Definitions
- the invention relates to a perforated plate according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a perforated plate shows e.g. document DE-A-3640830
- a plate with bores is arranged downstream of the valve seat surface, through which the atomization of the fuel then takes place. Most of the time these plates contain several holes. It is also known to provide these bores at an angle to the valve axis or to provide an annular groove in a surface of the plate, from which the individual bores then extend. However, line blasting with relatively poor atomization is caused by the individual bores.
- the object of the present invention is to generate flat jets or fan jets for atomizing the fuel, so as to obtain better atomization.
- the measures according to the characterizing part of claim 1 are proposed to achieve this object.
- the jet shape such as jet angle and jet distribution, can be influenced in a simple manner by varying the inlet geometry, for example the inlet depth of the inlet angle, etc.
- single-jet valves with full cone distribution as well as two- and three-jet valves can be produced, which have a better preparation than the previous valves.
- There is a simple design option for the jet shape and the invention can be applied directly to series injection valves.
- FIG. 1 represents the lowermost part of an injection valve
- FIG. 2 shows a plan view of a perforated plate designed according to the invention in viewing direction A of FIG. 3 and FIG show in Fig.2.
- a fuel injection valve for a fuel injection system of a mixture-compressing, spark-ignited internal combustion engine.
- a fuel injection valve is also described and illustrated, for example, in DE-OS 3 640 830 and reference is expressly made here to this publication.
- a holding sleeve 2 is screwed onto a nozzle body 1, the nozzle body 1 having a sealing seat surface 6 which, together with a cone 5 of a valve needle 4, forms the actual valve.
- a collecting bore 7 is formed in the nozzle body 1 and ends at an end face 17 of the nozzle body 1.
- a thin perforated plate 3 is clamped perpendicular to the valve axis and has at least one hole 9. The fuel jet or jets then emerge via this hole or these holes 9 and thereby penetrate a bore 8 in the holding sleeve 2.
- the invention is now shown in more detail, and these figures show a perforated plate 3 with a single hole 9.
- the perforated plate 3 may have several such holes.
- an elongated indentation 10 is formed open to the collecting bore 7 in the perforated plate 3, each of which opens into the cylindrical hole 9 opposite one another, namely the edge 13 of each indentation 10 running in the flow direction is approximately on both sides connected to the edge 14 of the cylindrical hole 9 and, as can be seen, the width of the indentation 10 corresponds approximately to the corresponding diameter of the cylindrical hole 9.
- the indentations 10 preferably extend inclined from the surface of the perforated plate 3 to the hole 9, as shown in FIG. 3 shows.
- the holes 9 are preferably circular cylindrical.
- current threads 11 are shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. It can be seen that in the two opposing impressions 10, the current threads 11 are directed against the central axis of the hole, meet there and the flow direction is then deflected by 90 °, so that a flat jet 12 shown in broken lines is formed and emerges from the hole 9, which is aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the impressions 10. Since here a flatter liquid lamella emerges at the exit from the hole than with line jets, the atomization of the supplied fuel is significantly increased. As already mentioned, by changing the inlet geometry, i.e. the depth of the impressions, the beam shape, ie the beam angle and the beam distribution and the like, can be influenced in a simple manner. By combining several flat jets 12, single jet valves with full cone distribution as well as two and three jet valves can be produced.

Description
The invention relates to a perforated plate according to the preamble of
The object of the present invention is to generate flat jets or fan jets for atomizing the fuel, so as to obtain better atomization.
According to the invention, the measures according to the characterizing part of
The invention will now be illustrated, for example, with reference to the drawings, in which FIG. 1 represents the lowermost part of an injection valve, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of a perforated plate designed according to the invention in viewing direction A of FIG. 3 and FIG show in Fig.2.
Such a fuel injection valve is also described and illustrated, for example, in DE-OS 3 640 830 and reference is expressly made here to this publication. 1, a
Die Löcher 9 sind vorzugsweise kreiszylinderförmig.2 and 3, the invention is now shown in more detail, and these figures show a
For better understanding,
