Abstract

The pneumatic dust-removing apparatus for yarn-supply carriers and thread-guide members of textile machines is characterised by filter-mesh walls, by means of which a dust-forming region is screened off completely or partially from the outside and through which the dust-laden air is conveyed out of the dust-forming region. The retention of fibres and fluff in the filter-mesh walls can be assisted by an electrical charging of these walls. …<IMAGE>…

Description

The invention relates to a device for the pneumatic dedusting of yarn bobbins and thread guiding elements of textile machines, with at least one blower air flow in the dust forming area causing the yarn bobbins and thread guiding elements, or a blower nozzle.

In the processing of yarns and threads, the occurrence of fiber fly is inevitable as soon as the yarn or thread is drawn off from the thread supply bobbin or passed over thread guide elements. Loose fibers are released during the thread run-off or fibers detached during the thread guide. Numerous dedusting devices have already been proposed in order to protect the textile machines and their associated devices from contamination and the operating personnel from nuisance caused by fiber fly been. Devices in which the fibers are first blown off from machine parts to be kept clear and then sucked off into a filter device have the best effect. However, such devices have the disadvantage that they are very complex and the area to be dedusted should be limited by solid walls. This effort is justified in the immediate area of the yarn processing stations, for example on knitting machines, but less so on upstream additional devices, such as yarn storage bins, which are noticeably more expensive due to such a dedusting device.

The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it requires only relatively little effort, but nevertheless results in adequate dedusting of the additional devices and protection of adjacent devices against dusting.

The stated object is achieved according to the invention with the above-mentioned device in that the dust formation area on its periphery is at least partially delimited by at least one filter grid wall, against which the blowing air stream emerging from the dust formation area is directed. The filter grid wall can advantageously be arranged transversely to the blown air flow.

In a device designed according to the invention, the yarn supply carriers and subsequent thread guide members are blown off in a manner known per se, for. B. kept clean by means of fans. The blown-off fibers are held onto simple filter grid walls, however does not require an expensive construction, can be easily adapted to different structural conditions and from which the fibers can be easily vacuumed with a vacuum cleaner or brushed off in a separate dust collection room. The particular advantage of the device is that the dust formation area does not have to be delimited by solid walls, which would make it difficult to operate the yarn supply carriers and thread guide elements to be dusted. In the case of a device according to the present invention, the filter grid walls can consist, for example, of a plurality of filter grid webs which can be displaced in a curtain-like manner and overlap one another, which are arranged in a hanging manner and which, if necessary, can also be easily pushed aside.

With an inexpensive dedusting device according to the invention, it is also possible, for example, to shield only certain areas from fiber fly, for example individual knitting machines from yarn stands arranged adjacent to one another. Such yarn stands are often blown off by fans mounted on moving supports, and here only sections of the periphery of such bobbin grids, in which operators are located or on which a textile machine is located, can be shielded by filter grid walls according to the invention. The filter grid can expediently consist of an electrically chargeable plastic material, which exerts an additional attraction on the fiber flight. However, the filter grid can also consist of metal wire and be applied to a voltage potential which favors the holding of the attached fibers. Experiments have shown, however, that the filter grids can also be charged without being roughened Keep the surface of the blown fiber fly well and that the fiber fly can be easily vacuumed afterwards.

Exemplary embodiments of dedusting devices designed according to the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing.

Fig. 1 shows schematically a circular knitting machine 10 and a creel 11 placed next to it in a known circular design. In the center of the creel 11, a tube 13 filled with blowing nozzles 12 is aligned vertically and arranged rotatably by an electric motor 14, into which compressed air is introduced. By means of the blowing nozzles 12, the bobbins 15 arranged in the bobbin stand 11, from which the thread 16 is drawn through a thread guide tube 17 to the circular knitting machine 10, are freed from dust and loose fibers which are blown away radially outward from the bobbin stand 11. In order to protect the circular knitting machine 10 from this fiber fly, a screen wall 18 made of a filter grid 19 is arranged between the circular knitting machine and the bobbin stand 11 in the exemplary embodiment shown. It can be a flat screen wall, in which the filter grid is clamped in a support frame which rests on feet. The filter grid wall 18 can also be curved in accordance with the rounding of the periphery of the bobbin stand 11 or the knitting machine 10 and can be suspended from an upper support frame (not shown).

Fig. 4 shows a corner region of a flexible filter grid 19 woven from plastic wires or from metal wires, which is provided with an upper support strip 20, in which rings 21 can be anchored for hanging the filter grid wall.

Die Filtergitterbahnen 23 lassen sich nach Betriebsschluß oder bei Schichtwechsel leicht mittels eines Staubsaugers reinigen.2 and 3 show in side view and in plan view, in turn, a round creel 11 ', which has circumferential blowing nozzles 12' for cleaning the yarn packages 15 '. Instead of the blow nozzles 12 'rotating fans could also be used. The creel 11 'is provided with upper annular support rails 22, one of which is shown in Fig. 2, on which in two concentric ring planes on the outside of the coil gates 11 'over the entire circumference of the creel several filter grid webs 23 can be moved like a curtain and are mutually overlapping suspended. The filter grid sheets 23 are weighted on their underside with a weight bar 24 or are attached to rails. The from the rotating blow nozzles 12 'in a dust-forming area circular gate 11' from the spools 15 'and the threads 16' they are drawn off radially to the outside blown fibers hang on the filter mesh webs 23 through which the blown air flows outwards. The filter grid sheets 23 can be easily cleaned by a vacuum cleaner after the end of operation or when changing shifts.

Die Filtergitterhaube kann auch so konstruiert sein, daß an ihrem Tragrahmen die das Spulengatter 11˝ seitlich abschirmenden Filtergitterbahnen 23′ aufgehängt sind.5 shows, a coil creel 11ul can also be provided on its upper side by means of a light filter grille hood 25, in which the filter grille is stretched over a light tubular frame (not shown). The filter grille hood 25 can be composed of several parts, for example of two halves, in order to facilitate the removal required for cleaning. The filter grille hood can also be constructed so that the filter frame 11 'laterally shielding the filter grating sheets 23' are suspended from their support frame.

The filter grid walls of the dedusting device can be adapted in size and shape to all possible dimensions of the dust formation area to be shielded entirely or partially from the outside. In the case of rectilinear coil gates, corresponding rectilinear filter grid walls are accordingly used. The filter grid walls can by connecting to an electrical device, not shown, or in the case of plastic material, by a multiple rubbing are provided with an electrical charge, which favors the sticking of the blown fiber flight.
