Abstract
La presente invención està dirigida a una bioconversión regio- y estereoselectiva de dinitrilos alifàticos seleccionados en los correspondientes àcidos cianocarboxilicos. Mas particularmente, la presente invención proporciona métodos para la conversión de 2isobutil-succinonitrilo en àcido (S)-3-ciano-5-metilhexanoico, el cual es un producto intermedio útil en la sintesis de àcido (S)-3-(aminometil)-5-metilhexanoico (pregabalina). La pregabalina puede usarse para tratar ciertas enfermedades cerebrales, por ejemplo, en el tratamiento y prevención de trastornos repentinos, dolor, y trastornos psicóticos.
