Abstract

The window casement is attached to a frame (10) by two arms, which swivel about a horizontal axis, and by two spigots (12) which are guided in grooves (2) in the side rails (4) of the frame. The covering strips (11) of the grooves contain openings (1) at their lower ends, for the admission of the spigots. Slides (3) projecting over the openings towards the upper part of the frame, form stops which block the openings. The slides can be fixed in the open position, and holes (6) can be provided to accept retaining elements for this purpose. The slides can also have horns which are forced against limiting stops under the action of springs (13).
