Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for SZ stranding by means of a stranding disk, in which the stranding elements are guided along the surface of a tube storage device which is driven in a reversing manner and serves as a guide and storage body.
- Stranding devices of this type are known for example from DE-PS 682 267, a rotating stranding disk being provided at the outlet of the tube store.
- the basic structure of such a stranding device is shown in FIG. 1, the tube store serving as a guide and storage body being designated RO.
- the tube storage device RO is rotated alternately for a certain period of time in one or the opposite direction by means of a reversibly operating drive device (not shown here) indicated by an arrow RE.
- the drive can take place, for example, via a gearwheel attached to the extension of the tube store RO, which is moved by a toothed belt.
- the stranding elements are guided over a fixed, input-side guide perforated disk FS which has a corresponding number of axially running bores for receiving the stranding elements VE.
- This guide perforated disc FS is firmly connected on its outside to a corresponding frame or housing.
- a stranding disk VS which is rotatably mounted on its outside via a bearing LA and is fixedly connected to the tube store RO and possibly also driven separately, and has corresponding axial bores for receiving the stranding elements VE.
- the stranding elements VE are guided at the outlet of the SZ stranding device via a stranding nipple VN.
- the supplied stranding elements VE roll on the outer surface of the rotating tube store RO and transmit the torque that arises from the points of the most unrolling in the area of the perforated guide plate FS to places of less unwinding in the area of the stranding disk VS.
- the stranding disk VS itself is a rolling brake, depending on the distribution of the frictional forces, torques are transmitted from the entry area at FS to the stranding area, depending on the torsional rigidity of the stranding elements VE faster or slower.
- the braking torques on the stranding disk VS are compensated for directly or with a delay, so that the stranding itself takes place with little or no torsion.
- Too much concentration occurs especially when stranding elements with a soft sheath (e.g. PVC, PE, rubber for thin metallic conductors or strands) or optical fibers with a soft sheath are to be stranded. Such an excessive concentration not only leads to greater frictional forces, but in the extreme case even to the buckling of the stranding element behind the perforated guide plate FS.
- a soft sheath e.g. PVC, PE, rubber for thin metallic conductors or strands
- optical fibers with a soft sheath are to be stranded.
- the present invention which relates to a device of the type mentioned at the outset, is based on the object of avoiding, as far as possible, excessive concentration of the stranding elements in the tube store with simple means.
- this is achieved in a device of the type mentioned at the outset by providing a sleeve which extends only over part of the tube store and is mounted in such a way that it does not follow the movement of the tube store.
- the sleeve prevents the stranding elements from unrolling too much.
- the impact concentration can thus be damped in a targeted manner and a more even distribution of the stranding elements along the tube store can be ensured.
- the sleeve is arranged to be displaceable in the axial direction, so that the area of the tube store which is covered by the sleeve can be adapted to the type of stranding elements.
- a sleeve HL is provided, which does not participate in the rotary movement of the tube store RO.
- the stranding elements VE passing through the axial bores of the guide perforated disk FS in the area of the sleeve HL are braked in their tendency to roll off the subsequent rotating storage part of RO. Only at the right end of the sleeve HL are the stranding elements VE carried along by the surface of the tube store RO due to the frictional forces.
- these rolling processes also act in the area of the sleeve HL, although, as a comparison between FIGS. 1 and 2 shows that the lay length in the area of the sleeve HL remains greater than in the corresponding left parts of the tube store RO in FIG. 1.
- the sleeve HL is designed to be displaceable in the axial direction, the area at which the transition from the sleeve HL to the tube store RO occurs can be adapted to the respective properties of the stranding elements. It is expedient if the length of the sleeve HL covers approximately between 5% and 20%, preferably around 10% of the length of the tube store RO.
- the guide perforated disk FS can be used directly to hold the sleeve HL, since the guide perforated disk FS is also fixed.
- the outside diameter of the sleeve HL is chosen to be as little as possible larger than the outside diameter of the tube store RO, so that the smallest possible jump in diameter occurs at the transition point between the sleeve HL and the tube store RO.
- the sleeve HL is appropriately dimensioned so that the tube storage RO rubs only weakly with its surface on the inner surface of the sleeve HL.
- the sleeve HL can also be rotated to a certain extent, but its speed is always lower than the speed of the tube store RO. This means that also in this case the sleeve HL does not participate in the movement of the tube store RO. A sufficiently large slip thus always remains between the sleeve HL and the tube store RO. A drive via the stranding elements VE can optionally be used to stretch the sleeve HL. In these cases, the sleeve HL can be easily rotatably supported.
- a concentration of the stranding elements VE can also occur at the outlet end of the tube store RO, e.g. B. if the tube store RO runs slower than the stranding disc VS.
- a sleeve HL ' (indicated by dash-dotted lines) can be provided in the area of the stranding disk VS.
- This sleeve HL ' like the sleeve HL, can be designed to be displaceable and can be mounted in a manner similar to this. This embodiment is particularly useful when the stranding disk VS is driven independently and preferably faster than the tube store RO.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for SZ stranding by means of a stranding disk, in which the stranding elements are guided along the surface of a tube storage device which is driven in a reversing manner and serves as a guide and storage body.
