Claims (7)

1. A ventilation device for installation in window or door frame, comprising a tube mounting means which is apertured transversely to its longitudinal direction, and a tube which is arranged rotatably therein and which is provided in its central plane with an air through-flow opening, characterised in that the tube mounting means is formed from two partial shell members (10) which are arranged in mirror image relationship with each other and which comprise shaped plastics members (4, 4a) which are of the same cross- section and which are provided with lugs for positively mounting on the one hand a weather board member (1) and on the other hand an ornamental grill (3), a plate grill (29) or the like, and that the rotatable tube (12) also comprises two partial shell members (13) which comprise extruded metal members and which are joined together by shaped members (14, 14a) made from plastics material.
2. A ventilation device according to claim 1, characterised in that upper and lower shaped angle members (5, 6) are connected to the lugs of the shaped plastics members (4, 4a) and mount the ornamental grill (3), the plate grill (29) or the like and are joined together by a plurality of connecting limb portions (8).
3. A ventilation device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the shaped plastics members (4) are in the form of hollow members and that the partial shell members (10) are each provided in their edge regions with respective continuous brush-type seals (11).
4. A ventilation device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the shaped plastics members (4a) are in the form of solid members.
5. A ventilation device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the ventilation device is closed at its ends by respective closure caps (15, 16).
6. A ventilation device according to claim 5, characterised in that a drive means (17) is provided in one of the closure caps (16), for rotating the tube (12) in the tube mounting means.
7. A ventilation device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the shaped members (14a) are provided with projections (28) which project in a sickle-like configuration into the interior of the tube (12) so that the free air through-flow slot extends within the tube (12) in an arcuate configuration.
