Description

The invention relates to a paving stone set, in particular a concrete paving stone set for paving gardens, paths or the like according to the preamble of claim 1.

The use of concrete paving stones with a natural stone-like or rustic appearance for laying surfaces in various patterns is known. For this purpose, rectangular and triangular stones have become known in the literature, which can be put together as a kit.

In order to achieve a plastic, spatial effect and thus a natural stone-like character, paving stones have become known, the upper surface of which is more or less rounded. A paving stone has become known from DE-A2922393, which has a natural stone-like appearance due to its circumferential curved transition surface with greater rounding in the upper corner areas. According to the description of this document, the stone is subjected to a subsequent mechanical treatment, so that the corners, edges, etc. are rounded off in an irregular manner. This is done in a drum in which the stones are thrown on top of each other to break the edges.

A paving stone has also become known from DE-U-8211 561, with a large number of individual stone heads stamped into a basic shape. The embossed caps give the stone the appearance of individual stones when laid. Each individual cap is provided with an all-round rounding to the side surface.

The latter paving stone has the disadvantage that the laying pattern is very limited overall due to the predetermined shape of the paving stone. In particular, figures in the most varied of forms cannot be laid here.

The known paving stones mentioned above also have the disadvantage that a natural stone character is only inadequately conveyed due to the essentially uniform, small circumferential rounding of the transition surface between the upper surface and side surfaces.

The aforementioned known paving stones do not form a paving stone set for the production of the most varied of patterns.

If known wedge-shaped stones with a different geometric surface structure are used, they generally have the shape of a trapezoid in plan view. With a trapezoidal base of wedge-shaped paving stones, it is necessary to lay them together, i.e. offset to each other, hardly possible, since there are large gaps between the stones.

The invention has for its object to provide a paving stone set, which consists of various stones that can be laid in the composite system, the paving stones in the laid state having the appearance of a spherical surface and thus having a natural stone-like appearance. The object of the invention is also to offer different stone shapes and sizes as a kit, a wedge-shaped stone being given such a floor plan shape that an extremely flexible and varied laying of the paving stones is possible without creating gaps.

These tasks are solved by the characterizing features of claim 1 and the further refinements of the paving stone set.

The “normal stone” 10 shown in plan view in FIG. 1 has a square basic cross section. The side surfaces 11 of the paving stone according to the invention are flat, i.e. formed as non-curved side surfaces. This also applies to the top surface 12 of the paving stone, which is also designed as a flat surface. Flat surfaces have the advantage of being easier to manufacture due to simpler tools and better handling of the objects during storage and use. However, the upper surface 12 can also have a slight curvature.

The transition surface 13 designed according to the invention between the flat side surface 11 and the flat upper surface 12 of the paving stone extends unevenly from one corner to the other corner of the paving stone. The transition between this transition surface 13 and the upper flat surface 12 is formed by the boundary line 14. In the illustrated embodiment, this boundary line has the shape of a circular section. However, it can also have the shape of an ellipse or hyperbola.

Bei einer normalen abgerundeten Kante (Schnitt A-A) wäre a konstant = 45°. α2 in Fig. 6). Dementsprechend beträgt der in Fig. 5 dargestellte Radius R5 der Übergangsfläche 13 z.B. 7,4 mm, der in Fig. 6 dargestellte Radius R6 = 22mm.This circular design of the boundary line 14 in connection with the flat side surfaces 11 increases the transition surface 13 to the corners of the paving stone. 5 and 6 as a section, the tangent angle a changes constantly. With a normal rounded edge (section AA) a would be constant = 45 °. In the paving stone according to the invention, this angle decreases continuously towards the corner, since the rounding of the transition surface 13 increases towards the corner (see α 2 in FIG. 6). Accordingly, the radius R 5 of the transition surface 13 shown in FIG. 5 is, for example, 7.4 mm, the radius R 6 shown in FIG. 6 = 22 mm.

Shown in FIG. 2, "1 1/2 -Stein" 15 is extended by half the amount of the «standard stone." 10 The square normal block 10 has therefore for example also cm a side length of 1 = 12 1, the rectangular 1 1/2 -Stein 15 the same width, but a length of 1 2 = 18 cm. In Fig. 3 shown «half -Stein" 16 corresponds in the dimensions of the half size of the standard stone 10. With the same side length 1 as the standard block 10, the half -Stein 16 has a width of 1 3 = 6 cm on.

The transition between the side surfaces 11 is defined by the rounded surfaces 17 with a radius of e.g. 15 mm formed.

The previously described dimensions of the paving stones 10, 15, 16 serve to fit the paving stones into a modular system with a 6 cm grid, i.e. areas of 6 cm and a multiple thereof can be designed.

