Description

  • c) Anschleifen der Schneidkante(n) in diesem Randbereich des Bandstahls,
  • d) Ablängen der einzelnen Wendemesser von dem endlosen Bandstahl an den Ablänglinien.

Bisher wurden die Rundungen per Hand oder mittels einer Schleifmaschine angebracht, wobei jedes Messer einzeln eingelegt und geschliffen werden mußte, was bei einem Massenartikel, von dem Hunderttausende hergestellt werden, sehr aufwendig ist und hohe Kosten verursacht. Der erfindungs­gemäße Herstellungsvorgang kann demgegenüber ohne großen Aufwand in dem allgemeinen Herstellungsprozeß integriert werden, wobei der Press- und/oder Quetschvorgang beispiels­weise zusammen mit Stanzvorgängen durchgeführt werden kann, mit dem z.B. die Löcher für die Aufnahmestifte in die Wende­messer eingestanzt werden. Hierzu sei angemerkt, daß die konvexe Ausbildung einer Schneide eines Wendemessers sich grundsätzlich auch mittels einer Richtmaschine anbringen läßt. Die Krümmung der Schneiden wird dabei erfindungsgemäß von der Form und der Andrückkraft der Stempel bestimmt. Verfahren zum Herstellen von Wendemessern, insbesondere zur Verwendung in Handhobelgeräten und/oder Hobelmaschinen, bei dem ein endloser Bandstahl gehärtet wird und nach dem Härten an mindestens einer seiner beiden Längsseiten eine Schneidkante angeschliffen erhält, bevor die einzelnen Wende­messer abgelängt werden, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Ver­fahrensschritte in dieser Reihenfolge: a) Anbringen von V-förmigen Prägungen (7, 8, 9, 10) mittels eines Preß- und/oder Quetschvorganges auf der späteren Ablänglinie (5, 6) im Bereich der Schneidkante(n) (13, 14), b) Härten des endlosen Bandstahles (1), eventuell nur in dem für die spätere(n) Schneidkante(n) (13, 14) vorgesehenen Randbereich, c) Anschleifen der Schneidkante(n) (13, 14) an den endlosen Bandstahl (1), d) Ablängen der einzelnen Wendemesser (2, 3, 4) von dem endlosen Bandstahl (1) an den Ablänglinien (5, 6). 1.
