Claims (13)

1. Elektromagnetische Gießvorrichtung, mit einer Einrichtung (15, 16) zum kontinuierlichen Zuführen von zu gießendem Material zu einer Gießzone,.einem Induktor (11), einer Stromquelle (17) zur Zuführung von Strom zu dem Induktor, um ein magnetisches Feld in der genannten Zone zu bilden und dem Gießmaterial darin eine gewünschte Gestalt (C) zu geben, einer Einrichtung (12) zur Zuführung von Kühlmittel zu der Oberfläche des Gießmaterials, einer Einrichtung (22) zum Abziehen des Gießmaterials von der Gießzone, und einer Einrichtung (18) zum Steuern der Stromquelle (17) in Abhängigkeit von Änderungen des hydrostatischen Drucks in der Säule (19) geschmolzenen Materials in der Gießzone, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorrichtung zusätzlich eine Einrichtung zur automatischen Steuerung der Zufuhrrate des genannten Materials zur Gießzone in Abhängigkeit von den genannten Änderungen des hydrostatischen Drucks und zur Minimierung der genannten Änderungen hierdurch aufweist.

Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorrichtung eine Einrichtung (49, 51, 53) zum Erfassen eines elektrischen Signals aufweist, das der genannten Steuereinrichtung (18) und/oder der genannten Stromquelle (17) zugeführt oder das von der genannten Steuereinrichtung (18) und/oder der genannten Stromquelle (17) abgeleitet wird, wobei das elektrische Signal sich entsprechend Änderungen im genannten hydrostatischen Druck ändert, und daß die Vorrichtung eine Einrichtung (37), die auf die genannte Erfassungseinrichtung (49, 51, 53) anspricht, zum Betätigen der automatischen Steuereinrichtung aufweist.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die genannte Erfassungseinrichtung (49, 51, 53) derart arbeitet, daß sie eirr Fehlersignal (A) von der Steuereinrichtung an die Stromquelle (17) zum Zweck der Regulierung des Ausgangs bzw. der Ausgangsleistung von der Stromquelle (17) zum Induktor (11) erfaßt.
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die genannte Erfassungseinrichtung (49, 51, 53) derart arbeitet, daß sie- die-Frequenz, die Spannung oder die Stromstärke, die dem Induktor (11) von der Stromquelle (17) zugeführt werden, erfaßt.

Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2,. 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Einrichtung (37), die auf die genannte Erfassungseinrichtung (49, 51, 53) anspricht, eine Steuerschaltung zum Empfangen des erfaßten elektrischen Signals, zum Vergleichen dieses Signals mit einem Referenzsignal (P) und zum Erzeugen eines Ausgangssignals (V) aufweist, wobei die genannte automatische Steuereinrichtung auf das genannte Ausgangssignal (V) anspricht.

Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, bei der die Einrichtung (15, 16) zum kontinuierlichen Zuführen von zu gießendem Material zur Gießzone ein Reservoir (15) für eine Zufuhrmenge des genannten Materials im geschmolzenen Zustand sowie eine Einrichtung (16) zum Zuführen des geschmolzenen Materials von dem Reservoir zu der Gießzone aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die genannte automatische Steuereinrichtung derart arbeitet, daß sie das Strömen des geschmolzenen Materials von der Vorratsmenge zur Gießzone steuert.
7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die automatische Steuereinrichtung ein Ventil (27) aufweist, das im Strömungsweg des geschmolzenen Materials von der Vorratsmenge zur Gießzone angeordnet ist.

Elektromagnetisches Gießverfahren, unter kontinuierlicher Zuführung eines zu gießenden Materials zu einer Gießzone, die das Material durch Einwirkung eines elektromagnetischen Feldes in der Gießzone in geschmolzenem Zustand enthält, unter Aufbringung eines Kühlmittels auf die Oberfläche (13) des Gießmateriais, und unter Abziehen des erstarrten Gießmaterials (C) von der Gießzone, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Änderungen des hydrostatischen Drucks innerhalb des geschmolzenen Materials in der Gießzone durch Erfassen von Änderungen des hydrostatischen Drucks im geschmolzenen Material in der Gießzone und durch automatisches Einstellen der Zuführrate des Materials zu der genannten Zone in Abhängigkeit von den genannten Änderungen minimiert werden.

Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, bei dem das genannte Material einer Goeßzone zugeführt wird, das von einem Induktor (11) umgeben ist, und bei dem dem Induktor Strom zugeführt wird, um in der genannten Zone das elektromagnetische Feld zu erzeugen, das das Material im geschmolzenen Zustand in der genannten Zone in einer gewünschten Gestalt hält, und bei dem ein elektrisches Signal erzeugt wird, das den genannten Änderungen proportional ist, und bei dem der Strom zum Induktor (11) in Abhängigkeit von diesem Signal gesteuert wird, wodurch die gewünschte Gestalt beibehalten wird, und bei dem dieses Signal erfaßt wird, und bei dem automatisch die Zufuhrrate des genannten Materials zur Gießzone in Abhängigkeit von diesem Signal eingestellt wird.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das erfaßte Signal ein Fehlersignal (A) ist. das zur Steuerung des Stromflusses zum lnduktor(11) verwendet wird.
1.1. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das erfaßte Signal sich auf die Stromstärke, die Frequenz oder die Spannung der Zuführung zum lnduktor(11) bezieht.
12. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das genannte Material der Gießzone im geschmolzenen Zustand zugeführt wird und daß die Zufuhrrate des genannten Materials zur Gießzone durch automatische Einstellung der Strömungsrate des. geschmolzenen Materiais zur Gießzone gesteuert wird.
13. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 8 bis 12, bei dem das Gießmaterial ein Metall oder eine Legierung ist.
