Keiner der Vorhalte gibt dem Passagier die Möglichkeit, in der Naßzelle auch duschen zu können. In vorteilhafter Weise sind die Absperrarmaturen so ausgeführt, daß sie beim Absperren der Ver- bzw. Entsorgung des Handwaschbeckens 8 und bzw. oder der WC-Muschel 9 gleichzeitig auch das Handwaschbecken 8 bzw. die WC-Muschel 9 im hochgeklappten Zustand verriegeln. Diese Anordnung der Verriegelung macht das Abklappen eines gestörten Teiles der sanitären Anlagen durch den Reisenden unmöglich und ist vorzugsweise so getroffen, daß die Teilbenützbarkeit vom Handwaschbecken 8 und bzw. oder der WC-Muschel 9 aufrechtbleibt. Hiebei besteht die Möglichkeit der Zusammenfassung beider benachbarter WC-Einheiten in bezug auf Entsorgung. Bei einer Vakuumentsorgung können in diesem Falle beide WC-Muscheln 9 an ein gemeinsames Vakuumsystem angeschlossen sein, welches im Bedarfsfalle entweder die eine oder die andere Muschel entsorgt. Für seltene Fälle, in denen beide Muscheln gleichzeitig benützt und die Benützer der beiden Muscheln den Druckknopf, Hebel od. dgl. für die Entsorgung gleichzeitig betätigen, ist ein Verzögerungsschalter vorgesehen, welcher die Entsorgung der einen der beiden Muscheln erst nach Entsorgung der anderen Muschel einleitet. Eine derartige Verzögerung kann beispielsweise 30 sek sein. Die Türen 18,19 sind vorzugsweise im Anschluß an die Versorgungswand 12 auf der einen bzw. anderen Seite derselben vorgesehen. Jede der beiden Naßzellen 4 bzw. 5 kann vom zugehörigen Schlafwagenabteil 2 bzw. 1 durch eine eigene Tür 22 bzw. 23 betreten werden, wobei ein Sperrschalter für die Türen ebenfalls in der Service- bzw. A sleeping car compartment having a sanitary unit according to claim 1, characterised in that the supply wall (12) adjoins a corridor (17), from which the compartments (1, 2) are entered, and has a cavity accessible from the said corridor (17), shut-off devices for supplying and/or for removing waste from the hand basin (8) and the WC bowl (9) being housed in the said cavity at least.
  4. A sleeping car compartment having a sanitary unit according to claim 1, characterised in that the sanitary units (4, 5) of two adjacent sleeping car compartments (1, 2) are arranged side by side and joined to form a prefabricated unit, which can be installed from the corridor (17), and are provided with a common supply wall (12).
  5. A sleeping car compartment having a sanitary unit according to claim 3, characterised in that a locking switch for the door or doors (22, 23) leading from the sleeping car compartment or compartments (1, 2) into the sanitary units (4, 5) is also provided in the cavity of the supply wall (12).
  6. A sanitary unit according to claim 3, characterised in that a locking device for securing the hand basin (8) and/or the WC bowl (9), preferably in the tilted-up state, is provided in the cavity of the supply wall (12).
  7. A sanitary unit according to claim 3, characterised in that the shut-off device for supplying and for removing waste from the hand basin and the WC bowl is simultaneously also formed as a locking device for the downward tilting of the hand basin (8) and/or the WC bowl (9).
  8. A sanitary unit according to claim 1, characterised in that at least part of the supply wall (12) is formed in one piece, optionally with the intermediate wall (3) between the adjacent sanitary units, from plastics, e.g. glass-fibre-reinforced plastics or thermosetting plastics, the said wall part extending over the entire height and width of the sanitary units (4, 5) and facing into the sanitary unit.
  9. A sleeping car compartment having a sanitary unit according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a supply and waste disposal duct (26) is provided below the supply wall (12) and extends over at least part of one or both sanitary units (4, 5) and is preferably accessible from the corridor (17) on removal of part of the supply wall (12) on the corridor side.
  10. A sleeping car compartment having a sanitary unit according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterised in that, when two sanitary units (4, 5) are provided, both WC bowls (9) are connected to a common vacuum waste disposal installation, a delay switch optionally being provided which, when the disposal of waste from both WC bowls (9) is actuated simultaneously, delays the disposal of waste from one of the two until the waste has been removed from the other.
