Abstract

A plug-type clasp for pieces of jewerly, in particular for necklaces, composed of a housing in which a sleeve is movable under the force of a spring. The sleeve has a receiving opening into which a connecting element can be inserted through a front-end opening of the housing and locked there. Both the front-end opening of the housing and the receiving opening of the sleeve are eccentrically offset from each other, so that the connecting element can only be inserted into the housing, and locked there, only after the sleeve has been pulled back against the force of the spring. Removal of the connecting part can take place in the correspondingly reversed order. Activation of the sleeve for unlocking the plug-type clasp takes place by means of an operating button, laterally guided in a longitudinal hole of the housing, so that the actual connecting areas of the plug-type clasp for pieces of jewelry, in particular necklaces, remain free of pulling stresses during the operation of the plug-type clasp. Diese Rastposition wird durch die Wirkung der Feder gesichert. Beim Öffnen dieses vorbekannten Steckverschlusses muß das Gehäuse festgehalten werden, die Hülse gegen die Wirkung der Feder zurückgezogen werden und das Anschlußteil aus der Auf­nahmeöffnung der Hülse entfernt werden. Da hier die Hülse aber unmittelbar mit dem anderen Anschlußende des Steckverschlusses in Verbindung steht, kann es vorkommen, daß bei unbeabsichtigtem Zug an diesem Anschlußende der Hülse diese gegen die Wirkung der Feder im Gehäuse verschoben wird und ihre vorderen Rastzungen die umlaufende Ringnut des Anschlußteils freigeben, so daß bei gleichzeitig auftretendem Zug an beiden Seiten des Steckverschlus­ses ein unbeabsichtigtes Lösen des Verschlusses und damit unter Umständen der Verlust des Schmuckteils eintreten kann.Such a generic plug closure is known from EP-0121953 A1, in particular the description parts belonging to FIG. 3. Claims (4)

1. Steckverschluß für Schmuckteile, insbesondere Schmuckketten, mit einem Gehäuse, dessen eine Stirnwandung von innen von einer Feder beaufschlagt wird, deren anderes Ende eine im Gehäuse verschiebbare Hülse beaufschlagt, die eine zur anderen Stirnseite des Gehäuses zeigende Aufnahmeöffnung aufweist, in die über eine stirnseitige Öffnung des Gehäuses ein Anschluß­teil einführbar und dort arretierbar ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittelachse (B-B′) der stirn­seitigen Öffnung (15) des Gehäuses (10) exzentrisch zur Längs­achse (A-A′) der Aufnahmeöffnung (21) der Hülse (20) liegt, und daß die Hülse (20) in der gegen die Wirkung der Feder (12) zurückgezogenen Position (Entnahme- und Einführposition) die Verschiebung der Längsachse des Anschlußteils (30) zwischen den beiden anderen Längsachsen (A-A′;B-B′) gestattet.
