Description

The present invention relates to a locking device according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Such a locking device is known for roman blinds from DE-A 35 44 540. The locking effect occurs here only in a certain swivel position or it is only effective when the slat armor is closed. In the case of Roman blinds, however, a blocking effect is desired not only in the case of complete darkening (closed position), but also in the case of slats that are more or less inclined.

The present invention has for its object to design a locking device of the type mentioned that it secures the store against unauthorized lifting regardless of the pivoting position of the slats. According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

  • Fig. 3 einen Schnitt längs der Linie 111-111 in Fig. 4,
The invention is explained, for example, with the aid of the attached schematic drawing. Show it:
  • 1 is a view of a closed Raffiamellenstore or folding roller shutter from the outside,
  • 2 shows a section along the line 11-11 in Fig. 1 in an enlarged view,
  • 3 shows a section along the line 111-111 in FIG. 4,
  • Fig. 4 shows the same representation as Fig. 2 in a different operating position of the store and
  • Fig. 5 is a view in the direction of arrow V in Fig. 2, with the side guide is omitted.

The basic structure of a slat blind or a folding blind is described with reference to FIG. 1. It has two side guides 1 which are attached to the reveal 2 of the window opening. The side guides 1 essentially have a U-shaped cross-sectional profile, the leg ends being angled toward one another and forming a vertical guide slot. The slat curtain consists of horizontal slats 3. the bottom with axially stub 4 in the guide slots of the side guides 1 vertically slidably mounted. The elevator shaft 6 with the two elevator drums 7 is rotatably mounted in a recess 5 above the window opening in the masonry. It can be driven by conventional drive means, not shown. The elevator belts 8 that can be wound on the elevator drums 7 are guided in the lateral guides 1 to the lowest slat, which is suspended indirectly (i.e. via weight and guide body).

A locking device is provided in each side guide 1. These are identical, so that only one of them is described. The locking device essentially has a guide body 9, a weight body 10 and a locking body 22, which are guided in the side guide 1 so as to be vertically displaceable.

The guide body 9 is designed like a housing. Two parallel side walls 11 are connected by three transverse walls 12, 13, 14. The side walls 11 form with the transverse wall 13 a circular section. Support 15 for the stub axle 4. The transverse wall 12 is provided with a resilient tongue 16 directed against the support 15 which holds the stub axle 4 on the support 15. The stub axle 4 is introduced into the support 15 by pressing it between the transverse wall 13 and the tongue 16. This deviates outward until the stub axle 4 rests on the support 15. In this position, the tongue springs back and holds it on the support 15. The mutually spaced transverse walls 13 and 14 form a slot 17, through which the elevator belt 8 is guided and fastened to the weight body 10 with the free lower end. The side walls 11 also form, with the transverse wall 14 and a transverse web 18, a chamber 19 which is opened downwards against the weight body 10 by means of an opening 20. This chamber 19 is also open to the side guide 1. The transverse wall 14 is provided with two ribs 21 which converge downward with the wall of the side guide 1 facing and the inclined surfaces of which are provided with a hard, preferably metallic coating 24. In this chamber 19, a cylindrical locking body 22 is freely movable, which is spaced in an upper end position from at least one of the two walls 1 and 14, 21 so that there is no frictional contact, whereas in a lower end position it has frictional engagement with both walls .

As an extension of the side walls 11 downward, the guide body 9 is further provided with two guide fingers 23. Between these guide fingers 23, the weight body 10 is mounted so as to be vertically displaceable, the guide fingers 23 being located in corresponding recesses on the weight body 10. The weight body assumes an upper end position shown in FIG. 4 and a lower end position shown in FIG. 2. In the upper end position it lies against the lower end faces of the walls 11 to 14 of the guide body 9, whereas its lower end position does not require any limitation and is determined by the on-site conditions. An upwardly directed cam 25 of the weight body 10 extends through the opening 20. If the weight body 10 assumes the upper end position, the cam 25 pushes the locking body 22 upwards to such an extent that it is out of frictional contact with at least one of the two converging surfaces 1 and 14, 21, respectively. In a lower end position of the weight body 10, the cam 25 is withdrawn from the chamber 19 to such an extent that the locking body 22 is in frictional engagement with both converging surfaces. If a vertically upward force acts on the stub axle 4 in this lower end position of the weight body 10, the guide body 9 cannot be pushed up because of the frictional engagement of the locking body 22. This is independent of the rotational position of the stub axle 4. The coating 24 prevents plastic deformation of the ribs 21, so that the locking body can be pushed out of its locking position even after a prolonged load.

During the lifting and lowering of the store, the guide body 9 and thus the weight of the slatted curtain rests on the weight body 10. The cam 25 reaches far into the chamber 19 and lifts the locking body 22 out of its locked position. If the store reaches the lowest position during the lowering, the weight body 10 moves further downward, as a result of which the cam 25 moves the locking body 22 into the locking position. It is now no longer possible to raise the slat blind regardless of the swivel position of the slats.

As soon as the slat armor is completely lowered, the weight body 10 begins to slide down between the guide fingers 23 until the elevator belt is unwound from the elevator drum 7. The elevator belt is constantly stretched due to the weight.