With these masses, R 1 = 125 mm is used as the radius for the curved boundary line in FIG. 1. This corresponds to the radius of the boundary line on the broad side of FIG. 2. The radius R 2 of the boundary line 14 of the longitudinal side of the 1 1/2 steins 15 is R 2 = 346 mm. The boundary line 14 in the paving stone according to FIG. 3 likewise has a radius R 1 = 125 mm and a radius R 3 of approximately 16 mm.

In Fig. 4 a wedge-shaped triangular block 18 is shown, which is used to lay arc-shaped or circular patterns. In principle, this stone is constructed in the same way as the normal stone according to FIG. 1. The angle enclosed by the side surface 11 will expediently be 30, 45 or 60 ° in order to reach the dimension 90, 180 or 360 °. The curved boundary line 14 is also formed in this stone as a circular line corresponding to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1.

The sections from FIG. 2 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 show in particular the formation of the changing curvature of the transition surface 13. The height 14 of the paving stone is carried out differently depending on the strength requirements. In particular, it can be 1 4 = 6 cm.

Another exemplary embodiment of the invention as shown in FIGS. 7 to 11 shows a paving stone whose corner regions of the transition surfaces are pulled down. The paving stones according to Figures 7 to 9 are designated 19 to 21. For the rest, the reference numerals of FIGS. 1 to 1 are used, provided they relate to the same subject.

The surface 12, which is flat in the example, merges into the arched transition surface 13 at the boundary line 14. Since this transition is gradual (asymptotic) and the visible surface 12, 13 is formed overall by means of a stamp plate, the boundary line 14 is hardly visible in reality. This impression is reinforced if the upper surface 12 is also slightly curved.

In contrast, a clear boundary line 22 can be seen between the transition surface 13 and the side surfaces 11 or the curved edge regions 17. This boundary line reaches its lowest points 23 in the middle of the curved edge regions 17 and its highest points 24 in the middle of the side surfaces, these points being points of contact with imaginary horizontal tangents.

Die eingeschlossenen Winkel a3 bzw. a4 betragen im Ausführungsbeispiel jeweils 45°.In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 12a, 12b, the development of the invention is shown as a curve stone. In the drawing shown in FIG. 12a, the paving stones 30, 31 according to the invention are designed as circular ring pieces which - depending on the diameter of the circular rings - form circular rings 32, 33 arranged concentrically to one another. The included angles a 3 and a 4 are 45 ° in the exemplary embodiment.

Decisive for the paving stones according to the invention are the arcuate boundary lines 34 to 37, viewed in the radial direction, which are each located on a circle. In this way, the circular rings according to the invention are formed. The lateral boundary surfaces 38, 39 of the circular ring pieces 30, 31 have the same dimensions. In this respect, the circular ring pieces of the circular rings 32, 33 arranged concentrically to one another increase the further radially outwards. However, the circular ring pieces of the next but one circular ring can be composed of two circular ring pieces of the penultimate circular ring. Of course, other combinations of angles, i.e. Pieces of ring with other angles, such as. B. use 30 or 60 °.

The paving stone according to the invention has the advantage that the circular rings 32, 33 can be continuously offset in the tangential direction without any edges or corners being in the way. This concept differs fundamentally from the known version shown in FIG. 12b. Thus, according to the illustration in FIG. 12 a, laying in the association is possible, ie the outer ring pieces 30 overlap the inner ring pieces 31, which gives a pleasing appearance. In the case of a completely symmetrical type of installation, the overlap of the outer circular ring pieces 30 can be, for example, β = α ½ .

Of course, the various circular rings can also be arranged radially outwards, but this gives an overall impression as shown in FIG. 12b. Due to the arched design of the outer contours on a circle, there are also little gaps between the individual paving stones, especially if they are laid in an association. This greatly reduces the risk of accidents when walking on (e.g. high heels).

The combination of different stones with different angles allows the variety of possible variations to increase indefinitely, although extremely precise laying is still guaranteed. Otherwise, the stones are lined up in their outer shape of the invention shown in Figures 1 to 11. This is shown in FIG. 12a by reference numerals 12 to 14.

A further development of the invention provides that a transition between a curved or arch-shaped laying and a normal parallel laying of the paving stones is created. For this purpose, the stone 41 must be beveled on its one end face 40 at a certain angle y along a straight line or concavely. Depending on the adaptation to the curvature of the circular ring section 32, connecting blocks with different angles Y1 , y 2 can be provided.

In its variations, the paving stone according to the invention can be used universally for the design of the most varied installation patterns, the combination according to the design according to the invention giving a special natural granite-like effect.
