Definitions
- the invention relates to a one-piece, pre-folded blank made of foldable material such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or the like for a substantially rectangular or square cup or stacking crate with an undivided base plate, with an essentially parallel spacing in, in two plate sections subdivided perforated plate for securely holding containers, e.g. B.
- the base plate and perforated plate sections are articulated to one another via two opposite side walls of the riser, and arranged in the corner regions of the unfolded blank, pre-punched and protruding beyond the plane of the perforated plate, two-leg angled corner posts, some of which form an integral part of the riser side walls articulated on the undivided base plate and the foldable leg parts of which can be connected to other parts of the tray in a load-bearing manner.
- Stacking or baking trays are essentially known in two basic principles, namely as those with divided bottom and undivided perforated plates on the one hand and as those with undivided bottom and divided perforated plates on the other hand, although there are also rises with completely undivided bottom and perforated plates, but they do are rarely used in practice.
- the principle chosen in each case depends essentially on the given machine options, the production process and in some cases also on the purposes of use.
- adhesive bonds or plug-in arrangements are generally selected.
- corresponding tabs for gluing or plugging and / or cutouts for receiving plug-in tabs are provided on the blank.
- crates of the type described in the introduction are known (see DE-A-29 06 677 and DE-U-71 34 029), in which the corner or support posts have a slight inclination to the outside the stacking or correct insertion of the tray should facilitate.
- the corner posts or stacking corners are usually bent outwards so that the bottom of the respective top tray comes to rest on the surface of the stacked items of the tray below. Then the corner posts only secure against slipping sideways without performing a support function in the vertical direction.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a tray of the type outlined at the outset, which has a significantly improved centering and support function in the stack.
- corner posts are provided at their free ends with lateral steps, while in the articulation or foot area of the corner posts corresponding recesses are provided on the blank, and pre-punched and their legs are folded so that they are slightly inclined inwards when the crates are unfolded.
- the free ends engaging in the recesses of the crates in the stack above achieve a displacement-proof centering, and due to the inclination towards the inside, the corner posts are given, as it were, negative prestressing similar to prestressed reinforced concrete structures, which is sufficient to prevent bending or To prevent the corner posts from escaping to the outside and at the same time to ensure that the gradations can rest firmly in the recesses of the overlying crate.
- the production of this corner post arrangement requires no significant changes compared to the known production method, in particular no change in the dimensions of the blank, but only minor measures with regard to the folding and punching tools in the area concerned.
- This box-shaped tray however, has no corner posts that extend significantly beyond the upper wall edges, so that the problem of corner support and centering does not arise, and consequently no suggestion for the combination according to the invention with the aim of removing the surfaces from the circumferential walls Protect packaging material protruding edges, can be removed.
- the foldable leg parts of the corner posts can expediently be connected to second side walls which are articulated on the two other sides of the base plate which extend at right angles to the side walls of the riser. This results in a particularly stable crate construction.
- the tray is designed with a perforated plate in the form of two plate sections, which are directed towards one another with their long sides without connection, as is known per se for example for margarine cups (see DE-U-76 41 047)
- the two plate sections can advantageously be attached carry their foldable tabs for connection to the second side walls of their transverse sides, which run essentially at right angles, so as to produce a particularly strong and rigid construction together with the connection of the corner posts.
- This goal is achieved in particular in that the foldable leg parts and / or the transverse side flaps can be connected to the second side walls by adhesive bonding. This makes it possible at the same time that all the connection points are only on the two sides of the riser defined by the second side walls and an 8-point gluing can take place, which results in a high degree of dimensional stability and allows savings on the pallet securing.
- the blank is made of corrugated cardboard and the corner posts are made in a standing wave.
- the overall advantages that can be achieved with the invention consist in the fact that a particularly stable tray that can be filled by practically all filling machines available on the market is obtained, which due to the design of the stacking corners with their intervention in floor recesses in the tray above each other to a high degree torsion-free palletizing stability achieved.
- a blank for a stacked or cup-shaped container of rectangular construction is punched out essentially rectangularly from a foldable material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, it being important for such bulk articles to make as little waste as possible.
- the blank has a continuous base plate 1, to which the side walls 3, here in the form of longitudinal side walls, and second side walls 4, here in the form of broad side walls, are articulated by means of fold lines 103, 104 shown in dash-dot lines.
