Claims (7)

1. Foldable support for temporary roadmarker of the type comprising at least one vertical rectangular flat panel (1), which is mounted on a foldable support comprising two pairs of feet '4a, 4b, 4c, 4d) placed respectively on either side of said panel, each pair of feet being articulated together and situated inside a vertical plane perpendicular to said panel, which support further comprises two crosspieces (5a, 5b) which connect together the two front feet and the two rear feet, respectively, and in which support, at least one of the two feet of each pair is articulated about an axis which is feely slidable in two vertical slots (10) cut out along the two vertical edges of said panel (1), which roadmarker is characterized in that said axis is a tranversal rod (9) of which the free ends project to a large extent on both sides of said panel (1) and of said feet, in that said panel (1) is extended upwardly by a vertical bar (11) bearing at its upper end a transversal and horizontal bar (12) forming handle, and in that said front crosspiece (5a) is shorter than said rear crosspiece (5b) or is situated at a level different to the level of said rear crosspiece so that the ends of said rod (9) and of said horizontal bar (12) cooperate respectively with a pair of slideways (22a, 22b) and with a pair of rails (21 a, 21 b) of a storing container and the rear crosspiece cooperate with a pivoting bolt (29a, 29b) carried by said storing container.

Roadmarker according to claim 1, characterized in that the two feet of one pair are connected to said panel respectively by two superposed articulations (9a, 9) slidable in said slot (10) situated on the same side of the panel, and that of the two feet of each pair which is connected to the lower articulation (9a) extends beyond said articulation and is connected to the other foot of the same pair by a second articulation (9b) and to the lower end of the lateral edge of said panel by an articulated connecting rod (6a, 6c), two upper articulations (9) being constituted by said transversal rod of which the free edges project to a large extent from the two sides of the panel.

Roadmarker according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that each one of the two halves of said horizontal bar (12) situated on either side of said vertical bar (11) is engaged in a small tube, said tubes being designed to roll in the upper slideways (21 a, 21 b) of a storing container.

Container (19) for storing foldable roadmarkers according to claim 1, of the type comprising a pair of slideways and a pair of horizontal and longitudinal rails, both pairs being situated on the same level, characterized in that it comprises in its upper part a pair of rails (42a, 42b) of which the spaced apart relationship is slightly greater than the length of the transversal bars (12) forming the handles of said roadmarkers, which bars slide in said rails, in that it comprises a pair of slideways (43a, 43b) of which the spaced apart relationship is slightly greater than the length of the transversal rods (9) of said roadmarkers which slide in said slideways, in that the height between said rails and said slideways is equal to the height between said handles (12) from said transversal rods (9) when the latter are at the upper end of the slots (10) of the roadmarkers, and in that it comprises two bolts (29a, 29b) which are situated on either side of the opening of said container and are forwardly pivotable.

Container according to claim 4, characterized in that it further comprises a removable roadmarker dispenser (40) provided with a carrying structure equipped with hooking means (41, 48, 51) which enable it to be fixed temporarily on the back of said container, which structure supports a pair of rails (42a, 42b) and a pair of slideways (43a, 43b) of which the front ends come into position respectively in line with the upper rails (21a, 21b) and with the slideways (22a, 22b) of the container when said dispenser is fixed on the container and said rails and slideways of the dispenser are curved downwardly so that the vertical distance separating them increases rearwardly.

Container according to claim 5, characterized in that it comprises two juxtaposed compartments of identical width (301, 302) each one of which is equipped with a pair of rails (21 a, 21 b) in its upper part, the spaced apart relationship of which rails is slightly greater than the length of the handles (12) or said roadmarkers and with a pair of slideways (22a, 22b) of which the spaced apart relationship is slightly greater than the length of the transversal rods (9) of said roadmarkers, said container further comprising a removable roadmarker dispenser (40) of width substantially equal to the width of one compartment, which roadmarker dispenser (40) is successively hooked to the rear of each of the two compartments.

Container according to any one of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that it further comprises hori- zontalboxes (25a, 25b, 27a, 27b) disposed on each side of the compartments for storing the roadmarkers and adapted to receive thin plates (18) usable in association with foldable roadmarkers and a central box (50) adapted to receive temporary marker panels, which boxes are supported by a structure (26, 31) of which the lower end is elevated with respect to the floor of the container, so that there is a free space between said structure and the floor for the passage of the crosspieces (5a, 5b) of said roadmarkers.
