Abstract
The invention relates to a switch mechanism for an electrical switch, the switch contacts of which switch are operated independently of the user. The switch mechanism is characterised by the following features: - a switch lever which interacts with a switch bush in a rotationally fixed manner and can pivot over part of a circle, - a switch shaft (22) which interacts in a positively locking manner with the switch bush, with play in the circumferential direction, - a spring support, which interacts in a positively locking manner with the switch bush, with play in the circumferential direction, - at least one spring, which acts on the spring support, the spring snapping over during rotation of the spring support, and the switch bush acting against the rotation direction of the switch lever until the point at which it snaps over, and acting in the rotation direction of the switch lever from the point at which it snaps over, - a bell crank (29), which is pretensioned by a spring, for operating the switch, the switch shaft interacting in a positively locking manner with a lever arm of the bell crank, with play in the circumferential direction, and the bell crank snapping over during the rotation of the switch shaft in order to initiate the switching process. In the switch mechanism according to the invention, the bell crank is moved as far as the point at which it snaps over via the switch lever, the switch bush and the switch shaft. Once it has passed this point, it is relieved of tension as a result of the spring force exerted on it and initiates the switching process. At the same time, the spring force which is exerted on the spring support acts in such a manner that the switch lever is moved into its switching position which represents the switching position of the bell crank. <IMAGE>
