when driving on vehicles such as forklifts. Because of the tightness and durability that can also be achieved with the plate covering according to the invention, it can be used in a variety of ways, for example in all fields of application of acid protection construction, acid protection technology and surface protection technology. The areas of the food and beverage industry and the chemical industry should be mentioned in particular. There, the plate coverings are suitable, among other things, for collecting tanks and generally wherever chemically resistant and / or sealed floor and wall coverings are required. Furthermore, the tile covering according to the invention can be used in the entire field of application of industrial construction and in the kitchen and slaughterhouse area. The tile covering is also used in private applications can be used, for example, for balconies, patios, baths and swimming pools, ie wherever the tile covering comes into contact with moisture or liquids.

75 : 1 bzw. 112 : 1 liegt.A preferred embodiment of the plate covering according to the invention provides that the ratio between the length of the plate on the top of the plate from one corner of the plate through the center of the plate to the opposite corner of the plate and the length or width or height of the elevations on the other hand is in the range 14: 1 or 75: 1 or 112: 1.

Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the elongated elevations have cross-sectional shapes which avoid sharp-edged corners and have rounded edges. This ensures in particular that the edges of the ridges cannot be pushed off.

As FIG. 1 of the drawing shows, the exemplary embodiment of the plate covering shown here consists of a number of polygonal plates 2 with a contour, of which one plate 2 is shown completely. The adjacent further plates 2 are only indicated in sections.

The plates 2 each have a flat upper side 3 in their basic shape and an underside 5 which is not visible here and is inserted into an adhesive bed. The flanks of adjacent panels 2 delimit joints 6, which are also filled with the adhesive from below and / or with their own joint filler from above.

A plurality of elongate elevations 7 with longitudinal axes running in different directions are formed on the top 3 of each of the plates 2.

As can also be seen from FIG. 1, the top side 3 of the plate 2 is divided into several, here six, sectors 11 by imaginary lines 8 running from the center point 17 through the corners 16, shown here in broken lines. The arrangement of the elevations 7 is repeated identically from sector 11 to sector 11. Within each sector 11, the elevations are arranged mirror-symmetrically to an imaginary bisector 8 ', also shown in dash-dot lines.

Figur 2 der Zeichnung zeigt anhand eines einzelnen Sektors 11 der Platte 2 diese spiegelbildliche symmetrische Anordnung der Erhöhungen 7 besonders deutlich.FIG. 2 of the drawing shows this mirror-image symmetrical arrangement of the elevations 7 particularly clearly on the basis of a single sector 11 of the plate 2.

Furthermore, FIGS. 1 and 2 show that the sectors 11 in the hexagonal plate 2 shown here each occupy an angular range of 60 °, so that a full circle of 360 ° results when six identical sectors 11 are combined.

The plate flanks 13 present on the six outline sides 4 are each formed with rectangular projections 14 and between these rectangular recesses 15 which are aligned with the same projections 14 'or recesses 15' of adjacent plates 2. In the gaps 6 formed by the thus structured panel flanks 13 between the adjacent panels 2, adhesive can rise from below from the adhesive bed or a separate joint filler can be introduced from above, which firmly encloses the panels 2 on all sides on the flanks 13 and thus seal them together connects.

In the partial cross section through the plate 2 shown in FIG. 3, several of the elevations 7 can be seen on the upper side 3; one of the projections 14 is visible on the plate flank 13 pointing to the left. The underside 5 of the plate 2 is smooth.

In the view shown in FIG. 4, the plate flank 13 faces the viewer and the projections 14 lying on the flank 13 and running parallel to one another and intervening depressions 15 are visible. On the top 3 of the plate 2, the elevations 7, which ensure good slip resistance, are again visible; the underside 5 of the plate 2 can be seen below.

The enlarged representation of a section of the upper side 3 of a plate 2 with a single elevation 7 shown in FIG. 5 shows that the latter is designed with rounded ends. In addition, the longitudinal axis 10 of the elevation 7 is shown in this illustration.

75 : 1 bzw. 112 : 1.Finally, the sectional representations in FIGS. 6 and 7 show that the elevation 7 has rounded edges 12 that avoid sharp corners as seen in longitudinal section and in cross section. In addition, typical ratios of length L to height H and width B of the elevation 7 can be seen in FIGS. The ratio between the length of the straight line 8 running on the top 3 of the plate 2 from one corner 16 to the opposite corner 16 on the one hand and the length L or the width B or the height H of the elevations 7 on the other hand lies in the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG Magnitude 14: 1 or 75: 1 or 112: 1.
