Abstract

1. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that four suction frames (1) are assembled to form a basket (2) which is of square cross-section and which is driven rotatably in steps of 90° and that the partial vacuum control is constructed in such a manner that each suction frame is subjected to partial vacuum on or after reaching the position vertically facing the film roll and remains subjected to partial vacuum until the upper horizontal position is reached.

Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each suction frame (1) is connected to the hollow shaft (3) as centre axis of the basket (2) connected to the partial vacuum source via lines with shut-off valves (A, B, C, D) with actuating push members (9) and that in each case actuating means (11, 14) are associated with the vertical position facing the film roll (10) and the horizontal upper position of the suction frames (1) for actuating the push members.
4. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that above the basket (2) a lifting frame (14) is arranged with suction openings (15) for removing the cut-off film section from the respective upper suction frame of the basket (2).
5. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the cutting means (12) is disposed in the region of the edge, facing the film roll (10), of the respective horizontally upper suction frame of the basket (2).
6. Device according to claims 4 and 5, characterized in that by entraining (19) of the lifting frame (14) on the downward movement thereof the drive of the cutting means (12) takes place in the cutting direction.
7. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the lifting frame (14) on meeting the upper suction frame controls the switching off of the partial vacuum influencing of said suction frame.
