Hiebei ist es bekannt, die Beizsäure beispielsweise bodenseitig einzudüsen, um einen Auftrieb zu erzielen, durch welchen das Band auch an der Unterseite mit frischer Beizsäure versorgt wird und durch den Beizbehälter geführt wird. Der Beizbehälter ist üblicherweise durch einen Deckel abgeschlossen, welcher gemäß der DE-OS 30 00 408 badseitig mit in das Beizbad tauchenden kastenförmigen Einbauten versehen sein kann, um die Badoberfläche zu reduzieren und damit den Energieverbrauch zu verringern, welcher zum größten Teil durch die Verdampfung der Beizsäure verursacht wird. Um den Tauchdeckel gegen Beschädigungen durch das Band zu schützen, sind Schleißrippen vorgesehen, welche auf der badseitigen Oberfläche der Einbauten quer zur Bewegungsrichtung des Bandes verlaufen. Während des Betriebes von Schubbeizen hat sich gezeigt, daß vor allem der einlaufende Bandanfang bei höheren Durchlaufgeschwindigkeiten des Bandes durch peitschenartiges Aufstellen Beschädigungen des Deckels verursachen kann. Abquetschrollenpaar 8 (Fig. 3) vorgesehen sein kann, zwischen dem das Band 10 durchläuft und vom Großteil der Beizsäure befreit wird. Hiebei sind die beiden Walzen 8', 8" des Abquetschrollenpaares 8 gegeneinander versetzt angeordnet, derart, daß die obere Walze 8' in der Durchschubrichtung des Bandes 10 gesehen, hinter der unteren Walze 8" gelegen ist und welche zur Trennung der Beizflüssigkeiten der einzelnen Sektionen mit einer Dichtlippe 13 versehen ist. Mindestens eine der beiden Abquetschwalzen kann angetrieben sein. Durch diese Trennung der Flüssigkeiten in den einzelnen Sektionen wird sich eine unterschiedliche Eisen- und Säurekonzentration in der Form einstellen, daß in der ersten Beizsektion der höchste Eisengehalt in die kleinste freie Säurekonzentration und in der letzten Sektion die kleinste Eisen- und höchste Säurekonzentration vorhanden ist. Dadurch wird die Beizzeit wesentlich verkürzt. Diese Bandseitenführungen besitzen, wie den Fig. 5 und 7 zu entnehmen ist, zwei gegenläufige Wagen 16, 16', von welchen jeder auf zwei Rollenpaaren 17 bzw. 17' läuft, die in Führungen 18 geführt sind, wobei jeder Wagen eine Zahnstange 19 bzw. 19' trägt, welche mit einem gemeinsam in der Längsmittelachse gelegenen Zahnrad kämmen und dadurch eine synchronisierte Bewegung der beiden Wagen 16, 16' sichert. Jeder der beiden Wagen 16 bzw. 16' ist an einen hydraulischen Zylinder 21 bzw. 21' angeschlossen, welche die Wagen 16 bzw. 16' zueinander bzw. gegeneinander bewegen. Im Hinblick auf das Zahnrad 20 ist es auch möglich, daß der eine Zylinder 21 die Wagen 16, 16' zueinander und der andere Zylinder 21' die Wagen voneinander bewegt oder umgekehrt. Jeder der beiden Wagen 16, 16' trägt an der Unterseite einen Träger 22, 22', welcher mit einer Platte 23, 23" aus säurebeständigem Material, vorzugsweise aus keramischem, verschleißfestem Material, besteht, welche an den Bandanfang herangebracht wird, um diesen zu zentrieren. Claims (7)

1.
