Description

The invention relates to a device for forming and stacking sections or welded bag or bag workpieces separated from a film tube web or a material web, with a cross-cutting or cross-welding device separating or welding off the intermittently moving material web sections and a device which clamps the respectively separated section the separated sections take over suction belt conveyor, the belts of which are provided with suction holes at a distance which is greater than the length of the sections, and with a pressure roller which can be moved and lifted in time with the release of the holding device against the end of the suction belt conveyor, the pressure movement of which with the Passage of the suction holes is synchronized such that each section is sucked in by the suction holes with its rear region.

In a device of this type known from DE-OS 2 915 689, the respective section in the area of its rear end is sucked in by the lower run of a suction belt conveyor, the front area of the section rising from an acute angle to the discharge end of the upper suction belt conveyor and with a higher one Conveying speed revolving suction belt conveyor is kept taut and for stack formation behind the discharge end of both conveyors a drum is provided which picks up the sections at its front end and rotates in time with the feeding of the sections at the conveying speed of the upper suction belt conveyor.

The object of the present invention is to modify a device of the known type in such a way that stacks of sections, in particular of light, sensitive and wrinkling material, can be formed without needling by depositing them successively.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the suction belt conveyor conveying with its upper strand is partially covered in its end region by a second suction belt conveyor which takes over the sections and conveys these with its lower strand, the belts of which are also at a distance which is greater than the length of the sections , is provided with suction holes which suck in the sections supplied by the first suction belt conveyor in its front region, and that an intermittently driven stacking belt conveyor is arranged under the second suction belt conveyor, on which the sections are deposited by a device pulling them off to the second suction belt conveyor. The device according to the invention enables stacks to be formed from sections, including thin, light and creasing material, because the sections, starting with their separation from the material web, are always held in the correct position by holding devices, fixed during their transport and deposited by special pulling devices.

From DE-AS 1 299515 a device for stacking thin-walled film sections is known, in which the film sections are intermittently transported from the lower run of a suction belt conveyor over the stack that is being formed or the storage location and there from the suction belt when a section is stopped by a precipitate be solved. In this known device, not only is the stacking speed limited by the intermittent drive of the suction belt leading the sections to the stacking station, an exact position of the sections on the suction belt conveyor is also not guaranteed.

From DE-AS 2 832 660 it is known per se to convey sections sucked in from the lower run of a suction belt conveyor at the front ends to a stacking station.

The pulling device expediently consists of punches, which extend between the gaps formed between the belts and press the loose rear ends of the sections against a support, the stacking belt conveyor or on the stack which is being formed. The front ends of the sections then lie in the correct position on the stack after they have fallen off or been pulled off from the suction holes.

The base can consist of a suction bar, which secures the position of the first section of a stack.

Appropriately, in the front area of the second stacking belt conveyor there is a rake which can be lowered through the gaps and which presses the last section of each stack on it, can be moved with it during the intermittent preference of the stacking belt conveyor and can be moved after each preference of the stacking belt conveyor and after each preference returns to its standby position. The lowerable rake fixes the stacks before their intermittent removal and leads to a clean separation of the last section of the last stack and the first section of the newly forming stack.

An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, in the single figure of which a schematic side view of the device for forming and stacking sections is shown.

A film tube web 1 coming from a supply roll (not shown) is intermittently advanced by preferential rolls 2 and passed between the open jaws of a welding device 3 and through the clamping jaws of a clamping device 4. For the stretched forward transport of the front end of the tubular film web 1, two blowing nozzles 5, 6 are provided, which generate an air flow carrying the front end of the tubular film web As soon as the tubular film web 1 has reached the position shown in the drawing, control devices (not shown) switch off the preference and actuate the welding device, the jaws of the clamping device 4 closing at the same time. After a section has been severed, the welding device 3 is opened again.

