Definitions
- the invention relates to a piece of furniture with a door which can be lowered from a position of use into a door compartment with at least a first side wall, with a vertical stop bar, which at its upper end on an upper rail attached to the first side wall and at its lower end is guided on a lower rail and on which the door is hinged and a scissors cross, the beams of which are connected to the first side wall of the door compartment and to the stop bar by two anchors, one of which is fixed while the other is vertically displaceable.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a generic furniture door which can be used flexibly and is robust or can be adapted to given requirements with little effort if necessary.
- the guidance of the stop bar should be reliable and allow subsequent adjustment. This is particularly important if, as is often the case, only the first side wall of the door compartment with the holding device anchored to it is delivered and it is only installed later in the piece of furniture.
- the piece of furniture according to the invention is very well suited for later assembly with subsequent adjustment, the first side wall with the holding device being able to be easily manufactured with parts such as the floor, ceiling and second side wall made by other manufacturers Door compartment and the door itself connected and the necessary adjustments can be made.
- the holding device including guide rails can be assembled ready for installation in the factory, which ensures a more precise assembly than would be possible if the guide rail were retrofitted when the piece of furniture was assembled. This ensures that the holding device is relatively robust from the outset. Due to the adjustable design of the guide rails, the same can be matched to the other parts after the piece of furniture has been assembled in such a way that, in particular, jamming of the scissor cross is reliably prevented.
- a piece of furniture is shown with a door 1 which can be lowered into a door compartment 2.
- the door 1 is attached to a stop bar 4 by means of concealed hinges 3a, b.
- the stop bar 4 is one Scissors cross worn, the beams 5a, b are connected to the same at two anchors, the upper of which is fixed, while the lower is vertically displaceable, likewise with a first side wall 6 of the door compartment 2.
- the upper anchors to be displaceable and the lower fixed design, however, the selected arrangement has the advantage that the effect of the weight of the scissor cross supports the sinking of the door 1 and ensures that the scissor cross remains sunk in the door compartment 2 before striking the same.
- the piece of furniture is shown with the door 1 not sunk, closed, the scissors cross is open.
- Door 1 and stop bar 4 are in the use position. If the door 1 is completely open, it can be sunk into the door compartment 2, the scissors cross folding and the stop bar 4, guided on an upper rail 7a and a lower rail 7b, being pushed to the rear end of the door compartment 2.
- the upper rail 7a and the lower rail 7b have the purpose of guiding the stop bar 4 precisely and thereby preventing the scissor cross from twisting and jamming.
- the rails 7a , b are mounted on the first side wall 6.
- the rails 7a , b attached to the side wall 6 in such a way that their distance from the same is adjustable from the side of the first side wall 6 opposite the door compartment 2.
- sleeves 13 Fig. 3 with external thread, which with the respective rail, for. B. the upper rail 7a, are screwed.
- FIG. 6a, b An alternative embodiment of the rail 7a (Fig. 6a, b) facilitates supplementing the guidance of the stop bar by guiding the door 1, which is produced by a guide part 27 which engages with the rail 7a when the door is lowered. This reliably prevents uncontrolled lateral movements.
- a further possibility for guiding the door 1 is provided by a guide tab 28 which engages in a groove 29 on the top thereof. Both options are shown in FIG. 6b. They can also be combined without difficulty, but one of them is usually sufficient. Analog guides can be used at the lower end of door 1.
- FIG. 7 An alternative guide for the stop bar 4, which matches the above-described design of the rail 7a, is shown in FIG. 7.
- the stop bar 4 carries an attached spar guide 30 which is in engagement with the rail 7a and carries a snap device 31 which, together with a screw 32 mounted on the rail 7a, forms a snap connection which prevents the stop bar 4 from sliding back undesirably from the use position in the door compartment 2 is effective. Because the snap connection acts between the stop bar 4 and the rail 7a, it must change when the distance of the rail 7a from the first side wall 6 changes not be adjusted.
- a guide tab for guiding the door as in Fig. 6a, b is not shown here, but can be provided without further ado.
