Definitions
- the innovation relates to a label for containers, in particular for bottles made of glass or plastic, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Containers made of glass, plastic, sheet metal or the like are provided with a large number of labels, unless direct printing takes place.
- Conventional labels consist of a film material, preferably paper, which is attached to a container surface in the form of a sheet. Labels made of plastic film can be glued, for example, by loosening the plastic material.
- the adhesive material must be such that it does not impair the appearance of the label and is reasonably temperature-stable so that unwanted, even partial, peeling is avoided. For example, it is common practice to apply labels for bottles or the like using cold glue.
- the labels applied to bottles with the help of cold glue are usually not easily removable, which is sometimes desired for advertising reasons. It increases the value of attention and thus the advertising value for a product when the user can be asked to remove a label, for example to take note of the information on the back.
- the back of a label can be printed with an image, a token or something similar, which encourages the user to collect images or tokens.
- less liability has the disadvantage that the label is inadvertently removed in whole or in part or slips before the product has even reached the end customer.
- a part of a label can also be detached or detached by not gluing this part onto the base of the container. The user can then view this section, e.g. on the back carries advertising-effective information.
- the non-sticking of label sections harbors the risk that they will be torn off or at least torn during the handling and transport of the containers and thus impair their appearance.
- the innovation is therefore based on the object of creating a label for containers, in particular for bottles made of glass or plastic, which allows the detachment of a section of the label without disruptive and therefore easily damaged parts being present before detachment.
- a section is delimited with the help of a line of weakness.
- This section can, for example, be separated from the rest of the label by a continuous, for example, straight line of weakness. However, it can also be a closed one, for example a rectangle act descriptive line of weakness that, so to speak, excludes a window from the label.
- the label according to the innovation is applied in a conventional manner to a substrate with the aid of cold glue, but in the area of the section mentioned a material application which reduces or inhibits the adhesive effect of the adhesive is applied to the back.
- Such application of material is preferably applied over a large area in order to prevent adhesion, even if only at certain points, which impairs non-destructive detachment of the section.
- the application of material or the coating carried out means that the cold glue or the adhesive does not develop its full effect in this area, so to speak partially "neutralizes" it, so to speak.
- a weak neutralization varnish coating can be carried out, which leaves only a slight adhesion of the adhesive to the label in this area.
- a preferably transparent plastic coating can be made, which causes the adhesive to be anchored to the back of the label in said section only to a limited extent, and only to the extent that the section can be removed by simply pulling it off by hand.
- acetate can be used as the adhesive "neutralizing" medium can be used.
- the "neutralizing" substance should be such that after the label section has been removed, it feels completely dry and no longer exhibits an adhesive effect.
- Fig. 1 shows a label 10 which e.g. from a trapezoidal sheet 11 of a sheet-like material, e.g. Paper exists. It is usually provided with an advertising imprint (not shown).
- the sheet 11 has a rectangular perforation line 12 to form a rectangular section 14.
- This section 14 can e.g. can be separated by hand from the sheet 11, as indicated in Fig. 1.
- Section 14 carries e.g. on the back (not shown) a print, for example in the form of a discount stamp, a picture or the like.
- the label 20 shown in Fig. 2 is e.g. of the same shape and the same material as the label 10 according to FIG. 1. It consists of a film sheet 21 which is divided into two adjacent sections by means of a perforation line 22 which extends between the upper and lower edge.
- the sheet 21 is attached to the neck of a bottle 23, the right portion 24 being partially removed triggers.
- the detachable section 24 also bears an advertising print on its back, for example in the form of a discount stamp, an image or the like.
- the labels shown in Figures 1 to 3 are applied using a conventional cold glue e.g. attached to the bottle 23.
- a material was previously applied to sections 14 and 24, which partially neutralized the effect of the cold glue.
- This is a material which is transparent so as not to impair the print and which reduces the adhesion of the adhesive material, for example due to a lower absorption which leads to less anchoring of the adhesive material in this area.
- neutralizing lacquer, acetate or the like can be used as the material that inhibits the adhesive effect.
- the user can therefore e.g. Pre-cut section 14 with a pointed object and then pull it off by hand.
- the section 24 can likewise be detached and separated from the other section of the sheet 21 along the perforation line 22.

Abstract
Description
The innovation relates to a label for containers, in particular for bottles made of glass or plastic, according to the preamble of claim 1.
Containers made of glass, plastic, sheet metal or the like are provided with a large number of labels, unless direct printing takes place. Conventional labels consist of a film material, preferably paper, which is attached to a container surface in the form of a sheet. Labels made of plastic film can be glued, for example, by loosening the plastic material. However, it is common to apply labels with the aid of an adhesive material. The adhesive material must be such that it does not impair the appearance of the label and is reasonably temperature-stable so that unwanted, even partial, peeling is avoided. For example, it is common practice to apply labels for bottles or the like using cold glue.
The labels applied to bottles with the help of cold glue are usually not easily removable, which is sometimes desired for advertising reasons. It increases the value of attention and thus the advertising value for a product when the user can be asked to remove a label, for example to take note of the information on the back. For example, the back of a label can be printed with an image, a token or something similar, which encourages the user to collect images or tokens. In the case of labels applied with the aid of cold glue, however, it is not possible, as already stated, to detach a label, for example on a bottle. This requires an adhesive material that reduces the adhesion of the label to the surface. However, less liability has the disadvantage that the label is inadvertently removed in whole or in part or slips before the product has even reached the end customer.
A part of a label can also be detached or detached by not gluing this part onto the base of the container. The user can then view this section, e.g. on the back carries advertising-effective information. However, the non-sticking of label sections harbors the risk that they will be torn off or at least torn during the handling and transport of the containers and thus impair their appearance.
The innovation is therefore based on the object of creating a label for containers, in particular for bottles made of glass or plastic, which allows the detachment of a section of the label without disruptive and therefore easily damaged parts being present before detachment.
This object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
With the new label, a section is delimited with the help of a line of weakness. This section can, for example, be separated from the rest of the label by a continuous, for example, straight line of weakness. However, it can also be a closed one, for example a rectangle act descriptive line of weakness that, so to speak, excludes a window from the label. The label according to the innovation is applied in a conventional manner to a substrate with the aid of cold glue, but in the area of the section mentioned a material application which reduces or inhibits the adhesive effect of the adhesive is applied to the back. Such application of material is preferably applied over a large area in order to prevent adhesion, even if only at certain points, which impairs non-destructive detachment of the section. The application of material or the coating carried out means that the cold glue or the adhesive does not develop its full effect in this area, so to speak partially "neutralizes" it, so to speak.
Various materials are conceivable in order to reduce the adhesive effect. For example, a weak neutralization varnish coating can be carried out, which leaves only a slight adhesion of the adhesive to the label in this area. Alternatively, a preferably transparent plastic coating can be made, which causes the adhesive to be anchored to the back of the label in said section only to a limited extent, and only to the extent that the section can be removed by simply pulling it off by hand. For example, acetate can be used as the adhesive "neutralizing" medium can be used.
Furthermore, the "neutralizing" substance should be such that after the label section has been removed, it feels completely dry and no longer exhibits an adhesive effect.
The application of a material that reduces the adhesive effect can be accomplished relatively easily. Since the label material in the case of the innovation is normally printed on the back in the area of the section to be removed, e.g. this material order can be made simultaneously with the printing process.

Before going into the details shown in the drawings, it should be noted that each of the features described may, by itself or in conjunction with features of the claims, be of essential importance for innovation.
Fig. 1 shows a
The
In Fig. 3, the
The labels shown in Figures 1 to 3 are applied using a conventional cold glue e.g. attached to the
