Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Ammoniumsulfat, insbesondere für Düngezwecke Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Ammonsulfat, insbesondere für Düngezwecke, und zwar unter Ausnutzung und Verwertung sogenannter Beizlaugen, d. h. Dieses Schwefelsäureproblem ist außerordentlich brennend und läßt sich nur teilweise durch den Ersatz von Schwefelsäure durch Salzsäure oder Salpetersäure zur Herstellung von zu Düngezwecken brauchbaren Ammonchlorid- bzw. Ammonnitratsalzen lösen, da auf gewissen Böden gerade das Ammonsulfat besonders günstige Erträge bewirkt. Es sind eine Reihe von Vorschlägen bekanntgeworden, das in den beim Beizen von Eisen mit Schwefelsäure anfallenden Beizflüs.sigkeiten enthaltene Eisensulfat aus diesen Beizflüssigkeiten durch Zusatz von Ammoniak als Eisenhydroxyd auszufällen und die vom Eisenhydroxyd getrennte Ammonsulfatlösung auf festes Salz zu verarbeiten, wobei das Eisenhydroxyd durch Erhitzen in Eisenoxyd umgewandelt werden kann.
