In die von der Hauptdruckleitung 23 kommenden und in die zur Druckmittelablaßleitung 24 führenden Leitungen 33, 34 sind je ein 4/3 Wegeventil 27, 28, über die Leitungen 30 ansteuerbare Rückschlagventile 29, Drosseln 32 und parallel zu diesen geschaltete Rückschlagventile 31 geschaltet. Die Drosseln 32 dienen der Geschwindigkeitseinstellung des Hydraulikmotors 14. Der Hydraulikmotor 14 ist für die Zeit seines Stillstandes vermittels Bremse 16, die über ein in die Druckleitung 36 geschaltetes 3/2 Wegeventil 26 beaufschlagbar und druckentlastbar ist, zumindest zeitweise zwangsgehalten. Hierbei werden die von beiden Ventilen 27, 28 kömmenden und zum Hydraulikmotor 14 führenden Leitungen 34 durch Beaufschlagen der Magnetspulen 48, 51 an die Druckleitung 23 gelegt. Als Folge eines digitalen Signals am Ausgang des Meßwertaufnehmers 42 werden nun die Ventile 27, 28 umgeschaltet, indem Spannung an die Magnetspulen 47, 49 gelegt wird, so daß die Drehumkehr des Hydraulikmotors 14 bewirkt wird. Überfährt beim so erfolgenden Schließen der Verstelleinrichtung einer der beiden Meßwertaufnehmer 17, 18 eine Bandkante, wird als Folge des nun am Eingang des Bausteines 41 anstehenden digitalen Signales ein Magnetventil 28 abgeschaltet, wodurch der Hydraulikmotor 14 bis zum Auftreten eines Signales eines der Meßwertaufnehmer 18, 21, und zwar des Meßwertaufnehmers des zuvor kein Signal abgebenden Paares, in einem Langsamlauf das sich an einer Rollenbahn anlegende metallische Band 3 quer bewegt.Starting from the possibility shown in FIG. 3 of feeding metal strips of different widths to a processing station, the evaluation circuit according to FIG. 2 is explained in more detail below. Vorrichtung zum Ausrichten eines von einem Coil ablaufenden Metallbandes (2, 3) auf eine Bearbeitungsstation (55), mit einer Bandkantenabfrageeinrichtung (1, 10) zum Erfassen einer Bandkante (7), einer Verstelleinrichtung (8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14) für die Querverstellung (57) und Führung (22) des Metallbandes und einer Auswerteschaltung (41) für die Signale der Bandkantenabfrageeinrichtung zur Auslösung einer Querverstellung des Metallbandes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß für jede Bandlängskante (7) eine Bandkantenabfrageeinrichtung (1, 10) angeordnet ist mit je zwei Abfragemitteln (17, 19 bzw. 18, 21), die im wesentlichen quer zur Durchlaufrichtung (6) des Metallbandes (2, 3) hintereinander an in gleicher Richtung (57), jedoch gegeneinander verstellbaren Trägern (8, 9) der Verstelleinrichtung (8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14) befestigt sind, und daß die Auswerteschaltung (41) Schaltmittel umfaßt für die Umwandlung eines Signales des zuerst eine Bandkante (7) erfassenden Abfragemittels (17, 18) in eine Langsamschließbewegung der Verstelleinrichtung, für die Unwandlung eines Signales des die gegenüberliegende Bandkante (7) zuletzt erfassenden Abfragemittels (19, 21) in ein Halt der Verstelleinrichtung und für die Umwandlung eines Signales, das manuell über eine Tasteneingabe (43), von einem Vorbausatz (4) oder gegebenenfalls schaltungsintern ausgelöst ist, in eine schnelle Offen-Bewegung mit daran automatisch oder auf ein Signal einer manuellen Eingabe ausgelöster schneller Schließbewegung.1.
