Definitions
- the invention relates to a desk with a immediately below the table top on the back of the desk, removable and guided in the desk channel, with a U or L-shaped profile for receiving cables and wires, the outer leg in the retracted state with the Desk wall is aligned and has openings for the passage of cables and wires.
- Desks with channels for receiving cables and lines are known in various embodiments.
- the channel is embedded in the table top and either covered with a flap or accessible through a continuous slot.
- the sliding design of the table top requires a great deal of effort.
- the cables are routed through slots in the vertical wall of the cable duct.
- the latter construction has the disadvantage that the supply of the lines to the horizontal cable duct is not solved.
- the invention has for its object to provide a desk of the type mentioned with a channel for the laying of lines and cables so that on the one hand the introduction of the cables and cables coming from a floor socket into the horizontal channel in a simple manner and without great effort is possible and that on the other hand the cable duct in the desk is arranged and designed so that jamming the same when pulling out is avoided with certainty and a concatenation of several desks standing next to each other is possible.
- This object is achieved in that at least on one side of the channel running parallel to the table top a perpendicular to this and pointing downward further channel is attached, which can be moved together with the first channel and into a recess in the side cheek or the base of the Desk is insertable and has a connection to the horizontal channel.
- the cable can therefore be easily inserted into the vertical and horizontal channel in one operation. After inserting these channels in the rear wall of the desk or in the side panels or the base frame, the cables are covered so that neither the aesthetic appearance of the desk is impaired nor a risk of accidents from cables lying loosely on the floor or hanging down.
- the horizontally running and the vertically running channels are flexibly connected to one another. This makes it possible for the cable duct to be pulled out of its guide only on the side cheek or the base frame, on which the cable is to be inserted.
- an extruded profile is preferably formed in one piece in both the vertical and horizontal channel and made of a flexible material.
- the channels are attached to the extruded profile, so that a flexible connection is achieved in a simple manner between the vertical channels and the horizontal channel.
- the horizontal channel is provided, at least at its two ends, with a guide which allows the channel to be pulled out completely on one side while the other side of the channel is still inserted in the desk.
- FIG. 1 the rear view of a desk 1 is shown in a perspective view.
- the desk 1 has a base frame 2, 3, on which the table top 4 and the cabinet 5 are attached. Below the table top 4 there is a channel 6 which, as can be seen in FIG. 2, can be pulled out of the desk.
- the channel 6 is formed by a horizontal channel 7 and two vertical channels 8 and 9.
- the horizontal channel and the two vertical channels are elastically connected to one another, e.g. is shown in Fig. 3.
- the elastic connection is achieved in that an extruded section 10 is inserted into the channels 7 to 9 and divides the channels into several sections 11 and 12.
- the extruded profile consists of a flexible material and is attached to the channels 7 and 8 or 9. This extruded profile allows the channels 7 and 8 or 9 to tilt, as shown in FIG. 3. This makes it possible to use only one side, e.g. pull the channel 8 out of the base 2.
- the structure and the mode of operation of the cable duct can also be seen from FIG. 4.
- a guide 13, 14 is provided at each end of the channel 7, which guides the channel 6 when it is pulled out of the desk 1 and limits the pull-out movement. This ensures that the channel is also kept in the extended state, so that the cables can be easily inserted into it.
- the guide 13 consists of a bush 15, which is fastened to the base frame 2 or 3 and receives a rod 16 which slides in the bush 15.
- the rod 16 is fastened with its front end 17 in a holder 18, which is shown in FIGS. 8 to 10.
- the bracket 18 consists of a base plate 19 on which a web 20 with a recess 22 and 23 is attached.
- a cover cap 21 is placed over the web and the base plate 19.
- the front end of the rod 16 has a groove, the dimensions of which are somewhat smaller than the cutouts 22, 23.
- the cover cap 21 prevents the end 17 of the rod 16 from slipping out of the cutouts 22 and 23, respectively.
- the recess 22 consists of a vertical slot in the web 20, while the recess 23 has a further horizontal slot 25 which is connected to the vertical slot and which permits the end of the rod to be displaced in the horizontal direction relative to the holder 18.
- This design of the bracket 18 makes it possible to pull out only the side of the channel 6 into which cables are to be inserted. Furthermore, this design of the holder ensures that tilting of the very long channel 6 when pulling out is prevented with certainty.
- the lower end of the two channels 8, 9, which can be inserted into a recess in the base frame 2, as shown in FIG. 7, are connected to the base frame with their lower ends 26, 27 by scissors 28 (FIG. 4) .