- a perforated plate section 2 is in each case articulated on the two longitudinal side walls via fold lines 102.
- receptacles 20 are punched out in a known manner for the secure positioning of yogurt cups.
- Adhesive flaps 5 are articulated on the perforated plate sections 2 in their lateral areas via corresponding fold lines 105.
- a corner or support post 6 is provided in each of the lateral areas of the longitudinal side walls 3.
- Each of these corner posts 6 is designed as an angle post and has two leg parts 61, 62 which can be folded towards one another by a fold line 106.
- the inner leg part 61 is formed integrally with the longitudinal side wall 3 and can therefore be folded up about the fold line 103 against the base plate 1.
- the fold line 106 between the two leg parts 61, 62 is inclined at an angle a against the fold line 103, which is slightly less than 90 °. If the outer leg part 62 is bent inwards about the fold line 106, this results in a slightly inwardly inclined arrangement of the two-leg angled corner post 6. This inward taper of the corner posts 6 can be seen particularly well from FIG. 2.
- the corner posts have gradations 7 at their upper, free ends, while recesses 8 are provided in corresponding areas on the base plate 1.
- the perforated plate sections 2 are directed towards one another without being connected to one another. This arrangement is particularly suitable for the 12-way crate shown, i.e. a crate with 12 receptacles 20, whereas for crates with a larger number of receptacles, for example 20-way crates, as are common today as 12-way crates, the perforated plate sections are connected, for example, by gluing in can make a designated overlap area.
- the adhesive tabs 5 and the outer leg parts 62 of the corner posts 6, which are each glued to the inside of the folded-up wide side walls 4, are used to produce sufficient stability, so that there are a total of eight adhesive points.
- the meaning of the recesses 8 can be seen from FIG. 8, in which the support posts 6 engage with their gradations 7, in which the gradations 7 come to rest against the lower edges of the side walls 3 and 4, in a crate indicated by a dash-dotted line. Due to the slight inclination of the support posts inwards, the corner posts 6 with their gradations 7 are pressed into the recesses 8, so that there is a high torsional stability and a large number of crates can be stacked one above the other without the risk that the corner posts 6 be pushed outwards.
- the direction of the corrugations in such a way that, as indicated in FIG. 1. run parallel to the second side walls 4 and thus essentially in the direction of the corner posts 6, so that the load-bearing capacity of the latter is further increased and thus their support function in the stack is additionally improved.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a one-piece, pre-folded blank made of foldable material such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or the like for a substantially rectangular or square cup or stacking crate with an undivided base plate, with an essentially parallel spacing in, in two plate sections subdivided perforated plate for securely holding containers, e.g. B. yogurt or milk cups, the base plate and perforated plate sections are articulated to one another via two opposite side walls of the riser, and arranged in the corner regions of the unfolded blank, pre-punched and protruding beyond the plane of the perforated plate, two-leg angled corner posts, some of which form an integral part of the riser side walls articulated on the undivided base plate and the foldable leg parts of which can be connected to other parts of the tray in a load-bearing manner.
Stacking or baking trays are essentially known in two basic principles, namely as those with divided bottom and undivided perforated plates on the one hand and as those with undivided bottom and divided perforated plates on the other hand, although there are also rises with completely undivided bottom and perforated plates, but they do are rarely used in practice. The principle chosen in each case depends essentially on the given machine options, the production process and in some cases also on the purposes of use. In order to achieve sufficient durability of the crates after they have been folded out of the blank, adhesive bonds or plug-in arrangements are generally selected. For this purpose, corresponding tabs for gluing or plugging and / or cutouts for receiving plug-in tabs are provided on the blank. Furthermore, it is possible to completely assemble the crates from the blanks at the manufacturer of the blanks, in which case fold lines are provided to save transport space, by means of which the finished crate can be folded up so that it can be processed by the processor before or when entering a filling station can be erected relatively quickly.
