Sie werden einzeln beim Abtrennen vom Haltestreifen mit dem Trennmesser in eine vorbestimmte Ausnehmung eines Sammlerblocks gestoßen, wobei vorher der Sammlerblock hin- und herfährt, bis die gewünschte Anzahl und Reihenfolge seiner Ausnehmungen mit Verbindern gefüllt ist. Danach wird der Sammelblock vor ein Gehäuse transportiert. Dann werden die gesammelten Verbinder en bloc in die Kammern des Verbindergehäuses gesteckt. Der Abstand benachbarter Ausnehmungen im Sammlerblock entspricht dem Raster der Kammern des zu bestückenden Gehäuses. Nach diesem bekannten Verfahren werden die Verbinder schrittweise befördert. Da der Sammlerblock beliebig wählbar seitlich in- und herfahren kann, kann jede beliebige Reihenfolge der Leitungen für das Bestücken eines Gehäuses erstellt werden. Das bekannte Verfahren bzw. die bekannte Vorrichtung arbeiten sehr gut und schnell. Die gecrimpten Leitung 1, die vom Transportsystem 2 einer Crimpvorrichtung (nicht dargestellt) quer und im Abstand voneinander schrittweise antransportiert werden, werden im gleichen Abstand von einer Transportkette 3 übernommen und mit gleicher Geschwindigkeit schrittweise weitertransportiert. Die Transportkette 3 weist Klemm- oder Halteelemente auf, in die die Leitungen 1 oder Verbinder der Leitung 1 in Pfeilrichtung 1a gegeben bzw. gedrückt werden mit einer entsprechenden Übergabevorrichtung (nicht dargestellt). Es kann vielmehr jedes Transportmittel verwendet werden, das Klemmittel aufweist, die so positioniert sind, daß über den Leitungen 1 keine Vorrichtungselemente angeordnet und die Leitungen von oben frei zugängig sind.The

- Method for fitting housing chambers (15) with crimped electrical conductors (1), using a collector block (5) which transports the collected, sorted conductors (1) to a removal position (11), characterized in that the conductors (1) are transported along at a predetermined spacing from one another transversely with respect to their longitudinal extent on a transporting chain (3) moving in stepwise manner, the conductors (1) are taken up by the collector block (5) from the transporting chain (3), which collector block (5) has on the underside clamping elements (7) whereof the lateral spacing is very much smaller than the mutual spacing of the conductors (1) on the transporting chain (3), the collector block (5) moving in a predetermined manner above the transporting chain (3) such that a predetermined clamping element (7) stops above a predetermined conductor (1) on the occurrence of a stop in the cycle of the transporting chain (3), the filled collector block (5) is pivoted about a horizontal axis and transported in vertical manner to the removal point (11), the conductors (1) in the collector block (5) being transferred from a horizontal to a vertical plane, and a transporting tong (19) removes the conductors (1) at the removal point (11) from the collector block (5) and transports them to a fitting point (17) to which a housing transporting apparatus (12) has transported a housing (16) to be fitted.
- Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that two collector blocks (5, 5a) are used alternately.
- Method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the collector block (5, 5a) transported to the removal point (11) is transported further vertically in stepwise manner, the step distance corresponding to the spacing of the clamping elements (7).
- Method according to one or more of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the housing chambers (15) are transported to the fitting point (11) in the order of successive chambers.
- Apparatus for carrying out the method according to one or more of Claims 1 to 4, characterized by
a transporting chain (3) for transporting the conductors (1) along in stepwise manner,
at least one collector block (5) for taking up the conductors (1) from the transporting chain (3), the collector block (5) having on the underside clamping elements (7) whereof the lateral spacing is very much smaller than the mutual spacing of the conductors (1) on the transporting chain (3), and the movement of the collector block (5) above the transporting chain (3) being controlled such that a predetermined clamping element (7) stops above a predetermined conductor (1),
a transporting-away apparatus for the filled collector block (5) which pivots the collector block (5) about a horizontal axis and transports it in vertical manner to the removal point (11), the conductors (1) in the collector block (5) being transferred from a horizontal to a vertical plane,
a housing transporting apparatus (12) for transporting to a fitting point (11) a housing (16) to be fitted, and
a transporting tong (19) for removing the conductors (1) at the removal point (11) from the collector block (5) and for transporting the conductors (1) to the fitting point (11). - Apparatus according to Claim 5, characterized in that the transporting chain (3) has clamping and holding elements into which the conductors (1) or connectors of the conductors (1) are introduced or pushed transversely with respect to their longitudinal direction.
- Apparatus according to Claim 5 and/or 6, characterized by a drive system for the transporting chain (3) which is coupled to a drive system of a transporting system (2) upstream of the transporting chain (3).
- Apparatus according to one or more of Claims 5 to 7, characterized in that the collector block (5) is arranged above the transporting chain (3) by the amount of a conductor thickness, but no more than three times the conductor thickness, and is traversable in or in opposition to the transporting direction (4) of the transporting chain (3).
- Apparatus according to one or more of Claims 5 to 8, characterized by
a transporting apparatus for the collector block (5) which moves the collector block (5) to and fro in a predetermined manner above the transporting chain (3), so that a predetermined clamping element (7) stops above a predetermined conductor on the occurrence of a stop in the cycle of the transporting chain (3). - Apparatus according to one or more of Claims 5 to 9, characterized in that the transporting-away apparatus for the collector block (5) is arranged downstream of the last cycle point of the transporting chain (3).
- Apparatus according to one or more of Claims 5 to 10, characterized in that the transporting tong (19) may be guided by means of a drive apparatus on a vertical, rectangular transporting path (18), the lower corner points of the transporting path (18) being located at the removal point (11) and the fitting point (17).
- Apparatus according to one or more of Claims 5 to 11, characterized in that the transporting tong (19) is arranged to be pivotal about the longitudinal axis of the conductors (1) to be transported, by means for pivoting about 90°.
- Apparatus according to one or more of Claims 5 to 12, characterized by
two collector blocks (5, 5a) which may be operated one after the other.
