Abstract

1. A drinks crate of plastics material with side walls which in part are provided with openings therethrough, and a bottom, and transverse walls which interconnect oppositely disposed wall portions and which form receiving compartments for the material to be kept in the crate, wherein provided in the transitional region of the transverse walls to the side walls are openings which are provided both from the upper edge region of the transverse walls and also from the edge region which is towards the bottom, characterised in that the openings (8, 9) at least partially overlap, forming a material bridge (10), and extend over more than half the height of the compartment walls.
