Definitions
- the invention relates to a security lock for double-bit keys with a bolt guided on the lock bottom and a tumbler package mounted on the bolt, the bolt having an elongated hole for the tour pin, an elongated hole for the tumbler bearing mandrel and a recess for the key drive beard.
- the invention has for its object to increase the security against manipulation of security locks by constructive measures and to prevent the bolt from striking back.
- the lock bolt has a rectangular recess in the area of the recess, in that a rectangular protective plate made of tough material is slidably mounted in this recess relative to the bolt, that this protective plate has a keyhole matched to the bolt drive type and that the protective plate has a circular opening through which the housing-fixed tumbler bearing pin extends.
- the lock bolt is designated 1, which is slidably mounted on the lock base 2.
- the bolt has a cutout 1a for the drive type of the key.
- the bolt 1 has a rectangular recess 1b on its top, in which a rectangular protective plate 3 is slidably mounted.
- This protective plate 3 is preferably made of tough manganese steel. The thickness of the protective plate 3 is chosen so that it does not protrude beyond the level of the bolt 1. No additional overall height is therefore required for installing the protective plate 3. 5 with a key arbor is riveted to the lock base 2.
- Fig. 2 shows the bolt 1 from above with the recess 1a and the recess 1b for the protective plate 3.
- 1c denotes an elongated hole through which a tumbler bearing mandrel connected to the lock base 2 extends.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a security lock for double-bit keys with a bolt guided on the lock bottom and a tumbler package mounted on the bolt, the bolt having an elongated hole for the tour pin, an elongated hole for the tumbler bearing mandrel and a recess for the key drive beard.
With such locks, there is a certain risk that a burglar will lead a thorn through the keyhole and the tumbler openings to the bolt and try to strike the bolt back with deformation of the tour pin and the tumblers. In order to be able to apply a force component in the direction of the bolt path, he must try to set the mandrel or punch diagonally and hit the edge of the key control curve in the bolt. This attack on the lock is promoted by the fact that the tumbler package has a relatively large cutout in the form of the key control curve in the area of rotation of the key bit (see document US-A-4,453,389).
The invention has for its object to increase the security against manipulation of security locks by constructive measures and to prevent the bolt from striking back.
It is a further object of the invention to make it difficult to spy out the lock coding with the aid of an endoscope.
According to the invention, these difficulties are solved in that the lock bolt has a rectangular recess in the area of the recess, in that a rectangular protective plate made of tough material is slidably mounted in this recess relative to the bolt, that this protective plate has a keyhole matched to the bolt drive type and that the protective plate has a circular opening through which the housing-fixed tumbler bearing pin extends.

In Fig. 1, the lock bolt is designated 1, which is slidably mounted on the
Fig. 2 shows the

The
When the bolt is extended (right end position), the keyhole edge of the protective plate is exactly above the left edge of the recess 1a. If a burglar tries to pull the bolt back, the tool hits the barely destructible protective plate, which absorbs the impact energy. A component can act on the tumbler bearing mandrel. The bolt is loaded indirectly in the direction of the lock floor, but it cannot be moved in the opening direction.
If the protective plate is bent, the entire locking system wedges in such a way that the bolt is completely blocked.
Fig. 5 shows a partial cross section through a lock with a protective plate which is arranged in the tumbler package. The