In order to improve the stackability of such crates, crates of the type described in the introduction are known (see DE-A-29 06 677 and DE-U-71 34 029), in which the corner or support posts have a slight inclination to the outside the stacking or correct insertion of the tray should facilitate. However, the corner posts or stacking corners are usually bent outwards so that the bottom of the respective top tray comes to rest on the surface of the stacked items of the tray below. Then the corner posts only secure against slipping sideways without performing a support function in the vertical direction. But even if these outwardly inclined corner posts engage in support means of the overlying crates, due to their predetermined outward inclination as well as even in the case of rectilinear corner posts, an outwardly directed force component is present, so that the posts are pushed away under the load of several crates arranged above them takes place and the support function is lost.
The invention is based on the object of creating a tray of the type outlined at the outset, which has a significantly improved centering and support function in the stack.
This object is achieved in that the corner posts are provided at their free ends with lateral steps, while in the articulation or foot area of the corner posts corresponding recesses are provided on the blank, and pre-punched and their legs are folded so that they are slightly inclined inwards when the crates are unfolded. The free ends engaging in the recesses of the crates in the stack above achieve a displacement-proof centering, and due to the inclination towards the inside, the corner posts are given, as it were, negative prestressing similar to prestressed reinforced concrete structures, which is sufficient to prevent bending or To prevent the corner posts from escaping to the outside and at the same time to ensure that the gradations can rest firmly in the recesses of the overlying crate. The production of this corner post arrangement requires no significant changes compared to the known production method, in particular no change in the dimensions of the blank, but only minor measures with regard to the folding and punching tools in the area concerned.
In themselves, vertical, ie unleaned corner posts with upper edge gradations on crates are known (DE-U-76 26 572), but the lower edges of these corner posts are completely unsupported and free, so that they can dodge downwards when loaded vertically in the stack . This means that these known corner posts in the stack have no real support effect and also lose their centering effect due to the deflection, so that no reference to the combination of features according to the invention can be drawn therefrom. In a still known, four-walled, upwardly open tray (FR-A-2298 486), the side walls can be inclined inward over their entire length. This box-shaped tray, however, has no corner posts that extend significantly beyond the upper wall edges, so that the problem of corner support and centering does not arise, and consequently no suggestion for the combination according to the invention with the aim of removing the surfaces from the circumferential walls Protect packaging material protruding edges, can be removed.
The foldable leg parts of the corner posts can expediently be connected to second side walls which are articulated on the two other sides of the base plate which extend at right angles to the side walls of the riser. This results in a particularly stable crate construction.
When the tray is designed with a perforated plate in the form of two plate sections, which are directed towards one another with their long sides without connection, as is known per se for example for margarine cups (see DE-U-76 41 047), the two plate sections can advantageously be attached carry their foldable tabs for connection to the second side walls of their transverse sides, which run essentially at right angles, so as to produce a particularly strong and rigid construction together with the connection of the corner posts. This goal is achieved in particular in that the foldable leg parts and / or the transverse side flaps can be connected to the second side walls by adhesive bonding. This makes it possible at the same time that all the connection points are only on the two sides of the riser defined by the second side walls and an 8-point gluing can take place, which results in a high degree of dimensional stability and allows savings on the pallet securing.
For reasons of cost and stability, it is advantageous if the blank is made of corrugated cardboard and the corner posts are made in a standing wave.
The overall advantages that can be achieved with the invention consist in the fact that a particularly stable tray that can be filled by practically all filling machines available on the market is obtained, which due to the design of the stacking corners with their intervention in floor recesses in the tray above each other to a high degree torsion-free palletizing stability achieved.
- Fig. 1 einen Zuschnitt für eine Joghurtbecher-Steige und
- Fig. 1 shows a blank for a yogurt cup crate and
- FIG. 2 shows an axonometric representation of a part of two crates stacked on top of one another from the blank of FIG. 1.
A blank for a stacked or cup-shaped container of rectangular construction is punched out essentially rectangularly from a foldable material such as cardboard or corrugated cardboard, it being important for such bulk articles to make as little waste as possible. The blank has a
The corner posts have gradations 7 at their upper, free ends, while recesses 8 are provided in corresponding areas on the
In addition to the taper, the other functions of the individual components of the blank are clear and easy to see from FIG. 2. The
Furthermore, the meaning of the recesses 8 can be seen from FIG. 8, in which the
In the production of the blank from corrugated cardboard, it is expedient to provide the direction of the corrugations in such a way that, as indicated in FIG. 1. run parallel to the