- the fixed anchoring of the beam 5b on the first side wall 6 lies on a fastening part 8 (FIGS. 1, 2a, b, c, d) which is connected therethrough by means of a screw connection 9 to an adjusting part 10 such that the screw connection 9 forms a common pivot point of both.
- the fastening part 8 and the adjustment part 10 are connected by a further screw connection 11, which is carried out through the first side wall 6 with lateral play, so that the fastening and adjustment part can be pivoted together about their common pivot point when the screw connection 11 is loosened. If it turns out, for example, after the door 1 has struck that it hangs somewhat outwards, the screw connection 11 is loosened and the lower end of the adjusting part 10 is pushed backwards.
- the fastening part 8 is taken along and the upper anchorage point of the scissors cross is moved to the rear.
- the stop bar 4 with the door 1 is thereby erected.
- the screw connection 11 is tightened and forms a clamp connection between the fastening part 8 and the adjustment part 10 on the one hand and the first side wall 6 on the other.
- the adjustment part 10 is secured by a screw 12 against pivoting about the pivot point. The adjustment can thus be carried out in a labor-saving manner from outside the door compartment 2 with the holding device fully assembled and the door 1 knocked open.
- a stop piece 33 (FIGS. 8a, 8b) is effective, however, which the stop bar 4 is fixed by means of a clamping screw 34. It interacts with a stop band 35 attached to the first side wall 6. If the clamping screw 34 is loosened, the stop piece 33 can be pushed along the stop bar 4 from the area in which it interacts with the stop band 35 or automatically slips out of the said area under the influence of gravity. The stop bar 4 can then be pulled out of the door compartment 2 for adjustment or other maintenance purposes. To hold the stop bar 4 in this position, a further snap connection (not shown) which prevents the same from sliding back into the door compartment 2 between the same and the stop bar 4 can be provided.
- the door compartment 2 is usually delimited on the side opposite the first side wall 6 by a second side wall 15 (FIG. 4). If the distance between the second side wall 15 and the first side wall 6 is too large, a disruptive gap arises, if it is too small, the edge of the door 1 brushes against the second side wall 15 when opening and closing, resulting in ugly damage to the door 1, e.g. B. can lead to chipping of the veneer. Therefore, a roller 16 is attached to the stop bar 4, which is displaceable in a dovetail groove along the stop bar 4 and can be fixed by means of screws. The roller 16 is spaced from the second side wall 15, so that disturbing noises when the door 1 is lowered or pulled out are avoided.
- roller 16 presses against a plastic plate 17 attached in the region of the front edge of the second side wall 15, as a result of which a sufficient distance between said side wall and the door 1 is ensured even when the distance itself is rather short.
- a holder can also be provided for the roller 16 allows you to change their distance from the stop bar 4.
- FIG. 9 An alternative embodiment in which the roller 16 is replaced by a screw 16 '- the adaptation to the distance to the second side wall 15 is thereby facilitated - is shown in Fig. 9.
- FIGS. 1 and 4. An alternative embodiment of the stop bar 4 is also shown there, in which the hinge 3a - 3b is of the same design - is fastened to the stop bar 4 by means of a holding part 37, which comprises the same like a claw. This embodiment is more space-saving than that shown in FIGS. 1 and 4.
- the anchoring of the scissor cross (Fig. 1.5) on the stop bar 4 is solved in a very advantageous manner so that the upper fixed anchorage by means of a bolt 18 anchored to the beam 5a of the scissor cross and a bottom open or (fixed to the stop bar 4) 2d) enlarged slot 19 is formed and the vertically displaceable by a rotatably connected to the bar 5b slider 20 made of plastic, which is guided in a dovetail groove 21 open at the bottom on the stop bar 4. Since the stop bar 4 can be pulled completely out of the area of the stop band 35 from the door compartment 2 after the stop piece 33 has been moved, it can thus be simply suspended from the scissor cross.
