Description

  • La présente invention concerne un non-tissé dont la structure frisée ou ondulée lui confère d'excellentes propriétés d'absorption permettant notamment son emploi en tant que compresse médicale ou chirurgicale.
  • Actuellement les compresses médicales sont obtenues à partir d'un tissu léger - appelé gaze à pansements - (grammage compris entre 25 et 28 g/m2) dont la fabrication nécessite l'emploi d'un matériel de tissage coûteux et peu performant. Ce tissu est ensuite plié et découpé en plusieurs dimensions : puis, chaque compresse est, en général, enveloppée individuellement et stérilisée.
  • Les compresses en gaze traditionnelle sont des produits très plats, adhérant aux plaies et présentant un coefficient d'absorption des fluides assez faible. En outre, leurs caractéristiques d'élasticité et de résilience sont très nettement insuffisantes.
  • De nombreuses recherches ont visé à remplacer la gaze par des non-tissés obtenus par voie sèche, par voie humide ou par la technique dite « spun-bonded et composés de mélanges de fibres synthétiques et/ou naturelles.
  • Si les propriétés des compresses en non-tissé sont sensiblement supérieures à celles fabriquées en gaze, pour ce qui est notamment de la non-adhérence aux plaies, elles restent cependant très en deçà de ce qui est désiré quant à la capacité d'absorption.
  • On connaît par le brevet US-A-4 001 472 un non-tissé comprenant au moins un voile de fibres cellulosiques renforcé par une grille non-tissée à laquelle il est fixé au moyen d'un adhésif. Le voile présente un réseau de zones comprimées destinées à former des points de liaison avec les fils de la grille. La surface collée étant réduite à ces points, on évite le blocage de canaux capillaires par lesquels les liquides diffusent dans toute la masse. On améliore ainsi la capacité d'absorption des non-tissés de ce type. Cependant l'emploi d'un adhésif, comme de tout liant chimique, dans un tel produit le rend impropre à un usage médical à cause des risques de dissolution par les désinfectants. Par ailleurs ce produit reste très plat, l'épaisseur apparente coïncidant avec celle du matériau.
  • La présente invention concerne un non-tissé compatible avec un usage médical ou chirurgical palliant les défauts des non-tissés et de la gaze traditionnels. Sa structure particulière permet d'allier des propriétés telles que capacité d'absorption élevée, non-adhérence aux plaies, élasticité et résilience.
  • D'une manière générale ce non-tissé pour compresse médicale ou chirurgicale présente une succession d'ondulations uniformément réparties et dont les ventres adjacents sont alternativement disposés au-dessus et au-dessous du plan médian du non-tissé et est constitué d'une grille synthétique sur une des faces de laquelle est fixé par thermoliage un voile de fibres cellulosiques.
  • En particulier, les ventres contigus de deux ondulations voisines, situés d'un même côté du plan médian du non-tissé sont constitués de petits coussinets adjacents.
  • Le brevet FR-A-2 418 819 montre bien un produit fibreux présentant des ondulations mais d'une part, il comporte une quantité notable de liant le rendant impropre à l'usage médical, d'autre part, les ondulations n'ont qu'une fonction soit décorative soit structurale pour améliorer la rigidité.
  • L'invention sera mieux comprise à l'aide des dessins, lesquels représentent des exemples non limitatifs de réalisation du non-tissé :
    • la figure 1 est une vue de dessus du non-tissé,
    • la figure 2 est une vue en coupe de la figure 1 selon un plan parallèle au sens machine du non-tissé,
    • la figure 3 est une vue en coupe de la figure 1 selon un plan perpendiculaire au sens machine du non-tissé,
    • la figure 4 est une vue en perspective d'un non-tissé constitué d'une grille synthétique et d'un voile de fibres cellulosiques.
  • La figure 1 est une vue de dessus d'un non-tissé (1) qui présente un sens machine (2), correspondant au sens longitudinal de production dudit non-tissé, et un sens travers (3) perpendiculaire au sens machine (2).
  • Ce non-tissé (1) comporte des ondulations ou frisures régulièrement espacées et disposées le long de lignes (5) parallèles au sens machine (2).
  • La figure 2 qui est une en coupe de ta figure 1 selon AA, plan parallèle au sens machine (2), montre que le non-tissé présente des ondulations (4) dont les ventres (6, 7) sont alternativement au-dessus et au-dessous de son plan médian (8).
  • La figure 3 qui est une vue en coupe de la figure 1 selon BB, plan perpendiculaire au sens machine (2), montre que les ventres contigus (9, 10) d'ondulations voisines sont constitués de petits coussinets adjacents (11, 12) situés d'un même côté du plan médian (8) du non-tissé. En arrière du plan de coupe on voit le profil des coussinets situés en dessous du plan médian (8). La hauteur et la largeur de ces coussinets sont comprises entre 0,1 et 3 mm.
  • La figure 4 présente une forme préférée de l'invention : le non-tissé est constitué d'une grille synthétique (13) formée de filaments (15) d'un premier polymère enrobés dans une gaine d'un second polymère et reliés par de fines lamelles (16) du second polymère, grille sur une face de laquelle est déposé un voile de fibres cellulosiques (14).
  • Le voile (14) est thermolié à la grille (13) : ainsi le non-tissé ne comporte aucun liant chimique et peut donc être utilisé en tant que compresse médicale ou chirurgicale.
  • Selon une forme préférée de l'invention la grille synthétique (13) est une grille bi-étirée comportant dans le sens machine (2) des filaments de polyamide parallèles (15) régulièrement espacés d'une distance comprise entre 0,1 et 3 mm et reliés entre eux par des bandes étroites de polypropylène (16) régulièrement espacées d'une distance comprise entre 0,1 et 3 mm et perpendiculaires aux filaments (15). Le voile (14) de fibres cellulosiques est constitué d'un voile de carde de fibres de coton.
  • En outre, ce non-tissé présente l'avantage d'être plus léger que la gaze traditionnelle. La grille (13) a un grammage compris entre 5 et 15 g/m2 de préférence 7 g/m2 et le voile de fibres cellulosiques (14) un grammage compris entre 10 et 20 g/m2, de préférence 16 g/m2.
  • Sa densité apparente est inférieure à 0,15 - de préférence 0,1 - et sa capacité d'absorption est supérieure à 13 cm3/g - de préférence 16 cm3/g.
  • Le tableau ci-après donne les résultats de mesures effectuées sur le non-tissé selon l'invention, sur de la gaze traditionnelle et sur un non-tissé de commerce dénommé PELY-TEX :