Stranding devices of this type are known for example from DE-PS 682 267, a rotating stranding disk being provided at the outlet of the tube store. The basic structure of such a stranding device is shown in FIG. 1, the tube store serving as a guide and storage body being designated RO. The tube storage device RO is rotated alternately for a certain period of time in one or the opposite direction by means of a reversibly operating drive device (not shown here) indicated by an arrow RE. The drive can take place, for example, via a gearwheel attached to the extension of the tube store RO, which is moved by a toothed belt. The stranding elements, only one of which is shown in the present example and labeled VE, are guided over a fixed, input-side guide perforated disk FS which has a corresponding number of axially running bores for receiving the stranding elements VE. This guide perforated disc FS is firmly connected on its outside to a corresponding frame or housing. At the outlet of the tube store RO there is a stranding disk VS which is rotatably mounted on its outside via a bearing LA and is fixedly connected to the tube store RO and possibly also driven separately, and has corresponding axial bores for receiving the stranding elements VE. The stranding elements VE are guided at the outlet of the SZ stranding device via a stranding nipple VN.
Depending on the frictional connection, the supplied stranding elements VE roll on the outer surface of the rotating tube store RO and transmit the torque that arises from the points of the most unrolling in the area of the perforated guide plate FS to places of less unwinding in the area of the stranding disk VS. Since the stranding disk VS itself is a rolling brake, depending on the distribution of the frictional forces, torques are transmitted from the entry area at FS to the stranding area, depending on the torsional rigidity of the stranding elements VE faster or slower. In the stranding area, the braking torques on the stranding disk VS are compensated for directly or with a delay, so that the stranding itself takes place with little or no torsion. In extreme cases, overcompensation is even conceivable. The forced unwinding at the end of stranding at VS usually leads to a (desired) increased lay length when roping on the tube store RO and at the same time with increasing filling of the tube store RO to an (undesirable) concentration of blows z. B. in the inlet area at the guide perforated disc FS The distribution of the stranding elements VE over the length of the tube store RO is thus, as can be seen from the illustration, uneven. The rolling in the inlet area of the guide perforated disc FS has an axial component, which further reinforces this process.
Too much concentration occurs especially when stranding elements with a soft sheath (e.g. PVC, PE, rubber for thin metallic conductors or strands) or optical fibers with a soft sheath are to be stranded. Such an excessive concentration not only leads to greater frictional forces, but in the extreme case even to the buckling of the stranding element behind the perforated guide plate FS.
The present invention, which relates to a device of the type mentioned at the outset, is based on the object of avoiding, as far as possible, excessive concentration of the stranding elements in the tube store with simple means.
According to the invention, this is achieved in a device of the type mentioned at the outset by providing a sleeve which extends only over part of the tube store and is mounted in such a way that it does not follow the movement of the tube store.
The sleeve prevents the stranding elements from unrolling too much. The impact concentration can thus be damped in a targeted manner and a more even distribution of the stranding elements along the tube store can be ensured.
An advantageous further development of the invention provides that the sleeve is arranged to be displaceable in the axial direction, so that the area of the tube store which is covered by the sleeve can be adapted to the type of stranding elements.
Other developments of the invention are given in the dependent claims.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in Fig. 2. The same reference numerals are used for matching parts as in the arrangement of FIG. 1. To avoid undesirable concentration effects such. B. in the area of the inlet, ie after the guide perforated disk FS, a sleeve HL is provided, which does not participate in the rotary movement of the tube store RO. As a result, the stranding elements VE passing through the axial bores of the guide perforated disk FS in the area of the sleeve HL are braked in their tendency to roll off the subsequent rotating storage part of RO. Only at the right end of the sleeve HL are the stranding elements VE carried along by the surface of the tube store RO due to the frictional forces. To a certain extent, these rolling processes also act in the area of the sleeve HL, although, as a comparison between FIGS. 1 and 2 shows that the lay length in the area of the sleeve HL remains greater than in the corresponding left parts of the tube store RO in FIG. 1.
Because the sleeve HL, as indicated by the arrow AX, is designed to be displaceable in the axial direction, the area at which the transition from the sleeve HL to the tube store RO occurs can be adapted to the respective properties of the stranding elements. It is expedient if the length of the sleeve HL covers approximately between 5% and 20%, preferably around 10% of the length of the tube store RO.
The guide perforated disk FS can be used directly to hold the sleeve HL, since the guide perforated disk FS is also fixed.
It is expedient if the outside diameter of the sleeve HL is chosen to be as little as possible larger than the outside diameter of the tube store RO, so that the smallest possible jump in diameter occurs at the transition point between the sleeve HL and the tube store RO. The sleeve HL is appropriately dimensioned so that the tube storage RO rubs only weakly with its surface on the inner surface of the sleeve HL.
The sleeve HL can also be rotated to a certain extent, but its speed is always lower than the speed of the tube store RO.
In some cases, a concentration of the stranding elements VE can also occur at the outlet end of the tube store RO, e.g. B. if the tube store RO runs slower than the stranding disc VS. In order to counteract this influence, in addition to the sleeve HL shown in FIG. 2 at the end on the input side or also independently thereof, a sleeve HL '(indicated by dash-dotted lines) can be provided in the area of the stranding disk VS. This sleeve HL ', like the sleeve HL, can be designed to be displaceable and can be mounted in a manner similar to this. This embodiment is particularly useful when the stranding disk VS is driven independently and preferably faster than the tube store RO. It may be expedient to firmly connect this sleeve HL 'to the stranding disk VS. There is a difference between the movement of the sleeve HL 'and that of the tube store RO, the movement of which the sleeve HL' thus also does not participate.
