Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erzielung passergenauer Mehrfarbendrucke mit einer Bogen-Rotationsoffsetdruckmaschine, bei der der Bogen von einer Greiferbrücke mit durchgehend starr ausgebildeter Greiferaufschlagleiste eines Zylinders an eine entsprechende Greiferbrücke eines nachfolgenden Zylinders übergeben wird.The invention relates to a method for achieving register-accurate multi-color printing with a sheet-fed rotary offset printing machine, in which the sheet is transferred from a gripper bridge with a rigidly designed gripper bar of a cylinder to a corresponding gripper bridge of a subsequent cylinder.

Beim Mehrfarbendruck tritt aufgrund fehlerhafter Bogenübernahme und Bogenübergabe nicht selten eine Minderung der Druckqualität auf. Insbesondere sind solche Schwierigkeiten bei verspanntem, nicht planliegendem Papier zu erwarten. Als Mängel wurden festgestellt: Faltenbildung des Bogens, Engerdrucken bei Mehrfarbendruck oder Paßdifferenzen, die von Druckwerk zu Druckwerk bzw. bei zweimaligem Durchgang durch die Maschine entstehen. Eine Ursache von Qualitätsminderung der Drucke ist auch bei planliegendem Bogen darin zu suchen, daß dieser geringfügig faltig übernommen wird, oder daß bei einer Greiferübergabe mit seitlich nahe nebeneinanderliegenden Greifern von einem ersten zu einem zweiten Zylinder Wellenbildung entsteht. Eine in dieser Weise fehlerhafte Bogenübergabe bewirkt Spannungen im Bogenvorderkantenbereich, die wiederum eine Veränderung des Bogens während des nachfolgenden Drucks auslösen, was dann z. Diese bekannten Korrekturvorrichtungen sind sehr aufwendig und dienen lediglich dazu, ein bereits eingetretenes Engerdrucken zu korrigieren. Vorzugsweise werden dann die beiden Greifergruppen nacheinander, also im Wechsel, ein- oder zweimal geöffnet und geschlossen. Diese Ausgestaltung besteht bei einem zwangsweise schließenden Greifersystem in einer Ausnehmung 15 der Greiferwellensteuerkurve 14, während bei einem nicht zwangsweise schließenden Greifersystem die Greiferwellensteuerkurve 14 eine Erhöhung 16 aufweist. Durch diese Maßnahme ist es möglich, auf einfache und billige Weise die Entspannung eines beispielsweise von einem Druckzylinder 3 übernommenen Bogens zu bewirken. Ist nämlich der nicht dargestellte Bogen von der Greiferbrücke 2 des Druckzylinders 3 übernommen worden, so erreicht die Kurvenrolle 17 der Greiferwelle 5 die obenerwähnte geringe Ausnehmung 15 bzw. die Erhöhung 16 der Greiferwellensteuerkurve 14 und bewirkt das Abheben aller jener Greifer 1 von der Greiferaufschlagleiste 8, die einen geringen Abstand 13 aufweisen, während die übrigen Greifer 1 mit dem größeren Abstand 13 weiterhin aufgrund der Druckspannung der Druckfeder 7 im Zusammenwirken mit der Greiferaufschlagleiste 8 den Bogen festhalten. Claims (4)

1. A method for producing in-register multi-color prints on a sheet-feed offset printing press, in which the sheet is transferred from a group (2) of grippers having a gripper pad rail (8) which is stiff along its full length, of one cylinder to a further group (2) of grippers of a cylinder coming thereafter, characterized in that after take-up of the sheet but before the start of printing or before the transfer of the next sheet some, but not all, of the grippers (1) of the group (2) of grippers gripping the sheet are opened for a short time so that pulling forces acting on the edge of the sheet because of sheet-waviness are put an end to or decreased automatically without the use of any further system.