Claims (12)

1. Non-tissé (1) pour compresse médicale ou chirurgicale, possédant un sens machine (2) et un sens travers (3) caractérisé en ce qu'il présente une succession d'ondulations (4) uniformément réparties selon des lignes (5) parallèles au sens machine (2) et dont les ventres adjacents (6, 7) sont alternativement disposés au-dessus et au-dessous du plan (8) dudit non-tissé et en ce qu'il est constitué d'une grille synthétique (13) sur une des faces de laquelle est fixé un voile (14) de fibres cellulosiques par thermoliage.
2. Non-tissé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les ventres contigus (9, 10) de deux ondulations voisines, situés d'un même côté du plan médian (8) sont constitués de petits coussinets (11, 12) adjacents.
3. Non-tissé selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la hauteur de chaque coussinet au-dessus du plan médian (8) est comprise entre 0,1 et 3 mm.
4. Non-tissé selon l'une des revendications 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que la largeur de chaque coussinet est comprise entre 0,1 et 3 mm.
5. Non-tissé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la grille synthétique (13) est une grille bi-étirée comportant dans le sens machine (2) des filaments de polyamide parallèles (15) régulièrement espacés d'une distance comprise entre 0,1 et 3 mm, reliés entre eux par des bandes étroites de polypropylène (16) régulièrement espacées d'une distance comprise entre 0,1 et 3 mm et perpendiculaires aux filaments (15).
6. Non-tissé selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 5, caractérisé en ce que le voile (14) de fibres cellulosiques est un voile de carde de fibres de coton.
7. Non-tissé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes caractérisé en ce que le grammage de la grille synthétique (13) est compris entre 5 et 15 g/cm2 et en ce que le grammage du voile de fibres cellulosiques est compris entre 10 et 20 g/m2.
8. Non-tissé selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le grammage de la grille synthétique (13) est de 7 g/m2 et en ce que le grammage du voile de carde de fibres de coton est de 16 g/m2.
9. Non-tissé selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que sa densité apparente est inférieure à 0,15 et son coefficient d'absorption d'eau supérieur à 13 cm3/g.
10. Non-tissé selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que sa densité apparente est de 0,1 et son coefficient d'absorption est de 16 cm3/g.
11. Non-tissé selon la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce que son épaisseur est d'environ 0,24 mm.
12. Compresse médicale fabriquée à partir d'un non-tissé selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce qu'elle est pliée de façon à ce que la partie destinée à venir en contact avec une plaie, soit constituée de la grille synthétique (13) nue.
