Definitions
- the invention consists of a ceiling cladding with a grid of longitudinal beams with an upper and a lower flange on both sides and with arranged above the longitudinal beams and connected to them, cross beams with a lower one-sided flange grid from individual grid fields, in each of which a plate is suspended, the has the same and small distances on all sides to the neighboring panels and is provided with suspension elements, with the help of which it can be hung in the associated grid and locked in place.
- Ceiling cladding of this type must be easy to install, plate by plate. There is some difficulty in completing the assembly of the ceiling panel when the last panel needs to be inserted. Since the space above the ceiling cladding is then no longer freely accessible, resilient detents can be provided, for example, which allow the last plate to be hung on one side, pivoted about this side and finally locked in its final position.
- the invention has for its object to ensure in a ceiling covering of the type mentioned that any plate, including the last, can be installed and removed without difficulty.
- the simple construction of the ceiling cladding should be retained, in particular the suspension elements should consist of simple folding profiles, and the handling both during installation and removal should be extremely simple. It is understood that the arrangement must be made so that you can finish or start with any plate during installation and removal. Finally, it must be ensured that the gap between the panels is minimal, and that each individual panel is securely locked in the two axial directions of the longitudinal and cross members.
- the object is achieved with the help of the features specified in the main claim.
- the object is achieved in a surprisingly simple manner by the invention. So no additional components are required, in particular compared to known constructions. On the contrary, the hanging elements for the panels can be simplified.
- the construction of the longitudinal and cross members is compared to the stand technology has not been changed.
- the recesses in the side walls of the plates required according to the invention do not require any additional effort and are taken into account when designing the associated cutting or folding tool.
- the lock which now forms a previously non-existent second end face of the plate, can be produced as a separate component and connected in a simple manner to the side cheeks of the plate; but it is also conceivable that the locking device is divided into two and consists of short connecting pieces which are formed in one piece with the side cheeks. In general, the design of both the hanging tabs and the locking device can be changed to a large extent without departing from the invention.
- a ceiling covering according to the invention initially consists, according to FIG. 1, of a system of side members 1 and cross members 2, which are connected to one another in a manner which is customary in the art and not shown in the drawing; in this way they form a rectangular grid.
- the longitudinal members 1 have a profile according to Figure 4, which consists of a web 11 and in one piece with it from a lower flange 12 and an upper flange 13; both flanges 12; 13 can be provided in the manner shown in Figure 4 with folded guide or stiffening strips.
- the L-shaped cross members 2 are, according to FIGS. 3 to 5, composed in one piece from a vertical web 21 and a folded horizontal flange 22. They are fastened with the aid of screw connections 4 (FIG. 5) to suspension elements 3, which in turn are rigidly integrated in the building ceiling, not shown.
- the actual ceiling cladding is formed by plates 5, of which only the frame made of sheet metal or the like necessary for understanding is shown in the drawing.
- Two mirror-image side cheeks 51 form the boundary of the respective plate 5 to the longitudinal beams 1; for stiffening flanges are flanged in a conventional manner on the side cheeks.
- a first end face 52 (FIG. 5) adjoins the two side cheeks 51; here it is designed as a simple vertical web, which is folded from the base plate.
- the end face opposite the end face 52 is formed by a locking device 56 which consists of a vertical web plate 561 and there is a bevelled flange 562.
- the support flange 562 is arranged so that it rests on the flange 22 of the cross member 2 in the installed state of the plate.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 recesses 53 can be seen in the side cheeks 51; In the area of the side cheeks 51 that have remained standing, hook-in tabs 55 are attached by means of a welded connection 551.
- the shape of the hanging tabs 55 can be seen particularly well in FIG. They are (FIG. 2) flat web plates 552, the longitudinal oval circumference of which consists of two parallel edges which are connected to one another by semicircular arches. From FIG. 3 in conjunction with FIG. 4, it can be readily seen that an axle bolt 553 in the center of the semicircle on the left in FIG. 3a on the circumference of the web plate 552 by means of a double spot weld, which forms the welded connection 551, both with the region 57 of the side cheeks 51 and is rigidly connected to the web plate 552.
