Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device comprising two bottles which can be combined to form a ready-to-use liquid or pasty preparation to form a ready-to-use liquid or pasty preparation, consisting of two bottles which can be separately filled and which can be assembled into one another to form the double-chamber container Bottles, wherein the top bottle in the superimposed position is closed in the region of its bottom wall forming a passage channel with a stopper which is used to mix the filling components through the mouth portion of the lower bottle designed as a tappet element by vertical displacement from the passage channel into the upper bottle forming the upper container chamber is displaceable (DE-A-35 28 525).
When preparing ready-to-use hair dye emulsions, two components, namely the liquid or pasty color component and a pasty or liquid oxidizing agent, usually hydrogen peroxide, have to be mixed to form a ready-to-use preparation. For this application, a double-chamber container is known from DE-A-35 28 525, which consists of an upper, the pasty color component receiving container with a nozzle designed in the bottom area as a passage, which by a second container inserted therein from below and one Plug is closed. In the case of use, the second container is displaced vertically upward in the through-channel and the sealing plug is removed from the through-channel, so that then can mix the two components contained in the respective container. This double-chamber container has the disadvantage that it can only be stored and traded as a unit formed from the two combined containers. The upper container is namely closed by inserting a further part in which the lower bottle and the sealing plug are placed thereon.
The double chamber container known from US-A-3443726 has the same disadvantage. This container consists of two screw-in containers, the passage between the two containers being closed by a sealing plug. This double chamber container can only be handled as a unit.
The invention is based on the object of developing such double-chamber containers so that the bottles can be produced inexpensively from plastic, can be filled and closed independently of one another, can be filled as individual components separately and can be stored, traded and supplied independently of one another, and are easy, problem-free and can be tightly combined to form a double-chamber container without great effort.
In a device of the type mentioned, this object is achieved according to the invention in that the bottom wall of the upper bottle in a separate cylinder as its wall with the wall of a concentrically arranged therein, forming the flow channel and closed with the plug and provided with an internal thread Connection piece connecting plate is formed, wherein the cylinder wall can be locked with the wall of the upper bottle and on the above the connecting plate in the Area protruding inside the bottle has a sealing lip that lies against the inside of the bottle wall, and that the lower bottle has at its mouth section an external thread engaging in the connecting position of the two bottles in the internal thread of the neck and in the adjoining area of the lower bottle a radially outward pull and in one has an annular bead ending wall area, the bead in the connection position forming the double chamber container sealingly abuts the inside of the wall of the nozzle. This configuration makes it possible to fill the upper and lower bottles separately and then to close the upper bottle with the cylinder provided with the stopper and to close the lower bottle with a conventional screw-cap. In this way, the two bottles can be handled independently and separately from one another, in particular can be stored and traded independently of one another. In the case of use, only the screw cap must then be removed from the lower bottle and the lower bottle screwed into the upper bottle, the sealing plug then being displaced into the upper bottle with the mouth region of the lower bottle.
In order to enable a secure fastening of the sealing plug in the neck of the cylinder and a problem-free reception of the mouth section of the lower bottle in the neck, the invention provides in an embodiment that the neck in the area of the transition to the connecting plate has an essentially cylindrical outlet opening with a annular, radially inwardly projecting bead, followed by a cylindrical threaded area extending radially further inward into the passage channel and in the outer area facing away from the upper part has a cylindrical wall area with an enlarged passage cross section compared to the threaded area.
Furthermore, the invention provides that the sealing plug at its end facing the upper part of the upper bottle has a radially projecting end plate resting on the inside of the bottom wall and in its cylindrical region an annular radially projecting bead which engages behind the bead of the neck, and in Area of its bottom plate has a cam projecting axially downward from the bottom plate, which cam is gripped by the end face of the mouth section when the lower bottle is screwed in. This design of the stopper ensures, on the one hand, its secure hold in the socket and, on the other hand, the protruding cam creates a preferred point of attack for the end faces of the mouth area of the lower bottle, which facilitates the levering out and displacement of the stopper.
In an expedient further development, the invention also provides that the upper part of the upper bottle and the sealing plug are made of a soft plastic, in particular of polyethylene, the separate cylinder is made of a hard plastic, in particular of polypropylene, and the lower bottle is made of a hard and essentially Oxygen-impermeable plastic, in particular polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or Barex®, is produced.
Finally, the invention provides that the sealing lip is molded onto the cylinder under prestress.
