Abstract

A high bulk density granular detergent composition containing.
  • (a) a sulfonate of a fatty acid lower alkyl ester having 12 to 14 carbon atoms in the fatty acid residue thereof and
  • (b) a sulfonate of a fatty acid lower alkyl ester having 16 to 18 carbon atoms in the fatty acid residue thereof
  • wherein the ratio by weight of (a)/(b) is 1/9 to 6/4 and the content of the total weight of the component (a) and (b) in the composition is 5 to 30% by weight.
