Description

The invention relates to a door leaf according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for its production according to the preamble of claim 6.

Traditionally, it is customary to manufacture industrially manufactured door leaves in various standard sizes and to keep them in stock. In addition, it is known to produce door leaves of the generic type by hand in that lateral folded parts are connected to cross friezes by means of dowels (cf., for example, US Pat. No. 1,939,999). The cross friezes then either include a closed door panel made of lighter material or glazing. Such handcrafted doors can of course be made in any size, but due to the manufacturing technology are relatively expensive and the production takes a considerable amount of time.

Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to create a door leaf which, on the one hand, can be individually dimensioned, but on the other hand can be manufactured industrially quickly and inexpensively due to a high degree of prefabrication, and to specify a method for such production.

This object is achieved by the characterizing part of claim 1. Because of the solution according to the invention, it is possible to prefabricate the folded parts in a uniform size in large numbers. These rebated parts carry on their outer edges the door seams which ensure tight closing of the door leaf, the fittings for the door lock and the hinge systems being arranged on the one side in the region of these door seams. In the same way, the door panels can be prefabricated on an industrial scale. In this prefabrication, too, no attention needs to be paid to the final dimensions on site. The door leaves can be formed in one piece or have cross friezes which either for optical reasons z. B. provided with a different color or grain veneer or are provided to limit glass surfaces.

The middle part and the folded parts are connected to each other by means of dowels. In order to enable prefabrication regardless of the subsequent provision of a continuous filling or of cross friezes at certain altitudes, dowel holes are made in the rebate parts at relatively short, equidistant intervals, into which dowels are only inserted if necessary, in order to connect the cross frieze with these dowels to enable the middle section constructed in any way.

The depth of the dowel holes in the middle part or in the parts making up the middle part is chosen so that even with a shortening of the width of the door leaf adapted to the individual application, a sufficient depth remains for receiving the dowels.

From the above it follows that such a door can be assembled from relatively few, highly prefabricated parts in the simplest way without specialists. In addition, the construction according to the invention shows a very characteristic aesthetic effect, which results from the combination of the middle part with the fold parts running perpendicularly along the same. To achieve special aesthetic effects and to give clients or architects as much individual design freedom as possible despite the industrial production. B, it can be provided that the folded parts have a color-identical veneer as the middle part or color-different veneers or a different grain in their course. This makes it clear that, based on a manageable number of basic elements to be prefabricated, an extraordinarily high number of combinations with a different aesthetic effect is conceivable.

Eine besonders leichte und kostengünstig realisierbare Konstruktion gibt Anspruch 2 an.Claim 2 specifies a particularly light and inexpensive construction.

In the event that a continuously formed middle part is desired, the configuration according to claim 3 appears favorable.

The grooves provided according to claim 4 for the introduction of decorative strips make it possible to attach the decorative strips easily and equally durable. On the one hand, these decorative strips contribute to the strengthening of the striking aesthetic appearance of a door leaf according to the invention, on the other hand, they make it possible to compensate for tolerances which necessarily occur when two parts are industrially glued, the surfaces of which have already been finished and, accordingly, post-treatment is no longer possible.

The construction of the folded parts according to claim 5 ensures that in the inner central area in which the fittings are fixed, chipboard areas of high compression, i.e. the surface areas of the at least two chipboards glued together are located. This ensures a high level of durability.

A method according to claim 6 also serves to achieve the object according to the invention. In such a method, as the construction typical of the invention permits, the folded parts are produced industrially in large numbers without taking into account the installation dimensions of the individual case. When adapting the size of the door leaf to a desired installation size, the rebate parts are cut to the desired and required length. The middle part will in the simplest case also cut off on the underside according to the desired length, with no intervention in the fold located on the upper side being necessary. In the same way, the width of the filling is cut to size, with the folded parts then being connected to the filling using a required number of dowels, which is generally less than the number of holes drilled as a precaution at the same distance from one another. In the manufacture of the door panel, individual requests, e.g. B. with regard to envisaged glazing, can be easily taken into account by introducing cross friezes.

Ausgestaltungsmöglichkeiten des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens geben die Unteransprüche 7 und 8 an.The subclaims 7 and 8 provide design options for the method according to the invention.

  • Fig. 3 eine Aufsicht auf ein erfindungsgemäßes Türblatt.
Further features, advantages and details of the invention emerge from the following description of a preferred exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing. It shows
  • 1 shows a section through a door leaf according to the invention in the non-assembled state,
  • Fig. 2 is an enlarged partial section corresponding to FIG. 1 in the assembled state, and
  • Fig. 3 is a plan view of a door leaf according to the invention.

A door leaf according to the invention comprises a central part 1 and two longitudinal folding parts 2 and 3.

In the exemplary embodiment, the middle part is constructed from two longitudinal bars 4, 5 which represent a lateral boundary, which are connected to a flat part 6 in a hollow cell honeycomb construction, e.g. B. made of sodium kraft cardboard. The longitudinal bars 4, 5 and the surface part 6 are on both sides by a hard plate 7, 8, z. B. 2.8 mm thick, covered. A veneer with a certain grain and color or a plastic coating or a coating of any natural material can be applied to these hard boards 7, 8. As a result, the central part 1 acts in one piece towards the outside. Dowel bores 9 are made in the longitudinal bars 4, 5, which are only shown schematically in FIG. 3 and are at the same distance d from one another.

The folded parts 2, 3 are each made of two glued chipboards 10, 11, z. B. 19 mm thick. It is hereby achieved that in the area of the dowel holes 12 and in the area of the fastenings of the fitting parts, not shown in the drawing, there are surface areas of the glued panels which have a high degree of compaction and therefore ensure a particularly durable attachment. The folds 21 are formed in a conventional manner. On the inner narrow side 13 of the folded parts 2, 3, longitudinal recesses 14, 15 are provided which, together with the corresponding narrow side 16 of the longitudinal bars 4, 5, form grooves. Decorative strips 17, which can be designed depending on the desired style of the door, are inserted into these grooves. The free outer sides 18, 19 of the folded parts 2, 3 can be veneered or otherwise coated in accordance with the filling 1. To achieve a particularly aesthetic effect, a contrast coating or z. B. only a veneer with a different grain can be provided. In any case, the composition of the flat inner construction with the folded parts 2, 3 and the decorative strips 17 arranged in the connection area gives the door leaves according to the invention an aesthetically striking appearance.

To produce a door panel according to the invention, prefabricated folded parts 2, 3 and z. B. selected a prefabricated middle part 1 with longitudinal bars 4, 5 provided with the appropriate surface design as required. To adjust the height, the middle part 1 is trimmed on its underside, ie where there is no fold, and likewise the fold parts 2, 3 are brought to the required length. To achieve the desired width, the central part 1 or the longitudinal bars 4, 5 connected to the central part 1 are trimmed by corresponding longitudinal cuts so that the resulting width together with the width of the folded parts 2, 3 results in the desired width of the door leaf.

Due to the oversizing of the depth t of the dowel bores 9 in the longitudinal bars 4, 5 it is ensured that a sufficient depth of the dowel bore is available even when the width of the central part 1 is reduced. Subsequently, the folded parts 2, 3 are connected to the middle part 1 by means of dowels 20, whereupon decorative strips 17 are then inserted and fastened into the grooves formed by the recesses 14, 15.
