Im DE-GM 84 28 374 und der DE-OS 36 00 156 werden Schweißverbindungen vorgeschlagen, bei denen die einzelnen Rohrstücke endseitig ineinandergesteckt sind, wobei jeweils ein Ende als Muffenteil ausgebildet ist und eine Wicklung aus elektrischen Widerstandsdrähten trägt. Im letzteren Fall sind die Enden der sich gegenüberstehenden Kunststoffrohre zueinander kGiüp1-ranter und konisch ausgestaltet. Hüerbei wird eine großflächige, feit und zuverlässig abdichtende Bindung erreicht. Die Widerstandsdrähte verbleiben im Verbindungsbereich und sind verloren. Dies ist besonders bei dem Teil, das die Heizwendel trägt, kritisch, während das Gegenstück vor dem Zusammenstecken einfach durch Auswischen gereinigt werden kann. Aus Gründen der Handhabbarkeit wäre es wünschenswert, wenn sich eine einfachere Lösung finden ließe, bei der der Verpackungsaufwand weitgehend reduziert würde und bei der nicht auf die richtige Einführung der jeweiligen Seite bei ddr Montage geachtet werden müßte. Die Eiektroschweißfittings bestehen aus dem gleichen Werkstoff wie die Kunststoffrohrstücke und werden üblicherweise ebenfalls durch Extrusion und nachfolgende spanende Bearbeitung hergestellt; sie können jedoch auch durch Spritzgießen oder andere Kunststofformverfahren erhalten werden. Beim Verfahren des KurzrohrreHnings werden kurze Rohrschüsse in eine zu sanierende Leitung eingebracht (z. B. durch ein Schachtbauwerk) und zu einer neuen Leitung in der alten Trasse zusammengesetzt. Hierbei ist es zum Erzielen einer guten Verschweißung wichtig, duß das Muffenende vor dem Schweißen vollständig sauber ist; daher muß es gereinigt werden, z. B. durch Abwischen oder mit Hilfe von Wasser und Preßluft. Deren Qualität wird weiterhin dadurch verbessert, daß die Ver-Schiebung des Spitzendes in das Muffenteil während des Schweißvorganges zu einer Scherdeformation der Schmelze führt. Auf diese Heise wird ein dichter und längskraftschlüssiger Verbund erhalten.