- the advantage of this arrangement is that the channel 6 has sufficient rigidity for inserting the cables even in the fully extended state.
- the channel consists of a U-profile with an outer higher leg 29 and an inner lower leg 30.
- the inner leg 30 has approximately the same height as the extruded profile 10 inserted into the channel, which divides the channel 7 " into three sections 11, 12 and 31. In this way, the required separation for the low-voltage and high-voltage lines and, if necessary, lines for the supply of further media, for example for air conditioning, can be achieved in a simple manner.
- Fig. 7 the structure of the vertically extending part of the base frame 2 or 3 is shown.
- the base frame 2 has an opening on its end face 34, into which the channel 8, 9 is inserted.
- the channel consists of a straight leg 35 and a part 36 forming a rounded end cap.
- An extruded profile 10 is inserted into the channels 8, 9 and divides the channel into a number of sections 11, 12 and 31 for receiving the different lines in a known manner .
- openings are made in the side cheeks 2, 3, which merge into the channel 7.
- These openings 37 serve to enable a concatenation of several desks standing side by side on the front side. These openings allow the cables to be passed directly from one channel 7 of one desk to the adjacent channel of another desk, without the cables first having to be led down and then up again via the base frame.
- further openings 38 are provided in the lower region of the base frame, through which the cables can be inserted into the base frame. Both the openings 37 and the openings 38 are covered by sealing caps if they are not used.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a desk with a immediately below the table top on the back of the desk, removable and guided in the desk channel, with a U or L-shaped profile for receiving cables and wires, the outer leg in the retracted state with the Desk wall is aligned and has openings for the passage of cables and wires.
Desks with channels for receiving cables and lines are known in various embodiments. In a known desk, the channel is embedded in the table top and either covered with a flap or accessible through a continuous slot. Furthermore, it is known to arrange the cable duct below the table top at its rear end, the accessibility of the cable duct being achieved in that the table top is moved as a whole becomes. The sliding design of the table top, however, requires a great deal of effort. Furthermore, it is known to arrange the cable duct on the rear of the desk so that it can be pulled out, so that the cables can be inserted into it from above. The cables are routed through slots in the vertical wall of the cable duct. The latter construction has the disadvantage that the supply of the lines to the horizontal cable duct is not solved.
The invention has for its object to provide a desk of the type mentioned with a channel for the laying of lines and cables so that on the one hand the introduction of the cables and cables coming from a floor socket into the horizontal channel in a simple manner and without great effort is possible and that on the other hand the cable duct in the desk is arranged and designed so that jamming the same when pulling out is avoided with certainty and a concatenation of several desks standing next to each other is possible.
This object is achieved in that at least on one side of the channel running parallel to the table top a perpendicular to this and pointing downward further channel is attached, which can be moved together with the first channel and into a recess in the side cheek or the base of the Desk is insertable and has a connection to the horizontal channel. The horizontally extending and the or vertically extending channels, which are arranged in the side cheeks, form a unit, so that when these are pulled out, the cables or lines in the lie cable channels can be inserted. The cable can therefore be easily inserted into the vertical and horizontal channel in one operation. After inserting these channels in the rear wall of the desk or in the side panels or the base frame, the cables are covered so that neither the aesthetic appearance of the desk is impaired nor a risk of accidents from cables lying loosely on the floor or hanging down.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the horizontally running and the vertically running channels are flexibly connected to one another. This makes it possible for the cable duct to be pulled out of its guide only on the side cheek or the base frame, on which the cable is to be inserted.
For dividing the cable duct into several departments, e.g. is required for the separation of low and high current, it is proposed according to the invention to insert an extruded profile in the cable duct. This extruded profile is preferably formed in one piece in both the vertical and horizontal channel and made of a flexible material. The channels are attached to the extruded profile, so that a flexible connection is achieved in a simple manner between the vertical channels and the horizontal channel.
According to a further exemplary embodiment of the invention, the horizontal channel is provided, at least at its two ends, with a guide which allows the channel to be pulled out completely on one side while the other side of the channel is still inserted in the desk.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the subclaims.

- Fig. 8 to 10, the guide elements of the channel in the table, partly in section.
In Fig. 1 the rear view of a
The channel 6 is formed by a
23 herauszurutschen. The structure and the mode of operation of the cable duct can also be seen from FIG. 4. A
The
The lower end of the two
Leitungen für die Zufuhr weiterer Medien, z.B. für eine Klimatisierung.5 to 7, which show the
In Fig. 7 the structure of the vertically extending part of the
In an extension of the
