Claims (4)
- Keg tap for the dispensing of a liquid standing under pressure from a container provided with a keg closure, consisting of a housing surrounding a pressure chamber through which is inserted a valve-opening rod, co-operating with the keg closure, axially movable with the help of a grip (5), which, on an end projecting beyond a housing wall, is made as valve-opening element and is connected on its opposite-lying end with an operating part, whereby the housing (1) is substantially cylindrical and the valve-opening rod (3) traversing the total height of the housing (1) has a continuous liquid passage (7) in the valve-opening element (4) opening outwardly which, on its opposite-lying end, passes over into a liquid canal (17), here arranged substantially at a rightangle to the liquid passage (7), which is cut out of bracket (15) inserted in a recess (16) in the wall of the housing (1) and has an outlet (18) for the liquid closable with a closure valve (19), characterised in that, between the grip (5) and the upper side of the bracket (15) inserted through the housing (1), there is provided a ring nut (21) which co-operates with the bracket (15) and the valve-opening rod (3) in such a manner that a rotational movement of the ring nut (21) raises or lowers the bracket (15) and the valve-opening rod (3).
- Keg tap according to claim 1, characterised in that, in the lower region of the housing inner chamber, the pressure chamber (2) is provided and is bounded by a piston (8) which is connected by piston rods (14) with the grip (5) on the opposite-lying end (1b) of the housing (1) and which has a central axial bore through which the valve-opening rod (3) is inserted and is tightly axially movable therein independently of the piston movement and the piston (8) is provided with a piston seal (11) which, in the case of operation of the piston (8), opens or closes a passage for a pressure medium into the pressure chamber (2) in the housing (1) and that an outlet canal (13), provided with a non-return valve (12), for the pressure medium leads from the pressure chamber (2).
- Keg tap according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the piston (8) consists of two piston discs (8a, 8b) arranged at a distance from one another and the piston seal (11) is placed in the intermediate space (9) between the piston discs (8a, 8b) and lies tightly against the inner wall of the housing (1) and, in the case of operation of the piston (8), opens or closes a passage gap (9a) between the housing chamber (6) and the intermediate space (9) in the piston (8) and that, in the piston disc (8a) facing the pressure chamber (2), at least one bore (10) provides a connection from intermediate space (9) in the piston (8) to the pressure chamber (2).
- Keg tap according to claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the bracket (15) is securely connected with the valve-opening rod (3) and is axially movable with this.
