Abstract

The present invention relates to medicine, particularly to medicine equipment for storing the liquid and powdery medicines, using for injections.Two types of a mixing bottle for medicines are claimed.According to the first variant, the mixing bottle contains a housing member divided by a fixed horizontal baffle and pressed tightly into the housing, the baffle has radial apertures and protrusion in the center thereof with an external thread into two unequal parts: a trapezoid bottom part and a conical top part at which there is a neck for loading a powdery medicine. A hollow rod, placed in the bottom part of the housing, made with a cap on the top end and with a disc on the bottom end with an external groove along a perimeter for tightening ring and with the ribs on an external surface for rotation.According to the second variant, the housing of the mixing bottle made from two separate parts: a trapezoid bottom part with an aperture at the bottom for loading a liquid substance and with a collar with an external thread and with two apertures on the opposite end and a conical top part with an internal thread at the bottom with an orifice on the opposite end for loading a powdery medicine in which fixed horizontal baffle with two apertures is pressed. The mixing bottle additionally has a limiting device, made in the form of a projection in the bottom part and a groove in the top part of the housing. Tightness is provide by a gasket, placed between the parts of the housing, a rubber tightening ring and a rubber closure.

Description

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to medical devices for storing liquid and powdered drugs used for injection.

Known mixer bottle [1] for storing liquid and solid medicinal substances, including a cylindrical body with an external thread at the open end, divided into two unequal sections, a stationary horizontal partition pressed into the inside with holes along the perimeter. Inside the case there is a hollow shaft with two side holes, with a disk at one end and a cover with a pressed-in rubber stopper and internal thread. The mixing of solid and liquid medicinal substances is carried out through the holes of the septum and the hollow rod, the tightness of which is ensured by rubber gaskets. A disadvantage of the known mixer bottle is the wear of the rubber gasket of the horizontal partition, in which the mixing dosage is violated, the storage capabilities of more than two drugs are limited.

The closest in technical essence and essential features to the claimed invention is a bottle-mixer for medicinal substances [2]. The known mixer bottle contains a cylindrical body with a baffle, a lid and a hollow rod connected to it, moreover, according to the invention, the baffles are made in the form of vertical plates of the same size, fixed fixed to the tube passing through the center of the cylindrical body. Holes are provided on the tube at a level closer to the lid and the bottom, communicating with the sections between the vertical partition plates, and on the inner surface between the holes there is a thread. The hollow stem of the cover is made with bilateral through holes and an external thread located at the level of the holes and thread of the tube passing through the center of the cylindrical body. At the bottom of the cylindrical body, openings are provided for loading medicinal substances, the number of which corresponds to the number of sections in the body. The disadvantages of the known bottle-mixer are the design complexity, lack of tightness between sections and the limitation of its functionality.

The objectives of the present invention are to simplify the design, ensuring high tightness of the mixer bottle and expanding its functionality.

The tasks are solved by the claimed variants of the mixer bottle for medicinal substances.

The bottle-mixer for medicinal substances according to the first embodiment contains a housing, a fixed partition and a hollow stem with holes and threads. The body is divided into two unequal parts, hermetically sealed inside the stationary horizontal partition: the trapezoidal lower part, made with a thickening at the base, and the upper conical part, on which the neck is arranged to load the powdered medicinal substance. The fixed horizontal partition is made in the form of a plate with radial windows and a protrusion in the center with an external thread combined with the internal thread of the hollow rod. The hollow stem is made with a cap on the upper end and a disk on the lower end, with an outer groove around the perimeter for the o-ring and ribs on the outer surface to ensure rotation. The tightness of the mixer bottle is ensured by a gasket placed on the cap of the hollow stem and a rubber stopper plug.