- the anchoring of the scissor cross on the first side wall 6 is similarly formed at the top by an open or expanded slot 22 - the former variant allowing more convenient assembly and disassembly, the latter being mechanically more stable - in the fastening part 8 and a bolt 23 fastened to the beam 5b and below analogous to the lower anchoring of the scissors cross on the Stop bar 4 by a slider rotatably connected to the beam 5a, which is guided in a dovetail groove open at the top, which is closed here at its lower end by a noise-damping stop made of plastic.
- the scissor cross can also be easily removed.
- a stop 36 is attached to the stop bar 4, which stops the movement of the slide 20 in the Dovetail groove 21 limited at the top.
- the stop 36 is detachable - for. B. by means of a clamping screw - fixed, which makes it easier to unhook the scissor cross as described above.
- the anchors of the scissor cross are attached to the stop bar 4 and to the first side wall 6 at the outer corners of the beams 5a, b.
- the various adjustment options are completed by the adjusting screw 24, which allows the stop bar 4 to be displaced in the vertical direction with respect to a support 25 suspended on the bolt 18 by means of the slot 19. To do this, it is sufficient to loosen screws 26, which secure the support 25 against vertical displacement of the stop bar 4, to adjust the position of the stop bar 4 by turning the adjusting screw 24 and to tighten the screws 26 again.
- the stop bar 4 can of course be pulled out of the door compartment 2 for the purpose of this adjustment as described above, which greatly facilitates the work.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a piece of furniture with a door which can be lowered from a position of use into a door compartment with at least a first side wall, with a vertical stop bar, which at its upper end on an upper rail attached to the first side wall and at its lower end is guided on a lower rail and on which the door is hinged and a scissors cross, the beams of which are connected to the first side wall of the door compartment and to the stop bar by two anchors, one of which is fixed while the other is vertically displaceable.
Such a piece of furniture is known from US-972412. Experience has shown that in the case of retractable doors, as described in the cited document, in particular when the door is subsequently ripped, as is customary today, even with the most careful assembly, various problems occur, which are associated with small changes in the geometry of the holding device, such as they result from the stress of various attacking forces and moments.
Another generic piece of furniture is known from EP-A-254041. This solution, which has been tried and tested in practice, offers the possibility of subsequently adjusting various parameters. In particular, the guide rails, which in this solution are on the floor and ceiling of the door compartment are attached, laterally displaceable, which allows an adjustment that reliably prevents the scissor cross from jamming. However, the adjustment can only be carried out after the door compartment has been assembled and requires manipulations inside the same.
The invention is based on the object of creating a generic furniture door which can be used flexibly and is robust or can be adapted to given requirements with little effort if necessary. In particular, the guidance of the stop bar should be reliable and allow subsequent adjustment. This is particularly important if, as is often the case, only the first side wall of the door compartment with the holding device anchored to it is delivered and it is only installed later in the piece of furniture.
The advantages achieved by the invention are, above all, that the piece of furniture according to the invention is very well suited for later assembly with subsequent adjustment, the first side wall with the holding device being able to be easily manufactured with parts such as the floor, ceiling and second side wall made by other manufacturers Door compartment and the door itself connected and the necessary adjustments can be made. In particular, the holding device including guide rails can be assembled ready for installation in the factory, which ensures a more precise assembly than would be possible if the guide rail were retrofitted when the piece of furniture was assembled. This ensures that the holding device is relatively robust from the outset. Due to the adjustable design of the guide rails, the same can be matched to the other parts after the piece of furniture has been assembled in such a way that, in particular, jamming of the scissor cross is reliably prevented.
In an advantageous embodiment of the piece of furniture according to
The features described in the cited claims can, as is shown by means of the exemplary embodiment, be combined to form an extremely adaptable solution which meets all requirements.

In the figures, a piece of furniture is shown with a
According to the invention, not only the
An alternative embodiment of the
An alternative guide for the
The fixed anchoring of the
Against a pulling the
The
An alternative embodiment in which the
An alternative embodiment of the
The anchoring of the scissor cross (Fig. 1.5) on the
The anchoring of the scissor cross on the
However, so that the
So that the scissor cross claims the smallest possible proportion of the depth of the
The various adjustment options are completed by the adjusting