With the lowering of the pressure roller 7 actuated by a piston-cylinder unit, the jaws of the clamping device 4 also open, so that the section is brought into contact with the upper run of the suction belt conveyor 8 and is conveyed away by the latter. The suction belt conveyor 8 consists of a plurality of endless conveyor belts arranged next to one another, which run over suction boxes arranged below the level of the underside of the upper run. The individual conveyor belts have holes 10, 11 whose spacing from one another is greater than the greatest bag length. The individual holes 10, 11 of the conveyor belts form rows of suction holes running transversely to the conveying direction. The suction belt conveyor 8 is driven as a function of the crankshaft of the welding device 3, in such a way that a row of suction holes advances each time the crankshaft of the welding device rotates. The device is controlled in such a way that the pressure roller 7, while opening the clamping device 4 at the same time, descends to the section at which the distance of the pressure roller 7 to the rear end of the section corresponds to the distance to the next row of suction holes, so that this rear end of the section is made to coincide with this row of suction holes. In this way, only the rear end of the section 12 lying on the suction belt conveyor 8 is held in each case, while the remaining area of the section 12 lies freely on the suction belt conveyor 8. The discharge end of the suction belt conveyor 8 is covered by the lower run of a second suction belt conveyor 13, which likewise consists of a plurality of narrow endless belts arranged next to one another.

The bands of the lower run also run. via suction boxes 4. The belts of the second suction belt conveyor 13 are provided in the same way as the suction belt conveyor 8 with rows of suction holes 15, the spacing of which corresponds to that of the suction belt conveyor 8. The rows of suction holes of the two suction belt conveyors 8, 13 are coordinated with one another in such a way that the rows of suction holes 15 suck the sections 12 conveyed onto the suction belt conveyor 8 at their front ends. In this way, the sections 12 are held both at their front and at their rear ends by the rows of suction holes. After the section 12 has detached from the suction hole row 11 or 12 during its further transport by the suction belt conveyor 13, it is transported freely suspended from the suction hole row 15 until the section 12 is above the stack to be formed. In this position, the rear end of the section 12 lies above a suction bar 16. As soon as the section 12 has reached this position, the punches 17 of a precipitate 18 extend, reach between the belts of the suction belt conveyor 13 and press the rear end of the section 12 onto the Suction bar 16 or the stack being formed. Characterized in that the section 12 is held by the punch 17 at its rear end, the front end of the section 12 is withdrawn from the suction hole row 15. After this storage of section 12, the stamp 17 is withdrawn again.

Below the suction bar 16 there is a stacking belt conveyor 20 on which the stacking takes place. If a stack with the desired number of sections has been formed, a finger rake 19 arranged in the region of the discharge end of the suction belt conveyor 13 lowers and presses the stack formed onto the stacking conveyor belt 20. At the same conveying speed with which the stacking conveyor belt 20 intermittently the last stack formed Conveyed by distance x in the direction of arrow A, the finger rake 19 moves with it. For this purpose, the lowering cylinder 21 of the finger rake 19 is mounted in a console, which in turn is fastened to a guide 22 which has a toothed rack 23 at its end. The rack 23 meshes with a pinion 24 of an electric motor 25, which at the same time serves to intermittently drive the stacking conveyor belt 20.

After the stacking conveyor belt 20 has moved the stacks forward by the distance x in the direction of arrow A, it is switched off again, the cylinder 21 is retracted and the finger rake is moved back into its starting position as shown in the drawing.

During the course of the stacking belt conveyor 20, the suction belt conveyor 13 has already transported sections 12 back and pressed them onto the suction bar 16 by the punch 17. The suction bar 16 holds the first bag placed on it so that, on the one hand, the first stack held by the suction bar 16 is smoothed by the stack of bags to be removed and, on the other hand, slipping of the sections further deposited on the suction bar 16 is prevented.

When changing the format, it is only necessary to adjust the suction hole rows of the suction belt conveyors 8 and 13 to the new format by rotating the belts.