The bottle-mixer for medicinal substances according to the second embodiment contains a housing made of two separate parts. The trapezoidal lower part is made with a thickened base with a hole for loading liquid substance in the center and a shoulder at the opposite end with an external thread and two holes. The upper conical part is made with an internal thread at the base, with a decorated neck at the opposite end for loading the powdered medicinal substance. A fixed horizontal partition is pressed into it, made in the form of a plate with two holes. The mixer bottle is additionally provided with a stopper made in the form of a protrusion on the lower part and a groove on the upper part of the housing, and tightness is ensured by a sealing gasket placed between the housing parts and the rubber stopper plug.

The claimed design of the mixer bottle provides hermetic storage of medicinal substances, while simultaneously mixing several substances in one bottle, expands the functionality of the device.

According to the first embodiment, the bottle-mixer for medicinal substances (Fig. 1) contains a housing 1, divided by a fixed horizontal partition 2 pressed into the housing, hermetically pressed into the housing, into two unequal parts: the trapezoidal lower part 3, made with a thickening at the base, and the upper conical part 4, on which the neck 5 is loaded for loading the powdered medicinal substance, and the rubber stopper plug 6. The fixed horizontal partition 2 is made in the form of a plate with radial windows 7 and a protrusion in the center ru with external thread. Inside the trapezoidal lower part of the housing, a hollow rod 8 (Fig. 2) with holes 9, with internal thread and a hat 10 at the upper end and a disk 11 at the lower end made with an outer groove around the perimeter for the o-ring 12 and ribs on the outer surface for

According to the first embodiment, the medicinal substances are loaded into the mixer bottle as follows.

First, the hollow rod 8 is inserted tightly into the base of the lower part of the body, screwed to a fixed horizontal partition 2 located in the upper part of the body. In this position, the windows 7 of the fixed horizontal partition are hermetically closed by a cap 10 of the hollow stem with a gasket. In the hollow rod through the hole on the disk 11 serves a liquid medicinal substance and sealed it. Through holes 6 of the hollow stem 7, a liquid drug substance fills the lower trapezoidal part of the body. In the upper part of the housing 2 through the neck 12 load a powder of a medicinal substance, after which they are pressed with a rubber stopper. Thus, the vial mixer is ready for storing and mixing medicinal substances.

To mix medicinal substances by turning the disk 11 located on the lower part of the body counterclockwise, the hollow stem 8 moves away from the fixed partition 2, a gap is formed between them, and through the open windows, the liquid medicinal substance flows from the lower part of the body to the upper one, where it is mixed and homogenization of powder and liquid substances. For injection, the drug substance is taken with an injection syringe through a rubber stopper 6.

According to the second embodiment, the bottle-mixer for medicinal substances (Fig. 3) contains a housing consisting of two separate parts: a trapezoidal lower part 1, made with a thickened base with an opening 2 for loading a liquid substance in the center and a shoulder with an external thread and two holes 3 , and the upper conical part 4 with a female thread at the base, pressed into a partition 5 with two holes 6, with a decorated neck 7 for loading powdered medicinal substance and a plugging rubber stopper 8. Mixer bottle provided with a limiter 9, made in the form of a protrusion on the lower part and a groove on the upper part of the housing to limit rotation.

In a second embodiment, the drugs are loaded into the mixer bottle as follows. First, the lower 1 and upper 2 parts of the housing are threadedly sealed to each other. At this time, holes 3 and 6 should be in the closed position. Then, through the opening 2 of the base, a liquid drug is loaded into the mixer bottle and the hole is sealed. Through the neck 7 of the upper part of the housing 4, a powdered medicinal substance is loaded, pressed into a plug 8. The tightness is ensured by a rubber gasket and a rubber ring.

To mix medicinal substances by unscrewing the threaded connection of the two parts of the casing, holes 3 and 6 are combined until they stop, the liquid medicinal substance is passed from the lower part of the casing to the upper one, where powder and liquid substances are mixed and homogenized. For injection, the drug is injected with an injection syringe through a rubber stopper 8.

A bottle-mixer for medicinal substances provides storage, transportation and use of medicinal substances in completely sterile conditions.
