4..Lapping machine according to Claim 1, characterized in that the means for varying the threshold of the voltmeter comprise a stepping motor 24, a control screw 27 which is fast in rotation with the shaft 26 of this motor but free in translation with respect thereto, and is mounted in a fixed nut 28, an electronic sensor 30-31 which is controlled by the screw and connected to the voltmeter 16, and means for rotating the shaft of the stepping motor as a function of the wear of the lapping tool or the drift of dimension.

Lapping machine according to Claim 4, characterized in that the stepping motor 24 comprises a first input E'3 adapted to rotate the motor by a step in one direction when a pulse is received at this input, and a second input E'4 adapted to rotate the motor by a step in the opposite direction when a pulse is received at this second input.
6. Lapping machine according to Claims 4 to 5, characterized in that it comprises a disc 29 fast with the screw 27, two contacts 32 and 33 disposed on either side of the disc 29 and adapted to be actuated by this disc when the axial displacement of the disc has attained a certain value, and means controlled by these contacts to stop the machine.