- FIGS. 2a and 2b The mode of operation of the arrangement can be followed most easily with reference to FIGS. 2a and 2b.
- Figure 2a the three drawn plates 5 are hung ready for use. Each plate 5 is positively locked on three sides. Both side walls strike ( Figure 5) on the side members 1; a displacement of the plates 5 to the left (FIG. 3a) is also not possible because the web plates 561 rest on the flanges 22 of the cross members 2. Only a slight displacement of the plates 5 by the distance d to the next web plate 561 would be possible if joint tapes 565 are not used which fill the gap and fix the plates against one another in the assembled state. If the joint tapes were omitted, the displacement by the distance d would not be sufficient to disengage the catch 56 from the flange 22, so that the plate 5 can not be dismantled in this way.
- FIG. 2b The removal of a plate 5 is shown in Figure 2b instead.
- the middle plate should be removed from the ceiling cladding.
- the plate 5 adjoining on the right is pivoted clockwise around an axis of rotation D2 until the catch 56 of the middle plate 5 disengages from the associated flange 22 of the cross member 2 and this plate 5 now rotates around the pivot point D1 of its suspension bracket 55 in Counterclockwise is freely pivotable so that it can now assume the position shown in Figure 3b.
- a grid is thus opened without violence and without further difficulties.
- the construction of the hanging tabs 55 can be carried out in a proven manner so that the plate 5 can be unhooked in this position.
- the assembly of the ceiling cladding is carried out in the reverse order, but in principle does not differ from the disassembly.
- the shape of the recess 53 is entirely arbitrary; their dimensions only have to ensure that the locking device 56 disengages before the side cheeks 51 strike the webs 21 of the cross members 2. Furthermore, they must allow a pivoting movement of the plate 5 about the pivot point D2 to such an extent that the plate 5 located on the left thereof can be shifted to the right to such an extent that the locking device 56 is released.

Abstract
Description
The invention consists of a ceiling cladding with a grid of longitudinal beams with an upper and a lower flange on both sides and with arranged above the longitudinal beams and connected to them, cross beams with a lower one-sided flange grid from individual grid fields, in each of which a plate is suspended, the has the same and small distances on all sides to the neighboring panels and is provided with suspension elements, with the help of which it can be hung in the associated grid and locked in place.
Ceiling cladding of this type must be easy to install, plate by plate.
Known ceiling claddings of this type have the disadvantage that it is complex and difficult in particular to attach the first panel to the panel assembly or to insert the last panel. It is often necessary to remove all of the panels from the edge until the desired panel can be removed.
The invention has for its object to ensure in a ceiling covering of the type mentioned that any plate, including the last, can be installed and removed without difficulty. The simple construction of the ceiling cladding should be retained, in particular the suspension elements should consist of simple folding profiles, and the handling both during installation and removal should be extremely simple. It is understood that the arrangement must be made so that you can finish or start with any plate during installation and removal. Finally, it must be ensured that the gap between the panels is minimal, and that each individual panel is securely locked in the two axial directions of the longitudinal and cross members.
According to the invention, the object is achieved with the help of the features specified in the main claim.
Particularly advantageous refinements of the invention are set out in the subclaims.
The object is achieved in a surprisingly simple manner by the invention. So no additional components are required, in particular compared to known constructions. On the contrary, the hanging elements for the panels can be simplified. The construction of the longitudinal and cross members is compared to the stand technology has not been changed. In general, the design of both the hanging tabs and the locking device can be changed to a large extent without departing from the invention.
A ceiling covering according to the invention initially consists, according to FIG. 1, of a system of
The L-
The actual ceiling cladding is formed by
In FIGS. 2 and 3, recesses 53 can be seen in the
The mode of operation of the arrangement can be followed most easily with reference to FIGS. 2a and 2b. In Figure 2a, the three drawn
The removal of a
The invention is by no means limited to the exemplary embodiment described, rather numerous modifications of the construction are conceivable without leaving the scope of protection of the invention. For example, the shape of the
