Description

The present invention relates to a two-wheel golf handcart with a drawbar and a container, which is divided into several compartments for receiving golf clubs and other accessories and the wheel frame with the wheels in its inactive, pivoted position, the wheel frame being connected flush with the container and the legs of the wheel frame, each provided with a wheel, are spread out after the latter has been pivoted out of the container into the active position or are brought together into the inactive position before the latter is pivoted into the container.

Golf handcarts are known in different designs. They can be divided into two main groups, those that are balanced in terms of weight so that the drawbar end is unloaded, and those that are more or less directly attached to the racket container and therefore not insignificantly load the drawbar. The first class includes those golf handcarts that have a wheel frame with widely spread legs to achieve better stability, which - even after folding - are very bulky, while the second class includes handcarts with wheels that can be folded into or removed from the container. Apart from the fact that these golf handcarts are not balanced in terms of weight, assembling and disassembling a convertible suitcase and cart is a complex matter that can be repeated a few times, but not every time.

From US-A2760782 a golf handcart of the type described is known, which falls under the second-mentioned group and unfavorably loads the drawbar in the active position of the wheel frame. In addition, the folding and unfolding of the wheel frame is a tedious thing. A golf handcart of the first-mentioned group is described in US-A2563033, the wheel frame of which is collapsible and balanced in weight in the active position, but cannot be stowed in containers for the golf clubs. If, after the spreadable legs have been folded, the wheel frame is also to be folded in relation to the stand which carries a bag for the rackets, the bag must be removed from the handcart before the stand can be folded against the wheel frame. This is a cumbersome procedure and means that in addition to the bag there is at least an equally large transport item in the form of the wheel frame, both of which have to be handled individually in terms of transport after the game has taken place.

The aim of the invention is to provide a golf handcart that does not have the above-mentioned shortcomings and combines the advantages of both types mentioned above, namely a widely spread wheel frame, on which the container is arranged balanced in weight, the wheel frame by a simple handle can be folded in and out of the container and is immediately ready for use. This object is achieved in that two articulated arm systems are provided, of which one articulated arm system is pivoted out of the container under the pressure of a spring after releasing a lock, and of which the other articulated arm system is pivoted as a two-armed lever when the longer arm is pivoted trained drawbar upwards or downwards is acted upon by the shorter arm of the two-armed lever such that the legs of the wheel frame are spread or brought together in its active position.

Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielesDescription of the embodiment

The golf hand cart according to the invention consists of a container 11 which is divided into several compartments, of which the compartment 12 for the wheel frame and its actuating mechanism, the compartment 13 for the golf clubs and the compartment 14 for accessories of various types are provided.

The wheel frame 15 accommodated in the compartment 12 consists of a frame 17 to which two legs 18 and 19, each with a wheel 20, are connected in an articulated manner. Each individual leg consists of a parallel linkage 18a and 18b or 19a and 19b, which is connected to the respective wheel so that the wheels are always parallel to each other.

On an axis 16, a drawbar 21 is mounted on the container 11, which is designed as a two-armed lever, the longer arm 22 is provided at the free end with a handle 23, while the shorter arm 24 is provided with a bearing pin 25 on which one Tensile and compressive rod 26 is attached. The rod 26 acts on a first articulated arm system 27, consisting of the articulated arms 28 and 29, one end of the articulated arm mes 28 is mounted in a bracket 30 on a fixed wall part 31 of the container, while the opposite end is articulated to the second articulated arm 29, the opposite end of which is mounted on the frame 17 of the wheel frame. A link control 32 is provided, which consists of a slot 33 or the like in the articulated arm 29 and the above-mentioned rod 26, so that the latter can be freely moved in the slot of the articulated arm 29. The other end of the rod 26 is articulated to a second articulated arm system 34 which includes the articulated arms 35 and 36. The articulation point 37 of the rod 26 on the second articulation system 34 is also a common articulation point of the articulated arms 35 and 36, which are each articulated to a leg 18 and 19 with their opposite ends.

The first articulated arm system 27 is under the influence of a compression spring 38, which is clamped between a fixed stop 39 and the articulated arm system 27. To fix the wheel frame 15 in the stowed position, an easily releasable locking device 40 is provided in the container 11, while to fix the wheel frame in the pivoted-out and spread-out position on the drawbar 21, a locking device 41 is attached, which is brought into engagement with a locking hook 42 on the container can.

Wirkungsweise der ErfindungOperation of the invention

If the wheel frame 15 is to be pivoted from its inactive stowage position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 into the active transport position, the locking device 40 is released, as a result of which the entire wheel frame can rotate under the pressure of the spring 38 around the pivot pin 16 and pivot out of the container 11 . The spring pressure is chosen so that the articulated arm system 27 unfolds completely, i. H. the articulated arms 28 and 29 form approximately a line. By pivoting the drawbar 21 into the position shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the rod 26 is displaced in the direction of the wheels, the second articulated arm system 34 being acted upon and the articulated arms 35, 36 and thus also the legs 18 and 19 of the wheel frame being spread apart . During this movement of the drawbar, the spring 38 is also tensioned and thereby exerts a pressure on the joint system 27, i. H. on the articulated arms 28 and 29, whereby these remain in their spread position.

The return of the wheel frame 15 into the container takes place in the opposite way. First, the drawbar 21 is released from the locking hook 42 and folded towards the wheels, whereby the legs 18, 19 are brought together and the spring 38 is relieved, so that when the wheel frame is pressed towards the container, the articulated arm system 27 buckles and that Wheel frame can be pivoted into the compartment 12 of the container. During this pivoting movement, the spring 38 is tensioned again and in order to prevent the wheel frame from pivoting out, the locking device 40 is inserted. In order to facilitate the buckling of the first articulated arm system 27, it is advantageous if the articulated arms 28 and 29 mutually form an obtuse angle in the extended position, which angle deviates only slightly from 180 °.

The invention is not limited to the illustrated and described embodiment, but can be varied widely within the scope of the claims.
