Claims (10)

1. Check for Italian, Australian, pivoting or the like windows, comprising a fixing member (21) integral with the edge (2) of a stile (3) of the sash-frame (4), a fixing member (35) integral with the edge (5) of a stile (6) of the leaf (7) and a check arm (29) connected by its both ends (28, 30) to both fixing members (21, 35), characterized in that the fixing member (35), integral with the edge (5) of the stile (6) of the leaf (7) provided with a multiple locking-point fitting (8), is formed of two enantiomorphous members (36, 37) movable in the direction of the movement of the operating rod (9) of the fitting (8) sliding in a groove made in the edge (5) and, for co-operation with one of the connections (31) of the check arm (29), the enantiomorphous members being kept joined by one of their transversal edges (45) through locking means (52, 53) co-operating with the bottom (42) of the groove.
2. Check according to claim 1, characterized in that each enantiomorphous member (36, 37) comprises means (63, 65) co-operating with the connection (31) of the check arm (29), guiding means (54, 55) co-operating with the groove in the edge (5) of the leaf (7) and guiding means (43) co-operating with means (46, 51) of the operating rod (9) for the sliding of this latter.
3. Check according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the means co-operating with the connection (31) of the check arm (29) are a groove (63) of a narrowed width (66) located above a recess (65) in which moves the head (33) of the trunnion (31) forming the connection of the check arm (29), this head (33) being integral with a spindle (32) moving in the groove (63), this latter and said recess (65) ending onto the transversal edge (45) to form an opening (68) to engage and/or disengage the trunnion (31).
4. Check according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the guiding means (54, 55) co-operating with the groove in the edge (5) of the leaf (7) are longitudinal grooves (54, 55) made in the longitudinal edges (67, 57) of the pencil-shaped body (38) of the enantiomorphous member (36, 37) and in which engage the bends of both parallel walls of the groove made in the edge (5) of the leaf (7).
5. Check according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the guiding means co-operating with the operating rod (9) are a channel (43) made in the face (41) of the enantiomorphous member (36, 37) oriented towards the bottom (42) of the groove in the edge (5) of the leaf (7) and extending from one transversal edge (44) to the other transversal edge (45) of the pencil-shaped body (38).
6. Check according to claims 1 and 5, characterized in that the guiding means co-operating with the operating rod (9) are a longitudinal emboss (50) protruding with respect to the bottom (49) of the channel (43) and engaging into an elongated slot (51) made in the operating rod (9).

Check according to claims 1, 2 and 5, characterized in that the guiding means co-operating with the operating rod (9) are a guiding spindle riveted in an opening (60) made in the outer face (59) of the enantiomorphous member (36, 37) and ending into the channel (43) and passing through the elongated slot (51) in the operating rod (9), this guiding spindle having, at its free end, a shoulder on which slides the inner face of the operating rod (9).
8. Check according to claims 1 and 6, characterized in that the locking means are pressure screws engaged into tapped holes (52, 53) made in the longitudinal emboss (50) and resting against the bottom (42) of the groove in the edge (5) of the leaf, the head of these pressure screws being sunk in a recess (58) made in the outer face (59) of the enantiomorphous member (36, 37).
9. Check according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the operating rod (9), of a width (40) identical to that (39) of the enantiomorphous member (36, 37) comprises, in front of these latter, a narrowing (46) in which are made the elongated slots (51).
10. Check according to claim 9, characterized in that the narrowing (46) has a length (47) at least equal to the sum of the length (48) of the fixing member (35) formed of both enantiomorphous member (36, 37) and the length of the stroke of the operating rod (9).
