Abstract

1. A retractable rotary-knob unit for adjusting the switching or control devices disposed behind a switch panel in domestic appliances such as cookers, washing machines or the like, which comprises a rotary knob (1), a compression spring acting in the axial direction on the rotary knob (1), a sleeve-like sliding member (2) formed on the rotary knob (1), a guide sleeve (3) fitted into the sliding member (2) and having a central socket insert (4), and a closed channel (6) proved at one wall side (5) of the guide sleeve and having a detent position (7) for a sliding pin (9), characterised by the following features : the sliding pin (9) is part of a movably mounted separate holder (10), the holder (10) is provided with a pivot pin (11), the pivot pin (11) is guided for pivoting in a bearing (12) provided in the rotary knob (1), associated with the top of the holder (10) is a spring element (13) which is supported against the inner wall of the sliding member (2) and holds the sliding pin (9) in engagement with the channel (6), the spring element (13) is coupled to the pivot pin (11) of the holder (10).

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen versenkbaren Drehknebel nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a retractable rotary knob according to the preamble of claim 1.

Aus der DE-C-22 50 621 ist ein versenkbarer Drehknebel dieser Art bekannt. Bei diesem versenkbaren Drehknebel ist der die geschlossene Nutbahn durchfahrende Gleitstift (Zapfen) fester Bestandteil des Drehknebels. Dies hat zur Folge, daß beim Versenkungsvorgang des Drehknebels ein großer Kraftaufwand erforderlich ist, der sich daraus ergibt, daß beim Durchfahren der geschlossenen Nutbahn mit dem starren Gleitstift (Zapfen) große Reibungskräfte zu überwinden sind. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß sich an der geschlossenen Nutbahn durch die große Beanspruchung beim Durchfahren mit dem starren Gleitstift (Zapfen) schon bald mechanische Abnützungserscheinungen bemerkbar machen. Diese führen dann dazu, daß eine sichere Funktion nicht mehr gewährleistet ist und oftmals der Drehknebel beim Ausführen des Versenkungsvorgangs nicht sicher verrastet und nach Loslassen nicht in die versenkte Ruhestellung sondern wider in die ausgefahrene Betriebsstellung zurückspringt.From DE-C-22 50 621 a retractable rotary knob of this type is known. Die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Drehknebeleinheit besteht im wesentlichen aus dem geriffelten Drehknebel 1, an dem eine quadratisch ausgebildete Führungshülse 2 angeformt ist, und eine in die Führungshülse passende ebenso ausgebildete Knebelwelle 3, welche einen zentrischen Steckeinsatz 4 aufweist. Der Steckeinsatz dient zur Herstellung einer Steckverbindung zum Einstellen einer nicht dargestellten Schalt- oder Regeleinrichtung, wie sie in Haushalts, geräten (Herde, Waschmaschinen, Geschirrspülmaschinen, Wäschetrockner usw.) Verwendung findet. Im Innern des Drehhebels 1 ist die nicht sichtbare Drehfeder untergebracht, die sich gegen die in der Führungshülse 2 endende Stirnseite der Knebelwelle 3 abstützt. In der einen Mantelseite 5 der Knebelwelle 3 ist eine geschlossene Nutbahn 6 eingebracht. An dem einen Ende der Nutbahn 6 ist eine Raststelle 7 gebildet, während das andere Ende der Nutbahn in eine Anschlagstelle 8 übergeht. Die Nutbahn 6 dient zur Führung eines Gleitstiftes 9, der Bestandteil eines beweglichen Halters 10 ist. Der Halter 10 besitzt oberseitig einen Lagerzapfen 11, der in einem im Mantel des Drehknebels 1 eingebrachten Hohlniet 12 beweglich geführt ist. Parallel zur Oberseite des Halters 10 ist ein etwa U-förmig gebogenes Blattfederelement 13 angeordnet, das sich gegen die innere Wandung der Führungshülse 2 abstützt und damit zwischen dieser und dem Halter 10 verläuft. Für das Blattfederelement 13 ist in der Wandung der Führungshülse 2 zweckmäßig eine Führungsnut 14 ausgeformt. Das Blattfederelement 13 ist mit dem den federnden Teil entgegengesetztem Ende am Lagerzapfen 11 des Halters 10 angebracht, so daß damit beide Teile (Halter 10 und Blattfederelement 13) Bestandteil des Drehknebels 1 und gelenkig bzw. beweglich mit diesem gekoppelt sind.The rotary toggle unit shown in the drawing consists essentially of the corrugated rotary toggle 1, on which a square-shaped guide sleeve 2 is formed, and a toggle shaft 3, which is designed to fit into the guide sleeve and has a central plug insert 4. Soll der Drehknebel 1 in seine Ruhestellung (Versenkstellung) gebracht werden, so wird dieser gegen die Kraft der erwähnten Druckfeder im Innern des Drehknebels axial gegenüber der Knebelwelle 3 verschoben. Der bewegliche Gleitstift 8, der mittels dem auf dem Gleitstift-Halter 10 einwirkenden Blattfederelement 13 in die Nutbahn 6 gedrückt wird, fährt in der Nutbahn 6 entlang, bis er in die Raststelle 7 kippt. Mit Loslassen des Drehknebels 1 ist dessen Ruhestellung (Versenkstellung) gesichert. Durch ein kurzzeitiges Antippen des Drehknebels 1 kann die Raststellung wieder aufgehoben werden.
  • Der Drehknebel 1 wird dann durch Entspannen der Druckfeder im Innern des Drehknebels automatisch in seine Betriebsstellung gebracht.
